Buddy on vancouver island couldn't find mags anywhere but here, he ordered em and they arrived within a week. Id heard about the place before and wanted to see what the buzz was about and was looking for hard to come by mags, walked in and it was everything you could want. Had my elusive mags as well, and gave me a sticker for the safe. Top shelf establishment.

Was recommended Bashaw Sports Centre by friends. Excellent service, staff was knowledgeable, and very friendly. Wide range of firearms, ammunition, accessories, and safes. Helped me get the firearms I was looking for. Pricing very comparable to stores/shops in the city and online. Will be returning to shop again.

I had an issue with an order. I sent an email and received a phone response within minutes. Brodie answered my questions and took the time to explain the issue to me. I appreciate the phone call and the answers.

I recommend this store for remote purchases. I am from Ontario.

They were a dealer for a certain brand according to their website, and I was trying to locate a specific model of rifle with no luck at all the other dealers I had tried. They had one of the model in stock when I called.

Dawna was pleasant to deal with and took time to answer all my questions over the phone. She also sent photos of the rifle via email to me since I was wondering what colour tone and grain the stock had. This is not something most dealers want to take time to do. She offered to do it without me even asking.

Then by using fax to send all confidential data required (PAL and credit card info) along with email for updates the deal was completed smoothly. When my rifle was in the mail she sent me the tracking number.

The rifle arrived and meets all my expectations. Plus the customer service I received during this purchase exceeded what I am used to, especially when dealing with the large stores selling firearms these days.

I have purchased 2 Scopes on 2 different occasions, both times the staff were very accommodating on holding the scopes for me until I was able to travel from Edmonton to Bashaw Sports (1.5 hours each way). The pricing was substantially cheaper than all other retail outlets in Edmonton. I did attempt to get a reduced price on my second scope (no harm in trying) with an Employee who's name was Pud (not sure if this is a nickname) and would not lower the price as he mentioned they are very competitive and fair with the pricing and when the new stock comes in the pricing is going to raise as importing them has increased costs... This shows integrity as a business cause most retailers would just raise the price of their old stock purchased at lower prices to increase profit margins (scope was still $250 cheaper than anywhere else).
In my conversation with Pud in regards to the scope, I asked about some 28 Nosler Ammunition as I am finding it hard to get my hands on the caliber. They had none in stock at that time, he did however locate 7 boxes in Eastern Canada for me. I purchased 4 as I didn't want to take all 7 in case someone else was having the same problem as myself.
Bottom line is, if you are looking for a great price on a particular product, Bashaw Sports is defiantly worth a call. They also ship at very reasonable cost to save a drive. It may be worth a drive for you though if you have never been in there, you may find something you have been unsuccessful and finding at other locations... NEAT LITTLE STORE with lots of product. Just got the gun I ordered for my daughter in the mail and couldn’t be happier. There was a little mix up with the tracking number at first that caused a little frustration on my part but Pud was able to figure it out and replied quickly to my email. This is the place to go for guns and shooting supplies. Very nice people and incredibly accommodating and helpful.

I called a week before going and talked to Brodie. My goal was to purchase a rifle for my son on his 13th Birthday. Brodie was extremely helpful and had some great ideas with selection and caliber.

We went the following Saturday as planned, asked for Brodie , unfortunately he was busy with other customers. We got a fellow named Taras instead.

Taras was extremely helpful with rifle selection and scope selection. He was thoughtful about my budget, and stayed on it. He's very calm and collected, and being the owner, not fat headed at all. I was very impressed. He was kind and open with communication with my son, gave my son a free hat and cleaning kit too being a first time gun owner. Again, extremely impressed.

Brodie came over after and introduced himself, he was just as nice as he was over the phone, easy to talk to and helpful with a great personality.

I would not hesitate even a little to go back there. And we drove there from Devon, Alberta cause they had rare left handed Tikka's.

Its nice to see shooters and hunters working in a gun shop that care and want to see the customer leave happy and satisfied.

Thank you Brodie and Taras. You made my sons day special. He is still talking about it a week later.

This is the hidden gem of firearms shops in Alberta. Amazing selection, great service and competitive prices to boot. Found the only rifle in Alberta here in the make & model I wanted about a month ago. I only found the shop because the Weatherby dealer search sent me there. The service on the phone with Donna was terrific, she went out of her way to check details for me on a busy Saturday. Took the 3 hour drive instantly to pick up my rifle. Not only did they have the exact model and caliber I wanted, they also had the matching Weatherby scope mounts in stock and both at very competitive prices. Highly recommend this store, especially if you're looking for something rare. Will shop here again for sure.
