This time was my fourth time experience with Grand river team and as I always it was so fun. I like the turbo tubes better because they never flip and they are so comfortable and so easy to paddle .
This summer we took the Paris to Brant and second time Amazon (big Creek)
The Amazon was full of adventure and challenges which was something different from other ruts.
The team are always welcoming and helpful. Everything is prepared for you such as transportation, parking, washrooms , map even ziplock bags for your car keys and cellphones if you needed .
On our last trip we were late to the pick up location and the gentleman was waiting for us at the location and they accommodate us in a great manner.
I definitely come back because my 11 years old son loves Rafting and every time we had great time with GRAND RIVER RAFTING TEAM.

THE BEST DAY EVER. You will not be disappointed. Well organized. Safe. Kind. We went in a canoe at the Big Creek location. Experience with canoeing is Important. There were lots of trees down so we needed to navigate around them. So much fun. I sat on the bottom of the canoe to mind my head on the branches and for stability.

Had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend! Second time kayaking and went through the rapids. It was such a cool experience. Pay attention to the brief at the beginning from the guides as it helps you navigate shallow and rough areas. Paris is a cool town to explore as well. 🛶

Booked tubing for 2 from them. The overall experience from booking to handling back their tubes was seamless. Informative and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking and clean washrooms near parking. They give you instructions about the condition of water in river, rocks, what to do in different situations , where water is shallow etc. The path is very quite and scenic , thoroughly enjoyed it.
Feedback - they have picnic spots with benches, spots they tell where you can swim. But once you are in river it is hard to recognize where you can pull off, rest or eat on those spots. It would be great if they can put on some kind of flags or something.

Went Turbo Tubing from Glen Morris to Paris as a group, 4 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had such a great time! The tubes and paddles were in good shape and very stable. The staff were friendly, helpful and organized. We were able to spend the whole day floating down the river. The picnic areas were clean and the entire trip was very scenic. The river has some rocky spots, but they are easy to get past. The rapids were fun for everyone, nothing too intense for the kids. We were so pleased with the entire experience and would definitely recommend them!

I have lived in Norfolk my entire childhood life, so how dare I never take a dive into the green muddy waters of Canada’s Amazon surrounding Big Creek! We signed up for the tubing tour and the booking was easy peasy. Calling to amend the booking was well received and no wait time. The shuttle service was quick and convenient and the route (while self directed) was clear from start to finish. Was i terrified at the beginning? Yes. Did I get wet? Yes. Do I recommend not wearing Jean materials? Most definitely. Was this the best experience and showcased Canada and our marshlands to a top tier integrated in nature degree? HECK YES! Bring bug spray x

My 10 year old daughter and I had a really awesome day kayaking the 11 km Glen Morris to Paris trip. We took our time and spent a half day there. Everyone was nice and helpful. Washrooms and change rooms are available and clean. The water is really shallow at some points but still fun, perfect for smaller kids. Don't forget your sunscreen and water bottle.

Easy to book and quick to respond - originally scheduled for Sept 12 but due to high winds we we’re advised to cancel the turbo tubing. Refund was immediate. Husband was able to get off work so re-booked for Sept 19th and so glad we did it was a perfect late summer day -

Glen Morris to Paris 11:30/11:40 start finished at 2:45
Relaxing 3hrs on the water (we paddled a fair bit)however people were floating since 10:30 and we caught up with them at the 3/4 mark.

Tips for next time:
- bring liquid sunscreen instead of spray
- less stuff (packed a lot on my tube I didn’t need)
- bring an empty plastic cup (I hit a rapid the wrong way and took on a lot of water, bailing out with an empty juice box took forever lol)
- water shoes over flip flops

Looking forward to next season and trying Paris to Brant!

Recommendations for owner: Anyway to get rope lines or something to grab on when exiting at the blue flags? A couple of us had trouble getting out without ending up in the water - I feel like if there was something to support balance or to grab to pull forward and out would be easier :)

Had the BEST experience on the water. Took Turbo Tubing from Glen Morris to Paris which took around 5 hours to reach the finishing Point. Nice experience of small rapids and lot of paddling since it was a super windy day.

Had the best view of the nature while paddling. Spotted a deer, Heron (may be) and lot of geese.

First time attempt at tubing on the Grand River! Friendly staff. Good equipment. Just chill and Go with the flow! The river is shallow no need to worry also safe for children. Bring snacks and enjoy as you row, row, row your boat gently down the stream.

A must!!! Amazing for a scenic adventure trip!! We did Paris to brant 13 kms took about 3 hours at a slower pace but a few go get em times. We had a lot of time to chit chat and it was great that the water is so shallow we were able to get out whenever we wanted and easily get back in our single kayaks. We stopped to see the fresh water, waterfall and the old gypsy mine!!! So many perfect picture opportunities! This route also had a couple spots that were small rapids, there was one area that was pretty decent size for a kayak and my bf thought he'd walk the kayak back to do it again but hat was difficult made it mostly but ended up going through it backwards the second time!! The man who prepared us before the river was friendly and funny! The bus ride didn't take too long but as on any school bus it was a bit bumpy and everyone worse their masks. We were able to stop at an area just 15 mins in called bean park in Paris to have out lunch picnic, there aren't really other spots to get out and sit comfortably other than this along the way until near the end if you can wait the 2.5 hours to eat, we could not, we brought subway sandwiches in a cooler bag with ice and drinks. The kayaks have a nice storage spot on the back if them so feel free to bring your towels, food, drinks, sunscreen because it is hot and sunny on the right day!!
We will defently do this again!!

Fun day trip with friends! Beautiful scenic route and lots to see. Staff were friendly and provided clear instructions before hand. We canoed the Glen Morris to Paris route (11km). Before the trip, staff outlined the route and pointed out landmarks such as picnic areas, springs, rocks and rapids. However, we seemed to have missed the picnic areas and springs along the way as they weren’t marked. We ended up stopping for a break by some rocks. The route is fairly calm and easy, although there are shallow and rocky areas as well as some area with rapids which you should be cautious and prepared for. Reserve early in the day and spend more time on the river! Canoes and equipment were in good condition. I recommend for sure!

Such an incredible experience! We took the 8 person raft and we got the hang of it pretty fast(none of us had done rafting before). We did the Paris to Brant route and I would totally recommend Grand River Rafting. If you aren't a swimmer - the water is 3 ft deep so you will be fine.
Their staff is amazing and they are super quick with email response.

The perfect Lesson!
New to kayaking? Look no more. I would consider this to be the perfect introduction to real river kayaking. Sure, you could start with a joy ride on a lake to get the hang of it, but going on a river is a while different animal.

Couple of reasons why this is best for beginners:
1. Take the 13km stretch from Paris to Brant. It's the easiest and the river current does most of the work.
2. The whole thing can be done in 2 hours. But add in a picnic lunch, couple of drinks and pitstops - you are set fot 4-5 hours.
3. The water is really shallow - averages at 3 feet or so. So, you don't have to be worried about falling off - although the life jacket does a pretty good job of saving you anyways.

They take you on a bus ride to where the kayaks would start. And you end up where you parked. You can also choose between tandem kayaks, canoe and floats - but i would recommend to go for single kayaks.

Overall Verdict:
If you've dreamed of kayaking someday, look no further!

I had a lot of fun on this trip, it was an amazing experience and great way to explore another great part of Ontario. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and river itself is safe for someone who is novice or completely inexperienced. If you can get out there to see the leaves change you should. I did the Paris to Brant stretch kayaking at my own pace it was easygoing and you can rest whenever you really feel like it there are also lots of opportunities to stop and get on land.

I have gone here twice so far and have not been disappointed. Check in is quick and simple. The instruction guides at the beginning are funny and informative. There is a shuttle that takes you to your launching point. The turbo tubes are comfortable and have room for a bag. There are small rapids, places to go for a dip, picnic spots, natural springs, wildlife, and friendly people. Make sure to wear sunscreen you will burn, I dint think I would but I did. Most of all have fun.

Company runs on time, well organized, owner is friendly and entertaining. Had a good time! The company owns enough property, boats and transportation to get hundreds of people on the water, on time, in ideal locations. Truly a great way to see the Grand river.
