This trip was exactly what my family needed. The staff are amazing, our trip leader Michelle is just a priceless human being. She made the rafting trip a blast and helped me feel better about bringing a young child. We will be returning again...and again, and probably again after that.

15 of my friends (age 25-30) and I went on the 6man raft tour. We had the best time possible. Bill was the guide for my boat and he was an amazing person and great leader. The whole crew here works as a team to make sure everyone stays safe.

The food at river run rafting is basically simple home cooking. Don't expect too much.

The night life here was totally crazy. There was a great amount of like minded people to drink and play games with. If you have a bad time here its probably your own fault.

This will be a yearly trip for us most likely.

I believe it is the best rafting experience in Ontario. It is safe yet very challenging. We were a group of 12 people and the instructor Brew Chris was amazing. Thanks for bearing with us Chris.
I would highly recommend it.

My experience at RiverRun Rafting was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Bill, was very fun and knew the river really well as did all the other guides who work there as well. I went on the 12-person boat and it was actually a little mild for my liking. The online videos make everything seem more intense for lack of a better word and while there is definitely a thrill, I would suggest you go on the 6-person boat if you can to maximise this.

River run rafting was an amazing experience. The staff there go far beyond expectation in making sure everyone feels safe, and try their best to make it fun. I would HIGHLY recommend this company if you are thinking about rafting.

I would like to extend a personal thank you to AJ for being a wonderful guide. Your energetic and positive attitude really made the experience what it was.

incredible. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. The camp ground was clean, staff was amazing, the rafting itself was life-changing for me. The rafting included quite a bit of nice surprises! there was live music playing Saturday night! the food was great. I highly recommend it. I will do it again.

Went with 38 cadets. Stayed in cabins. White Water Rafting was so exciting! Guides were super fun and knowledgable! Beautiful site on Ottawa River! Love the common area!

Very pleased with my experience at River Run. We had a group of 6 in which we participated in both the 12 man and the 6 man rafting trips. The 12 man raft was less intense then the 6 man but still a blast! All of our meals were covered on both rafting days (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 dinner). The food tasted really good and they fed you until you were full!

River Run staff were amazing. From the servers at breakfast to the maintenance staff to the HIGHLY experienced rafting guides. Essentially, anything that our group was in need of, River Run staff would try to accommodate us with, so we could have the best quality experience possible. The maintenance guy, named T.C., was amazing! He was our go-to guy when we were in need of some sort of accommodation whether it was a BBQ for food or if it was ice for our cooler! Without him our trip wouldn’t have been what it was! T.C. went way above and beyond what was expected of him to give us an amazing experience. ASK FOR T.C.!! In addition, the older lady (can’t remember her name) who ran the pub was also very amazing. She provided us great customer service and amazing conversations. She was very supportive and wanted to do whatever she could to accommodate us.

I am also pleased with the amount of respect, courtesy and professionalism that the rafting guides bring. We had Jake as our guide and after talking to him throughout our rafting trip and getting to know some of the other rafting guides we find out that he a few of them (the guides) compete on the Canadian rafting team and competing all over the world at an elite rafting level. This helped us guarantee that we, as well as the other clients on the other rafts were in good hands for our trip. What was very cool was how Jake and all of the other rafting guides were very down to earth and easy going. They brought tones of energy to the trip and really connected with their clients on a personal level. In addition, they make sure that they give you the experience you’re looking for. For example, we wanted our rafting experience to be wild and crazy. We wanted the raft to flip and have our trip as intense as possible so, Jake gave us that experience! On our 6 man raft day, Jake took us through rapids where the raft flipped a couple of times! He also took us over a waterfall which was very cool as it is only something that comes around every 5-10 years. Because of the water levels they rarely get to go over the waterfall so, this was awesome! If your group doesn’t want this experience then don’t worry, they will provide you with something you want! Also, we were able to attend a PAINT PARTY which was put on by at Wilderness Tours (River Run’s sister company). This was a 19+ event that made our river run experience even more exciting. Jake told us about the event and we also found out that there are often events like this that aren’t advertised by River Run. So, if you have a group (19+) and are looking for a fun 19+ event, don’t be afraid to ask the amazing guides and staff! I have nothing negative to say about this trip and I am already looking to plan my next trip back (this summer or next).

I would recommend River Run if you want a fun, wild and adventurous experience. River Run provides a very unique experience and their trips are completely different and more exciting than that of Wilderness Tours (speaking from my experience compared to what I saw on the water with the W.T. boats and also through conversation with staff of R.R.). When attending a trip the experience will be different every time as the water levels are always changing and depending on the water levels will determine what rapids they are able to bring you through!

Thanks T.C., Jake, Chez, Berto, Drew and the rest of the Rafting guides and staff for making our stay an incredible experience!

Extremely impressed with my most recent experience to River Run Raftong in Ottawa. All of the staff and especially the tour guides provided my group as well as myself with an unforgettable experience.

Our group had the opportunity of experiencing both the twelve man raft as well as the six man raft both were incrediable and which ever you choose will fill your day which excitement and adventure! Personally I loved the six man raft as we were able to flip the raft and go over the waterfall. Our guide Jake not only highened our rafting experience but also directed our group to other activities around the River Run grounds as well as their sister company Wilderness Tours. All of the tour guides were outstanding, they made us feel comfortable and safe on our journey.

While at River Run we had the pleasure of meeting T.C who was Pernod the matience team. He went above and beyond for our group. Absolutely impeccable service, it's hard to find people with such commitment to their guest and I was blown away by how amazing he was to our group.

Overall I would highly highly recommend River Run Rafting, weather you are a adventure thrill seaker or like myself extremely uncoordinated you are ensure to have a phanomal time. I cannot wait to go back and raft again.

Thank you to everyone who made this such a truly incredible experience.

Highly recommended for any groups looking to have a great time. Guides were really helpful in teaching us all the tricks to survive and we're really entertaining. I did the ultimate adventure and for about 6 hours all in, worth it

As far as the rafting goes, this is a fantastic place to book with. Leaving River Run's property you'll take a 10 minute bus ride up the road to where they launch from. The most significant selling point for RR is that you end up right back at their beach! No need to take a bus back while you are soaked, wet and cold (depending on the time of year). Our guide was awesome and expertly guided us through the river's rapids. Our guide also pointed out the dangerous tactics that other tour companies (notably Horizon) was doing that were dangerous - made us feel like we were with a professional.

Cabin rentals are available on site which we took advantage of. They were relatively clean but had quite a few bugs (spiders and earwigs).

The most disappointing part was the meals...
BREAKFAST: the eggs seemed to have come from a bag along with the potatoes (frozen) and the bacon was minute bacon (kind like the crap Tim Horton's had until they realized it was crap). Coffee was terrible on both mornings. They ran out of orange juice on Saturday morning. Sunday morning, the sausages were inedible and the french toast reminded me of the frozen stuff from A&W (are you seeing a theme? everything is frozen!)

LUNCH: burgers and hot dogs - burger patties also seemed like frozen crap and were a 1/4 of an inch thick. They had pasta salad and potato salad to accompany along with cookies and potato chips (Not fries). No cheese or bacon for the burgers, hot peppers were stale and tasted like pantry.

DINNER: the best meal of the weekend: herbed roasted 1/4 chicken (white or dark meat), baked potato, green beans, lentils. Dessert was freezer burned vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and a home made apple crumble.

So, if you book with RR, keep in mind the food will be a let down and plan for that by bringing your own food to supplement the crap they offer.

Otherwise, this is a fun place to book with.

Terrified of water after a horrific experience with Wilderness Tours last year. But with the support and knowledge of our amazing guide AJ, I was able to overcome my fears! An amazing, friendly, professional team! I will definitely be back for more!

Camping facilities are very minimal, but that's not why you're here. Guides are awesome and the trip is a pile of fun. Be ready to get wet and push your boundaries!
