Gym is so nice and amazing . Staff is very nice and helpful . I joined first time ,they describe work of every machine to me .One of the things I appreciate most about Gym is the community. I've met several other members who are friendly and supportive, and it's been great to connect with like-minded individuals. Overall, I'm impressed with the facility and the services provided.

National Gym is the most amazing gym I’ve personally ever been to. The best equipment, the best services, the most cleanliness, the newest workout machines always ready to use and so, so much more! The staff is so nice, always ready to help. I just love it! The members are also so welcoming, you’ll fit right in!! Judgement free zone any time of day. Absolutely perfect for all!

Nice gym, amazing place to work out nice equipment. Brand new cardio machines , very heavy duty with lots of quantity free weights and best plate loaded and much more equipment. In bonus gym have hot sauna and upstairs also ladies private gym. Best management.I love this gym.

The gym is spacious and well-lit, with plenty of equipment available for a variety of workouts. The cardio machines are in excellent condition, and the weight area is always clean and organized. The locker rooms are also well-maintained and stocked with all the necessary amenities. One of the things I appreciate most about Gym is the community. I moved to the area two years ago. I had been going to Planet Fitness for almost a yea but I got tired of the crowds and waiting to use equipment. I had seen National Gym many times while driving by but never went to check it out. Actually, I did a google search and was turned off by the negative reviews, so that’s the reason why I didn’t bother to look into it any further. I joined for 6 months back in November after my friend recommended National Gym to me. I’m just writing this review to express my complete satisfaction with this gym. I’m able to go in very early (5am) to get a workout done before work. Even during evenings (around 7pm) I never have to wait for equipment. Their strength machines are really fantastic. The cardio section is good enough to get the job done. Their free weight section is spacious and I don’t have to wait for dumbbells…THIS IS REALLY FANTASTIC! The bathroom/shower/locker/sauna area is also very clean.
I recommend this gym to anyone, whether a senior, student, or a bodybuilder. It’s got everything including flexible membership plans…you could do a 1/3/6 month membership or a year.
I want to go on record and say that the staff have been very polite – contrary to what is written in many of these reviews. I just come in, scan my card, and sometimes get a “hi how are you?” or “have a nice day.”
I’ve made a few friends at the gym, and some of them have been going here since 1998. WOW. I must say that they look very young and fit for their age.
I’m just writing this to say that I’m glad I found this gym and I’m glad that it’s become a part of my daily routine. Absolutely worth the money and it’s closer to my house than planet fitness (my wife encourages me to walk over, but I only do that when I want to impress her a little bit).
National Gym might not be the Conrad or Hilton of gyms but considering that we’re talking about Rexdale, it’s pretty damn close enough.

This is the best gym i have been to in my 2 year gym experience, this gym is not busy at all and has all the necessary equipment for training would recommend to anyone looking for a gym that offers privacy. The receptionist lady is so kind and helpful too.

Great place to do your workout. Not crowded.

Everytime I go here the equipment I wanna use is always free and ready to use, which is great. This gym has a variety of dumbbell weights which range from 5 to 200 lbs and many plates for the barbels. Squat, bench and the deadlift area are free 90% of the time. The gym is also clean and well maintained. I have no complaints about this gym.

Great place to work out. Never over crowded like the big name gyms and every member is friendly. Great mom and pop gym. Highly recommend.

One of best gym in area , personally if someone has real goal or want to prep professionally this gym is good. Wide range of machine to hit each and every part of body. Best thing never too busy so it’s help me complete my workout at time.

The gym is easily accessible and has many equipments allowing for an efficient workout. The prices are on the higher end but for the quality of the gym, it's worth the price. The owner and the customers and friendly. The gym has good maintenance and provides a great environment, especially during the pandemic.

This gym is a great facility with very reasonable membership rates. The staff is friendly, polite, accommodating and always willing to help. I've been going to this gym almost daily for 5yrs and have never had any problem. There are so many gyms out there and I've tried most but I've found this to be the best suited to me and my needs. The equipment is varied and clean and the space is open and bright and the hours are great, especially for someone with a hectic work schedule, like myself. I don't normally write reviews but in recommending this gym to a family member, I was questioned about some unfavourable reviews. To be clear, I was not offered any "special deals" in exchange for a positive review, nor was I asked to write a review at all. I've been using this gym for many years and that's because, put simply, it's a great gym. This isn't one of those ridiculously pompous gyms, it's a gym for people who are serious about getting a good workout in a productive, clean environment, and then going on with their day.

Been coming here for a few months and I've had a good experience. It rarely gets busy even during peak hours which is perfect for me. They only have one squat rack but because it's usually pretty empty you don't have to wait around. I deadlift here and sometimes that means dropping weights but I've never had a problem here with management. As far as I can see they're always trying to keep things well maintained, fixing something here or there every week, and the place is clean. The atmosphere is friendly, and everyone at the front desk is always super nice. Happy with this gym!

I am truly thankful that I was able to find this gym. First of all, I really appreciate the staff, they are very helpful and approachable. The membership fees are much cheaper than other gyms. The main floor is where most of the weights and equipments are, this is where both men and ladies can exercise while upstairs are exclusive for ladies ( nice place for those who wants to workout with fellow ladies only). The equipments are in good shape. There are change rooms for ladies and men. You can also put your personal belongings in the locker, just make sure to bring your own key. Their washrooms are always clean. Gym members are friendly as well. I really enjoy going to this gym, it is not crowded so you can use any equpments you want. Overall, I am happy with my experience and I would recommend this place.❤❤

Best gym ever, feels like a family. I rarely have to wait for equipment and everything works. Met so many cool people too. The owners are helpful and extremely nice 💪. love this place

National gym is my favourite gym ever. I like brand new all different type of cardio machines and all strength equipment and my favourite areas Free weights from 5 Lbs to 200 Lbs. All the best and no wait for machines to workout. Best clean and safe place to work out during COVID-19. Best management.

Amazing gym, great atmosphere with new equipment and clean showers. I really enjoy the sauna after my workout. It has been a pleasure to be apart of the gym for 8 years now. As I read the other comments I am in disbelief, the manager who is always in the front is amazing she is able to help me during my workouts and answer all my question regarding the machines.

National Gym is one of the best in etobicoke.. Top line equipment. My favourite part is the strength equipment like plate loaded machines and brand new metal free weights more than 200 Lbs. and variety of barbells. After workouts more best thing is amazing Sauna rooms and clean washrooms . My sister and friends workout upstairs they have privater gym for ladies too.. This gym i notice is always clean, fully maintained and have reasonable prices with good management .

I have been a member for the last 15 years would not change it for the world. The owner is welcoming and has turned into family. Love the private womens gym, makes me feel so comfortable. The hours are great for my early morning 5am shifts, and the washroom is always clean enough for me to shower before I go to work. I enjoy the sauna for my after work workouts and the main floor has great equipment for all my workouts.

I really like the gym, as it has brand new machines and very quite environment. Not over crowded. Highly recommend to people who love exercise, but did not find the right gym to do so.
