Great beach, a cute concessions to buy food, snacks, and drinks.
Bathrooms are clean and dry, not labeled, I discovered them by accident while walking to the concession. Anyone can use them ( please always check before enough send your children in alone boy or girl, lots of unsafe people out there) and the sand was nice, until you got close to the water, then it became mud, otherwise a great place for some water fun

Wonderful lake to visit for the day or weekend. Shallow lake for the kids and playground. Fun for adults to float and meet with friends. Pretty clean lake depending on the time of the year as most in the province.

You do have to plan your trip well in advance... this place books up fast. There is a beautiful sand beach that they rake daily, a nice playground for the kids. The lake is shallow so you can let your kids have some fun without freaking out.... the deepest part of the ropes off area is 5' but the slope is very gradual. There is a shower house there, the water comes from a coal seam and has a distinctive odor and flavour... fill your RV in Bashaw at the campground before you make your way to Pelican. Because of the sand the showers are full of it bring some sandals to wear in there. There is an RV dump station, a concession, mini golf and laundry on site. You have to pay for wood there. Quiet times are enforced, the place is patrolled regularly. We go for a week yearly.
Be aware the guy who looks after the place really needs an AC unit and some time off. Definitely not the most friendly.

Good little (not that small, but compare to other lake side campgrounds) campground with lake side access. Personal experiences, but compare to other lake side campground, this place wasn't that crowded, probably, campers didn't need to pack up all shelters to watch their kids. (like Gull Lake, Sylvan Lake, ppl need to have something to stay long, but beach area in this campground is so close to the campsite.) I was there in 2020 August long weekend.

Such a beautiful lake. Lots of places to see including wildlife. You have a fueling station where you launch. At the camp area, there is a huge selection to choose from to do. Once a year there is a boat parade and then fireworks.

People that run the place just the nicest people in the business. They're very accommodating Pleasant and work very hard keeping the campground neat and tidy and clean the fishing was great and I will definitely be going back for many years to come

A good free place to stop watch the birds or just play on the beach. Never crowded. Kept clean so make sure to pick up when ready to leave. Lots of washrooms and trash cans to dispose of junk.

What a wonderful location in Alberta on Buffalo lake. I wouldn't have believed it but there are numerous Pelicans in the middle of Alberta. Seen them in California which is normal but here. Love seeing them. No Buffalo though. Good swimming, excellent camping and not bad for a little boating too. A must see if you are passing through this part of Alberta ☺

Lots of fun, great to have a playground right on the beach. Nice little campground, however the mini golf course has seen better days (likely 20-30 years ago)

Nice clean campground great price for a power site on the beach. Big newer playground. Boat launch and dock in good condition. Sani dump on the way out.

Nice lake with sandy beach. The only thing to enjoy the area to the full one has to stay in the campground as public parking is limited and no public washroom.

Fantastic family outing. Wet water and very friendly people. Five pelicans came over to visit and say hello. A place to visit and enjoy the beach.
