Update: This Restaurant/Pub remains as great as it ever was. I highly recommend the Salisbury steak and their burgers. A homemade patty just makes it. Also, I couldn't resist the fresh baked cinnamon buns. So yummy. See picture.

Very delicious food and affordable. The portion size on the full size nachos was massive. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed sitting by the fire. I will be a repeat customer.

Lovely little place we stopped by after staying in Port Hardy. Super amazing food. Very busy place and very friendly waitress. Home made bread 🍞 had a huge breakfast that kept me full all day. I wish you were closer to Victoria!
We will be back

Our beef dip was delicious & piping hot! Friendly service & good sized portion.
It was lunchtime & fairly quiet. I imagine the atmosphere would be great in the evening.
Worth stopping here!

The Crossroads restaurant is my go to rest stop whenever me and my friends find ourselves on a motorcycle ride in or around Sayward. On weekends you’ll find a lot of bikes in the parking lot and there’s a reason for that. The food is good, the service is friendly and on a nice day the outdoor seating is great. It’s worth stopping for the homemade baked goods alone. Highly recommended.

This maybe the only restaurant open near this town right now but don't look at this as a bad thing, this place was very friendly and had great portions of food. They are following the rules for our current world situation and still running out of seating area from time to time, but people had no issues waiting a little while. If you are driving through or staying at a near by RV / campsite be sure to give this place a try!

Nice motorcycle ride up from Courtenay.
Perfect lunch stop.
Standard, but well prepared pub food.
$5.50 pint of draft and several $10 lunch items. Patio area.
Other side of pub is a restaurant.

Great stop for lunch. Recently six of us tried a variety of burgers and sandwiches. Portions are big and the food really is top notch. Service was good and the food came out perfect. I would recommend the bisson burger and the beef dip. Check out the classic logging truck parked out front. Enjoy.

Best burgers that we've had on Vancouver Island by some margin. We stopped in on the way up to Port Hardy and then a couple of days later on the way back down the island.

Our fire crew was in town and we ate here for breakfast and dinner. Not only was service impeccable everytime from both Laura and Lindsay but they also packed our lunches for the bush. Great food and great place make sure to stop here!

Had the rhubarb and strawberry pie. Big thick piece. Perfect consistency. The pie expert at the table said it was the best he's ever had. Will be back to try more items.

We were out for a Saturday drive and stumbled upon the Crossroads Restaurant. Fish and chips were incredible, fresh made to order home made meal, crisp fresh coleslaw, house made fries, and gravy to die for! Staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back on our next trip through!

My wife and I stopped for dinner this evening at the Crossroads on our way to the Port Hardy ferry. Both our meals were absolutely delicious. The price of our meal was very reasonable. The service was excellent. We will be back as often as we can :)

Good food, great owner (Laura) who hustles to get everyone looked after. Her staff is pretty good too. Great spot for a lunch and a beer!

Excellent chicken breast in the chicken burger, but the tomato was not edible. Good sweet potato fries.

Calamari was very good. Crunchy, but disappointed in smallish size (of individual pieces. That doesn't mean it wasnt enough, portions were very balanced. Though compared to the burger, it was about half size. My only gripe would be the price of the calamari. Not that a bit under 17 dollars is too much for many restaurants to charge for it, but that the compared price to other appetizers was a little expensive for the placing on the menu. Though considerably most everywhere charges a lot for calamari, and this is no exception, but I'm very pleased with the fact that two tzatziki were provided and these breaded squid had a very satisfying soft crunch, without being too greasy or partially raw (they cooked it properly). Either good for two separate portions or two people. The calamari still tasted good later. Pescatarians have a few options on the menu. Fish burger was one of the other things I was looking at. Decided my main would be a BBQ mushroom pepper jack burger. Awesome, juicy, mushrooms were tasty and cooked... Yam fries were spilled and my puppy ate them. No pets in the restaurant, so she had to wait until we were on the road. I'm pretty sure she gave the yam fries an all toe beans up.

Honestly there burgers are top notch and the staff is super friendly, but the best part is the food feels like home in a weird way. Love it!
