High River Post Office

Reading all these negative reviews really surprised me! I have been using the High River Post Office for 12 years, my husband for 43 years, and we have never had a problem.

Since my arrival in 2011, I started with Linda who was the Postmaster at the time, but has since retired. I have worked with both Trudy as well as Gloria, no problems.

There is also a gentleman that seems to appear whenever any of the others are away. He is very good too, but unfortunately I still do not know his name, my bad.

I have nothing but a good review for these folks. I am sorry that others have not had as good service, but I have found that you receive what you give, so perhaps they need to check what they are bringing to the table.

For me, the High River Post Office is doing a good job, so keep up the good work.

I don’t know why there are such negative reviews for service at this post office. I am moving from BC to High River in a couple days and when I brought in my legal paperwork, they arranged a new box for me right away. Expeditious and friendly.

Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the gentleman who help me out, but he was excellent. I just moved to town and needed a new mailbox set up. Really efficient and friendly service.

Great service, always. We have been using this CP outlet for over 12yrs.

For the most part they are friendly however there is one lady here that is miserable! Usually the lady that delivers my mail on this end is amazing however I think she may not be working right now cause I have not gotten my mail in a week and a half.. a package was expected 8 days ago!

Canada Post makes me drive 30 minutes each way to get any package that won’t fit in our community box. They deliver to the neighbours gates, seems they’re grandfathered until they sell. Okotoks is half the distance, still bad but a solution they claim they can’t do. Canada Post and it’s family of federal disservices, gotta love the mess we’ve become!

Went in there today to return a dress that I didn't like ..
It was still on the original box from DHL ..
The lady who served me was the MOST RUDE person to me for no reason ..
I asked her if I could have a piece of tape as I forgot to tape the top ..
Approximately 6" piece ..
She stared at me like a deer in the headlights ..
And Rudely said Noooo
But I'll sell you some ..
At $4.99 I said so you won't give me a piece of tape ??
NOPE ..
I left and went to the one at Shoppers ..
Friendly ..no problem gave me a piece of tape ..Printed the return label
..
Done!!!
After reading the reviews I'm shocked this lady is still there ..
I'm sure it's the same one everyone has complained about ..

Absolutely horrific service. Gloria claims she put a notice to renew card in my box 3 times. She is lying or mistaken as I'm then only one who checks the mail. They closed our box and our mail was returned to sender.

Canada Post made the worst decision to switch rural mail delivery to their can't-fit-anything-except flyers community boxes. And they assigned the post office that need an hour drive to pick up your tiny little parcels. I'll be totally fine if you just throw it over my fence.

My god the woman who works here is miserable. Thought she was just having bad days the first 3 times I came in but now realizing it’s just the way she is. Can’t even bother saying hello to her customers, very abrasive throughout entire transaction. Seems like dealing with customers is wildly inconvenient for them here.

They denied me a gov't service based on a physical disability and would not consider any type of working with me including curbside pick up or other compromises.
Not to mention the one lady is consistently horrifically rude to customers without bring given any reason to be!

Apparently having the wrong package delivered, returning the wrong package and expecting help tracking down the correct package is beyond the scope of Canada Post, or at least according to Gloria. Thanks for reinforcing the reason why I use all other parcel carriers.

The most god awful service I've ever delt with. Even the higher ups in canada post couldnt understand the way this location opperates (not enforcing the right policy and making up their own rules). With multiple other locations in high river this one should be shut down.

Lady was so rude and didn't give me proper solution, I asked her if she can check in the system is there any mail for me, but she denied to check. So horrible

I have been trying to call them for the last few hours and no one is answering. It is like they left the phone off the hook.

They refuse to answer the phone. So dont bother calling them if you have a question

That was the worst experience trying to mail something I’ve ever had. Geez.

Helping customers seems to be an inconvenience
