A really nice place to meet with a friend and have a light bite. I tried their Truffle Mushroom sandwich and it's really good. Their Cinnamon Bun was not the best I've tried though. Still, a good coffee and really nice vibe.

The smell when you walk in the cafe is amazing.
The chairs weren’t comfy though, if you want to sit more than an hour, to study for example.
Every 20-30 mins, you could smell sth is burning which I didn’t like.
But I definitely go back for takeout baked stuff😍

If you like firefighters you will love District Cafe! There were lots of them in there when we went. But in all seriousness, this is a top notch Cafe. The Cinnamon buns are to die for and the mocha was really good too. A great place to bring your girlfriend for a cozy morning.

Absolutely love this place! The location is great, the pastries are great, their drinks are great as well. And the staff are so sweet and helpful. It is my regular spot for a nice bagel and latte every weekend.
Sometimes it smells smoky inside due to them baking things but other than that no complaints.

Wow very cool how this place is both bright and airy and cozy at the same time. Would recommend everyone discover our local Edmonton cafes.

I have bought coffee here nany times but never tried their food. Today i had lunch here and I loved their vegetarian sandwich with artichokes. I also had the tomato soup, it was nice and thick, most likely made from scratch?

Bustling on the weekends, but amazing service. Great coffee, but I'm not the biggest fan of their breakfast sandwiches (they're good - but I just like other places more). Good atmosphere. Location highly accessible by transit.

Cute café off Jasper. I've really only had the breakfast items but I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches and the other food offerings look delightful. Am hoping to try the baked goods sometimes as they also look divine. Pictured is the truffle mushroom breakfast sandwich, but I've also had the bacon one and it's served on a fluffy milk bun toast.

Delightful little café! I arrived here shortly after opening on August 12th. The staff were very friendly and even made me a Tokyo Fog latte (London Fog, but using matcha as a base instead of earl grey, not an easy drink to find)! Very special thanks to the staff who served me on that day.

In terms of atmosphere, it does a great job at filling that quaint café vibe. Not too fancy, but it was clean and had a nice neo-industrial aesthetic. Music wasn't too overwhelmingly loud either, which I always appreciate.

The food was great. I had a simple multigrain bagel, which was good with well-textured bagel bread.

I'm definitely impressed with my breakfast. Thank you for having me!

Nice atmosphere and great food. There are some good brunch options there. The poached eggs in the benny were cooked well and the flavours were simple and sweet. The breakfast bowl had some really nice simple flavours as well, and was very light but also filling. Coffees were good, but the glassware may cause them to cool rather quickly (the ceramic cups also cool fairly quickly). Overall this was a nice place and had some good vibes. There are many smaller options as well, which we will definitely have to try the next time we are around.

This place is just the best. The sandwiches and goodies are so unbelievably amazing, always friendly service and always happening with people, conveniently located steps from my office. I’m here 2-3 days per week, it’s perfect!

Excellent food! Always fresh and delightful combinations. Local with a great atmosphere, the design is eclectic and perfectly Instagrammable. I always end up ordering their special and it's never steered me wrong, from eggs Benedict to an open face sandwich it is reliably delicious. The salted caramel cake is everything cake should be: moist, rich, not too much icing, and full of flavor and indulgence.

We ordered ginger French toast and pesto grill cheese sandwich and both were very good. Excellent service and very welcoming staff! Will definitely visit again.

Came for brunch, food was good, but for $12 maybe something of a side would be nice with the beef dip sandwich (which was good even on its own).

Locating is great, close proximity to the legislature grounds and to the tram stop (when it's running) and the food was brought out pretty quick too.

Patio area could have a couple planters around it to make it a bit more of a cozy outdoor feel, inside is nice with a nice decor.

Nice, busy cafe with a high ceiling. Lots of people working on laptops, though unfortunately, no outlets found. Had a great iced vanilla latte though!

District Cafe’s baked goods are great! They have selections of croissant, bagels, scones, muffins, cookies, cinnamon buns. They also have menu for breakfast and light lunch.

With regards to coffee, they use beans from Bows & Arrows Roasters for their espresso. They also sell coffee from local Alberta roasters such as Rogue Wave and Monogram! (But they also bring coffee from other provinces on occasion)!

District has the best scones and cinnamon buns in Edmonton. I personally love their chai and lattes. They recently renovated and really expanded their location - It looks fantastic and has so much more seating! They've also extended their hours and menu offerings. They have a limited supply of baking/sandwiches so go a bit earlier to avoid the lunch rush and possibly missing out on what you wanted to get. If you sit down to eat, they will bring you complementary water and bring your food/drinks right to you once they're ready.

Great place! And great location! Don't be discouraged by lack of menu choices - it's always better to have 5 delicious options vs. 10 so-so. This is exactly the case - cheese platter was amazing! All cheeses and meats were selected perfectly and complemented each other. Orange scone was also great. Although would be nice to have bigger pastry selection. Will be coming back here for sure!

UPDATE: Sunday breakfast was definitely a good decision. Their waffle benny... omg! So delicious! It comes with salad on the side with perfect dressing that compliments the sweetness of the waffles and the taste of poached eggs... Perfect balance of flavours in your mouth!

And from now on I am officially a huge fan of their scones - white chocolate raspberry scone was the best choice to have afternoon tea with! Still hunting on their rhubarb pecan muffin - was not available today - gotta be good =)
