Ramada by Wyndham Stettler

TLDR: Good for the price and better breakfast than many fancier hotels I’ve stayed at.

Usually spend 130+ nights in various hotels across Alberta, travel for work.

The breakfast selection is substantial. Continental with waffles, oatmeal, eggs (hard boiled & scrambled with toppings on the side), multiple breads and bagels for toast, 1 starch (potatoes or French toast), 1 protein (couple different sausages or bacon) as well as the standard pastries. I like their banana bread.
Weekends the breakfast area is quite at 6:30am but during the week it gets a bit busier early with other working folk.

The hotel is far enough from the highway that you can’t really hear the traffic. Within easy walking distance of Canadian Tire and Walmart. If you want food there is a Boston pizza across the parking lot and both Tim Hortons and McDonald’s across the main drag.

Staff is friendly and professional. Not a fan of room service every day but they have do not disturb cards for a reason. One Covid thing that I wish would hang around.

Rooms are clean, occasionally I can’t figure out how to get one of the ceiling lights on but there is enough lamps to compensate. Bathroom tiles are crack free, which is quite unusual for mid range hotels. The hot water is actually hot, which is nice.

Wifi, while not being fabulous, is plenty fast enough to stream a movie. The ping is noticeably and I can’t recommend trying to play competitive online games.

Overall it’s a good place to stay and the first choice in settler for myself and my coworkers.

Came for a hockey tournament, found there was also a basketball tournament from our home town there too! The hotel was packed! Breakfast was great, good options. Unfortunately, since the hotel was so full it was difficult to find a table for my whole family to sit at, we had to split up. And only 1 waffle maker, which made lineups over 20 minutes to make waffles. Great location, by wal-mart!

Was a great stay. Beds were brand new and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We checked in sept 24th and the front desk lady was awesome (Didn’t catch her name) but Will definitely be back because of her.

All the house keeping staff made me feel
Like this place as my 2 nd home always stocking up stuff and cleaning the room.

They have bbq so you can cook as well

A lot of parking space in front and back

Gym and hot tub is great as well

Just one thing to work on is laundry machine

The staff at the Ramada Stettler are exceptional with customer service and quick response to any concerns or requests. The well managed team welcomed me as a valued guest and help establish a home away from home for long term stays. The housekeeping by Rae and Teena was at a level few hotels can attain. I also want to acknowledge front desk professional Ken. A man of grace, good character and hard working Ramada employee,! It was a pleasure to be welcomed by Ken at a days end!

If you’re in Stettler and want to be treated well in a safe, clean hotel, look no further.

I am a weekly guest at Stettler Ramada and Shaun, Ally, and the rest of the staff are always super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend Stettler Ramada, BEST HOTEL IN TOWN!!!

Service was good, front desk staff were great, room and hotel were clean with nothing I could find to complain about that needed maintenance. Location is convenient, Walmart next door, BP's out front, Canadian Tire on the other side, yet close to everything else. Kids loved the pool, as we were there during the day on a Friday we literally had it to ourselves for 2.5 hours. My only complaint was folks essentially taking up all the useful tables in the breakfast room - a little common courtesy such as leaving when you're done and not having your party spread out over three tables would be nice; but not something the staff can easily fix.

Nice hotel, newer building, salt water pool and hot tub with a slide that goes outside and into the pool, nice workout room. Kitchenette in the rooms with sink, microwave and fridge, free WiFi, comfortable beds with pillow options. $162/night

We enjoyed the pool, waterslide, amazing breakfast with lots of variety, and the comfy beds. We had a couple of issues but after speaking with the employees, the issues were dealt with promptly and thoroughly.

Thank to Alyssa for all her help. We were headed to the Alberta Prairie Railroad excursion and she was great when we talked to her about early check in before we had to be gone for the afternoon.

Amazing Stay!
Absolutely NO complaints .. the hotel staff was AMAZING so helpful and friendly. We came in from another local hotel (motel ..awful experience) and this was much needed and appreciated change. Hotel is VERY clean, all the staff we came in contact with were very friendly. Our 1st room had an issue with the heat .. the moment we opened the door we were meet with a wave of heat. The thermostat read 36 and the cleaning staff was willing to help us immediately and help us switch our rooms a/s/a/p. They also put our previous room out of use until it was repaired.The front end staff was always so kind and cheerful just and awesome experience all around. We have all ready rebooked for our next stop in Stettler and we are looking forward to our stay.

Good value, breakfast an 8/10, check-in clerk a bit stern but check-out was fine.

220820-21 Great stay, Jacuzzi room was great, staff were fantastic. Breakfast was good - would love to have granola, peanut butter, fresh whole fruit too but still gets a five star as is.

Great experience from the time I checked in to check out. I was welcomed to the facility with the BEST service so far, kudos to Gina for her phenomenal service. Breakfast has good options. Rooms have beautiful view. Overall the satff is GREAT. Will surely visit again.

This was an amazing place to stay! The pool and waterside were a hit with my family and the staff were very accommodating. The continental breakfast was also amazing. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Recently stayed here to visit family. This hotel is excellent. The facilities are clean, new and well maintained . The rooms are spacious and modern. Amenities such as TV, showers, and beds are top notch. The front desk staff were likewise kind and efficient. Stay included a typical breakfast option for similar hotels. The breakfast bar is relatively standard with nothing surprising or noteworthy.

The cost was reasonable, although it was higher than most in the area. Still, the facilities and quality is well worth it. I will return when my travel warrants it.

This hotel has some of the friendliest front desk staff I have ever encountered in my life, making our stay memorable. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Wonderful atmosphere! Great family hotel!
