Max's Drive-in Restaurant

This is an amazing restaurant on route to Drumheller. Great food and affordable prices.

Their onion rings are the best. Not too salty but very crispy. Check out their mushroom Swiss burger also. Though it’s operated only by 2-3 staff, the food service is very fast and efficient.

I would highly recommend this place.

Good food, great service for being understaffed

Large selection of a burgers. Service was fast. Food was good. The kids were very impressed by the fries. We had ordered takeout for 2 adults and 4 kids, they had everything correct with the order, which seems to be a rare thing nowadays. We will be going again when down this way. If you need a fast food fix in the area, this was a great spot.
They just need to add a Veggie Burger to their menu.

Good Homecooked meals, like always hit and miss depending on taste buds but the love and passion for feeding others is well and alive ❤ (= Beats any fast food resturant hands down and the conversation is enough to go in for a cup of coffee and cinnamon bun! Friends who've been stopping here for more than 20 years shared their love of Max's Drive-in & suggested I give it a try. On a recent trip up Hwy 21 I took their advice & I am so happy that I did! Only ordered a mushroom burger with fries & gravy but oh my GOODness! What great food. The huge burger came in a big fluffy bun, juicy beef patty and loads of fresh fried mushrooms. The crispy fries were delicious alone but fabulous with the homemade thick gravy. Yuuuummmmmm. Yes it's a drive-in. No it's not fast food. But I didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a fresh, piping hot, delicious meal.

The food is always delicious and Service is great. We always use the drivethrough. Its fairly quick and the foods always fresh and hot. I love curly fries and you dont see them anywhere anymore. But here you can get Curly Fry Poutine! Amazing! We are so happy with this place.

Worth the hour drive from Lacombe just to have their burgers. I had a Dagwood burger...it was fantastic. I highly recommend it for burgers and fries. I`m not sure about anything else. I did have a pizza there last year and it was disgusting....however, everyone can have an off day. They sell lots of pizzas out of there. But the burgers are good, no, awesome!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! It is always hot and the food is great! The pizza dough is made fresh in house daily and worth every penny :) Love coming here!

Ordered a pizza to go as i still had a few hours of driving to go very delicious and was ready faster then i was expecting and will most definately go back again if i am ever in bashaw again

Max's is a small town restaurant. The service and food were really good. I would definitely eat there again.

Ordered in the drive thru. Very quick service. Ate my not so small bag of fries, then switched to my hamburger which was still almost to hot to eat. Very good
