Brampton Emergency Hospital

This place is a god-send!!! 10/10 Excellent Service!!! Waited no more than 8 mins for every step of the triage process up to getting my x-rays. Waiting for the doctor was the longest @ 35 mins however he was tending to a lot of other patients so it was very understandable. Good news was I can hear his voice nearing closer to my room as he worked his way around. The way this place is run deserves more than 2 stars, 3.5 stars at the very least, every member of the Emergency team that I interacted with was very kind and compassionate. I don't understand the bad reviews everyone else here leaves.

Despite the very very long wait time !! God bless Dr. Hamilton and his team ! My daughter had her earring stuck in the back of her ear lobe and they where super professional and positive. Before coming to emerge I took her to walk in clinic and the physician couldn’t take it out he told me to go to the ER bless Dr.Hamilton and his team who removed it quickly and where super gentle !

it is very strange for foreigners to wait for 6 hours of help, but perhaps this is how it should be. But when I waited, professional help. Good doctors and staff.

i was there for an early procedure. every person was focused, on time and friendly. a very specious hospital. only outside of the building looks like two decades old.

Wait times at Emergency is crazy, dealt with one rude nurse too but Doctor Mehta was really nice, was so calm even after dealing with so many patients. Government should really provide more doctors as I can see it was too much work load on the two doctors present.

Went to ER on boxing day. Waited 8.5 hours. Mother had fractured her neck in two places. Doctor was rude. Nurses were incompetent and hospital was dirty. Lots to tell but it's disgusting how our healthcare has become such a diaster and know one seems to care. Brampton Civic hospital is an absolute disaster

Took my wife to ER for urgent eye injury. Rude people at the front,wayyyy long waiting times. Incompetent physicians. The physician took a picture and sent to an eye doctor for suggestions. No Ultrasound, no diagnosis. No doctor available on site. Went to another hospital and found out she had traumatic Hyphema and it was serious, had to be treated and monitored on time. It has been a disastor since then. Wont go into details. Wish they had treated us properly. ER is a joke, if you want to die/make things worse while you wait, sure go ahead and visit the ER.

My mother was taken there from her nursing home. The doctor said he didn’t think she would make it through the night yet here it is 24 hours later and no doctor will call to tell us how she is. No one answers the phones been trying to call for 18 hrs. The worse hospital I have ever had to deal with

if i could give it 0 stars i would. literally have been here taking care of a family member and advocating for them for the past three days because *most* of the staff here are incompetent. i won't go into too much detail as i will be taking this experience up with patient relations.
have had good experiences with security, a few select doctors, paramedics and tim hortons employees. i guess that makes the 1 star.

Brampton civic emergency don't deserve 0 rating. It's worst experience with them every time. Government must have a look at this. This is make for emergency help where we have to wait for 6-10 hours longer. Staff and doctors are so rude. If you can't treat well then why you are here. Yesterday night my niece went hospital through ambulance at hospital around 10 pm. She had a worst experience. Ambulance staff left her in between without any help at registration. Registration was asking for walk herself however she can't do it. Then blood work lady was full in aggressive and she did behavior very bad. She hurt her arm and there is big bruise still there. And last but not least. Doctor said why did you ambulance.he was so rude. He did not treat her. Even he did not explain her the problem and not about the medicine he gave to her. No one want to come hospital. If anyone comes there is reason behind it. Shame on whole staff of emergency. If you don't wanna work then leave this job and work at any warehouse that will be better for you.

I wish I can give them 0 , Do not ever visit this hospital I was in pain and waiting for to see doctor in ATC department almost 2 hours

To be honest I feel like these nurses and staff at this hospital get paid to be rude. My dad had to sleep there over night. I respectfully asked if it's possible for my dad to get a bed to sleep on as he was on a couch.. an older nurse was actually acting like she was 14 years of age. She goes like we don't just give you beds when you ask for it. I'm like so is it possible? She said maybe!!. It really hurts watching our nurses, which our kids should look up to, acting like kids!!.

Went there 12:30 at night July 18th to emergency. White women with grey white hair VERY , VERY RUDE at emergency inquires kiosk good thing i didnt have this altercation with her on the street. Does not definitely like her employment? DEATH WOULD COMPLIMENT HER.

Lab tech on personal call for over 15mins!!!
Overflowing Waiting room to get blood work done, line up is now in corridor only to be told ,they don't have labels.
And we should go sit in an already filed waiting room,she wasn't aware because she is not doing her job to keep the patients inform.
So now sitting outside again, not sure how long we'll be waiting for labels to be printed to get blood work done.
This is a JOKE!!!!
