The Sherlock Holmes Pub Downtown

Came here for some very late night eats and it did not disappoint. My favorite was the Spring Rolls - large portion of rather big crispy deliciousness. The salt and pepper wings were very flavorful and the nachos were good, but could have used more cheese.

Firstly the staff here is very nice so you will definitely enjoy the place. I visited twice - first to eat something quickly and found Vegan burger with fries but there are many options with meat.

Later in the evening during open house for singing. You need to register early to do that and may be need to pay some sum. The bar is full with drink options so great place for people who want to enjoy their drink.

The place is accessible and very nicely designed.

What a fun place, they do a great job imitating an old English pub. I had a scotch egg to start and the fish and chips. Service was friendly and the food was good, prices where very reasonable. Plus they had live music tonight which was great.

Visiting out of town from Winnipeg. We are big in the food scene and the burger from here with the mushrooms in it, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Absolutely keep it up! Will visit again. I added a photo because I can’t recall the name of it’

Had a great time celebrating my father’s 88th birthday with family. Great food and service with a wonderful British vibe pub feel. Highly recommend this pub.

Came here for Tunesday Open Mic - wow, what a delightful vibe! Ben was the host for the night and MY GOODNESS is he a package of talent or WHAT. Our lovely server kept us well hydrated and cared for, and the veggie spring rolls were delicious. It felt so nice to be a part of a friendly pub crowd - we all left with some new friends in our contacts 😎

My friends and family took me to Sherlock Holmes for my birthday and brought back so much memories from hanging out and singing along with the piano man! Love this pub and love the atmosphere.
Food was delicious and drinks were even better!
We ordered the Sheppard's Pie, Chicken Fingers, Chip n Dip, Dry Ribs, Chicken Wings and the 1/4 pound cookie with vanilla ice cream! I didn't take pictures of the food because everyone was excited and hungry 😂
The Oilers hockey game was on and the entertainment was super awesome, so excitement was in the air!!

This iconic British Pub serves well to those with easy access to Edmonton downtown with an extensive menu for food and drinks..soon to become a local given that the owner is supporting and raising funds for ovarian cancer! Friendly staff with excellent service..Bravo..

Great ambiance, great food, great beer. This Pub has been here for many years and has always been popular. It’s tucked away on Rice Howard Way and can easily be missed, but don’t miss it as is it is a great experience. I would recommend coming here for good food and drinks. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy.

Took your advice and came back on Saturday watched the Oilers game. Had a pound of hot wings and some drinks the waitress was fantastic and the bartender was into the game also which contributed to a great atmosphere. Wings were delicious so I decided to return for the Toronto game and had a few more drinks which were very well made the waitress Sierra was terrific. Thanks for another great experience. Cheers.

What a great place to come with friends at the end of a long day of work! It looks unique amongst the skyscrapers downtown and certainly lives up to the unique look on the outside when you sit down on their expansive patio.
It is a more relaxed and casual atmosphere here than across the street street at Craft. The variety of drinks and food is great. We had already eaten dinner elsewhere before coming here but still enjoyed some great nachos that had cheese and toppings throughout the chips, not just on the top chips.
The waitress was really on top of everything and friendly too.
After the sun sets the lights come on and the ambience is even better.
It would be a pleasure to come back again and hopefully try the Shepard's Pie.

So much fun and a great place to eat. Sit and enjoy local hospitality combined with local talent. The service was wonderful and the entertainment was fantastic. What a treat. I recommend you check out Sherlock’s on Thursday nights. What a great night.#supportlocal

This place is really fun to go to after a day downtown. The staff has always been really friendly and quick to get to our order in. The atmosphere is very chill and fun. If you like pub food and sports definitely check it out! The food is great and you get a lot for what you pay. I can't say what the alcoholic drinks are like as I don't drink but from I've never heard my friends complain about them.

This pub is really fantastic, and in a very cool and unique spot surrounded by downtown but seems to be stuck in the past and not moving on with the times, surrounded by skyscrapers. The food is great, lots of beer on tap, and the service is always friendly! I love the patio here on a beautiful day.

Went for dinner after a movie. Our server was very friendly and chatted with us for a bit.
Daily special was $14 burgers. So even with a side upgrade to French onion soup, it was less than a regular burger.
Tried a cider I'd never heard of, was quite good. Sweet.

First time visit on a friend's recommendation. Had a blast, food was good. Great way to spend an evening.

An absolutely charming little pub in the heart of Edmonton. We were met by a lovely atmosphere as soon as entered the place and our bartender/waitress was the sweetest!

Great long term pub in the downtown core. There was really good live music, food was it's typical great - had the steak 😋...was delicious, service was attentive and quick to bring a drink 🍸 can't go wrong with this pub.

I am in Edmonton once a month for work and this is my go to pub. Julia and David are awesome bartenders and great to talk to. Reasonably priced, never had a bad meal here and a great location too. The pub is full of character and it’s always a fun time. Would definitely recommend. See you in October!
