Matt came to my house to install a new breaker to allow me to update my outlets in my kitchen to the current code. It was more complex than he anticipated, but he got it done quickly and it looks fantastic. I can’t thank him enough for his expertise and professionalism. If anyone needs work from someone they can genuinely trust to get it done properly, you’ve got to call Matt.

I was changing receptacles in my kitchen on my own and next thing i know the breaker won't reset. I panicked and started calling electricians in my area. Fortunately i was able to speak to Matt and I told him abt my situation and he was kind enough to give me a quick tip on the phone for free. I tried that and it worked to solve my problem. I am very thankful to him for helping me out. I for sure would love to have him come in for any electrical job at my place in future.

I would highly recommend Matt from MegaWatt Electric. When I called to set up the appointment, I knew right away I had made the best choice. Matt started things off by trying to find a way for me to check everything over in case it was a small fix that I could do myself, talking all the details with me over the phone. When we determined that it was going to need a professional to come out he was able to set up the appointment quickly so I could get power back on for my outside outlets to reliably charge our vehicles in the winter time.

The home renovations continue, and of course that means lots of electrical updates. I decided to call Megawatt to see if they are able to work with me on my numerous renovation projects. I needed an electrician that could work with my schedule and within my budget. Matt has been great! First off, it is important that I have a good rapport with the people I hire to help with my renovations - the chances are we are going to see a lot of each other and it’s important that we get along, and they also need to be ok with my dogs. I have 3 of them and two are over 100 pounds and are really in your face and attention-seeking. Matt and Evan have been great with them. I have had Matt and Evan in for two projects already, and they were completed extremely well, within budget, and on time. Matt has been great at explaining what he’s doing, makes suggestions for things that I would like to do, provides reasonable estimates and is willing to work with my timetable. Thanks to Mega Watt I now have Pet friendly turf installed at my condo. They were not only fairly priced but they also were easy to talk to about my concerns and made everything look amazing! Fast, friendly, honest and speedy service that was completed the right way. !

Matt was awesome to deal with! I had a outlet imporperly installed by Kimberly Homes should have been a 20 amp not a 10. I had noticed a large burn mark on the outlet to the fireplace, Matt came to look and immediately knew the problem. His employee came and installed the proper outlet and rewired it. He also put in a doorbell camera and during the cold week I noticed the battery was showing low. I called Matt he was willing to come out that day to check it out however I waited as I kind of thought it was because of the cold temperatures. That was in fact the case. Side note my dog had chewed the wires on my new Christmas Tree and Matt's employee was kind enough and repaired that as well without charging me.

So I live in Lethbridge but I have a rental property in Edmonton, I wasn’t able to get it renovated myself so I called up Matt. He absolutely exceeded all of my expectations!!! He updated all my lighting to LED, and upgraded all the switches and outlets for a more modern feel. He also took care of the renovations I was planning as well! In all honestly he was very reasonable on pricing also which was fantastic! But my favourite part of using megawatt was how professional he was, he kept me updated and was honest with me. Matt did a variety of electrical work for me on the main level and basement of my renovations project. He offered helpful suggestions along the way, and he cares about his work and his customer. The quality of his work was top notch. The wiring and re-wiring he did is clean, safe. The change from the beginning to the end of the renos was remarkable, and I thank Matt for his part in doing excellent work.

Matt and his journeyman Evan, were very easy to work with, completed a complete panel upgrade within 4 hrs. Passed city inspection with ease. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work you may require.

I had a smoke detector start chirping and realized it was time to replace all 3 of my smoke detectors. When I told Matt how nerve wracking it was having a smoke detector chirp when I can smell smoke from the wild fires he was over and had the job done in no time. Greatly appreciated Matt!!
