Brampton Library - Mount Pleasant Village Branch

I am regular visitor to this library and In the winter my kids enjoy skating infront of the library. This library is not a very big library but still got few important books, the library is in great spot and there are many seating places in the library to sit and ready quietly. The staff at this library are very friendly and they are always willing to help when you need any help.

Such a lovely place i did know actually exist in Brampton....one of the most pleasant area with less stupid Brampton people and worst drivers and all noise.....nature and train track around and amazing library to have such a good study experience.🤍✨

On the very warm day of Friday, August 5, 2022, I was searching via Google maps for a library that was in Brampton West. I was very satisfied to know that Mount Pleasant was one of the options. So, I used the Brampton transit, local & express, to the Mount Pleasant GO station. However, I was slightly confused with the signs/map until I asked directions.

Before I stepped inside, I was awestruck with the beauty within the community. Clean, fresh, history blended nicely with modern. Walking inside the library was just as good.

⭐ I used the computer (60 minutes) to transfer a mass amount of files. I was extremely impressed how an additional 15 minutes ⏰ was automatically put on the timer. This happen a few more times (since there were a lot of computers available). 💻

Recommended spot for everyone

I love Brampton Library. I use its services almost everyday. There is so much to learn. I always ♥ feel awesome coming here.

Great staff, they all have a warm and helpful energy as they go out of their way to accommodate all guests. One in particular especially went out of her way with multiple guests who were new to the country and still figuring things out - explaining how self-checkout works, how the holds system works across different branches, and lending a hand to find specific books or topics. The library itself is spacious although it can be hard to find a charging outlet for a laptop on busier days (not unique to this library, just be prepared). Nice big windows looking into the beautiful neighbourhood make the space feel open and airy. Love coming here!

Visited the place as it was used for Election Canada Poling station. The community center is very beautiful place. Architecture, Building, play growing, water pond and other decorations are so appealing and beautiful.
It’s near beautiful Go Station which makes it approachable for community.

Extremely helpful staff. Yes, it does get noisy when kids are around, but they are kids (not to mention staff assist a school in helping kids learn). Beautiful branch and it's surroundings all year round!

Went for the first time today. Staff is truly helpful. They guide me with the issuing books, creating my identity card and gave information about online application etc. Environment is kids friendly too seen many kids learning activities. Group study, computer facility, take home books (for three weeks) etc. Much appreciate your support guys. Thank you for your help 😄

Visited the library today to collect our library cards after completing the registration online, Kelly was super helpful in giving us our cards and guiding us through all the activities and the building layout.
The atmosphere was quite good, the kids had a good time going through all the books and spent some time colouring.
Registering and Checking out books via the app was super easy, I am impressed! We will definitely be making more visits! Kudos to all the staff members!

Very good diverse collection. Top floor is for kids.. reasonable rates for prints. Must enroll for all age

Similar to other wonderful public libraries in Brampton this one too a small but a great gem. Spread over two levels this library has ample spread of books which can cater to taste and needs of most vociferous readers. The upper level is full of natural light and it’s a treat to sit there and enjoy your book in a corner. For those who want utilitarian use of the library facilities there are ample public PCs and a network printer on offer.

This library provides quiet and clean environment to study, read or work. Visited once and felt that this place is best to complete/read anything that needs focus and supportive surroundings. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Great library and helpful staff. Just make sure you keep an eye on your computer if you need to step away as some entitled international bums try to jump on it knowing it's still in use. No order back home so they try to bring that chaos here.

Great library in my opinion. Friendly staff ready to help. Decent public safety measures to prevent COVID, and theft protection on all exits and entries. I enjoy the windows side view, it looks like an expensive view, great thing is that I am able to access it everyday easily. When its sunny out, by the large window wall, it looks amazing. Hope you guys try it out one day. :)

I was there to issue a go pro today, smooth and pleasant expeirence. Staff is cheerful,helpful and lovely. Appreciate their efforts to help.

This is one of best designed and managed libraries in GTA. The infrastructure is great and the staff is professional and courteous.

I love this library.. It's in very quiet community area and well-equipped. Very helpful staff as well .
