Roy's Convenience Store & Laundromat

I'm doing my laundry here right now.

Price is reasonable, at $2 for the washer, and $2 for the dryer. There's an ATM in the store to take out cash and the owner was kind enough to give me change without requiring me to buy anything.

Overall, clean place, friendly owner, good prices.

I even going there since it opened and his other store across the street since I was 5, { @bout 30 year, wow, lol}
Anyway Roy has always been polite and always to this day still ask about the well being of my whole family.( My parents and sister and our children.)
Even when we were teenagers going to Moncton High, and when the high school kids would go in, in crowds, he handled it professionally, even though a lot of them just were there to steal candy..... He pretty much carries anything you would need when everything else may be closed. (Like holidays, snow storms, etc) [from headache meds, allergy, cold meds, children fever and reducers aids, gravol etc] to supplies for animals, candles batteries for outages.....lots of different food choices even for meals.
Also the laundry facility is always clean, mabey someone seen there was a little debris, but that's not often, I never have. I noticed as I leave, once your done, Roy goes to laundry room and washes everything down and picks up garbage if any cleans linen traps if need to be.
I've also noticed he sells everything you need to do laundry, and its small packages so you only really need to bye what you need so u don't have to bye an extra bottle of soap when you forget yours on the front step, lol, like I do.......

The manager is a VERY nice man. Friendly and kind. Good laundry experience (as good as laundry can be haha) Visiting from NS 😊

Owner was great, very friendly even though he was working a double shift.

Roy is a fantastic man, always such a pleasure to talk to and such a positive energy.

Went here to do laundry as we were just passing though town. My experience definitely wasn't as bad as a lot of the others in reviews had. The place was a normal laundromat, the owner gave me change without any issues and the regulars that I spoke to were really nice. It was honestly just a normal laundromat.

The only thing I'd note is that for some reason some machines only took quarters. I also didn't buy anything at the convenience store so I can't give any comment on that.

Other then that, I don't think this places deserves 1/5, I'd probably give it between a 3 or a 4

Haven't been to a laundromat in many years. As I expected. Though the washers certainly have shrunk. Some debris needed cleared between washers. Many washers / dryers for the small space. Not many out of order.

Every time I have been to Roy's, he has been nothing but nice to me, I live like 2 blocks away, so I am there a lot. The 1st comment said he answered ur question, did u make it clear that u had another question? I doubt it,

The guy was helpful in giving me coins while I paid by debit for the laundromat.

It's a clean, quiet place to get your laundry done. No bathrooms though.

Roy is definitely a cheat..despite the negative reviews gave this place a shot. Handed a toonie for two loonies..The guy hands me back a single loonie says that's what you gave me..why would I exchange a loonie for a loonie? Also I can confirm most of the chocolates and stuff at the counter are really old and the adjoining laundromat has about half the machines out of service. Great location but two thumbs down for integrity and attitude. So many negative reviews can't be wrong.

Laundry washers are small so it forces you to use 2 to do a load. The main dryers don’t dry properly at all so u you end up putting in a lot of extra to dry and it doesn’t dry well. Only benefit is they have 1 good washer and 1 good dryer but it’s 4 dollars and higher to use them.
