Great food, I recommend the crostinis. Service is awesome and the ambience is always great. Perfect spot for a semi casual night out.

Came here after a show. Delish mini burgers with to DIE for bacon jam! So tasty and hit the spot!
Our server was friendly and fun - really made our visit a great experience.
So nice to have Innis & Gun beer (one of our faves) too.
Kitchen closes at 11pm so plan accordingly.

Red Star is all chill vibes, great drinks, friendly service and tasty bites. Laid back downtown atmosphere and clean. No drama.

Speakeasy vibes, cool environment if you can get a seat. It was so busy when I was there, shoulder to shoulder packed.

The bartender was very kind and gave us some good recommendations. It is a well stocked pub with some great drinks.

Pubs have a timeless transcendence to their lustre, and this place puts the memories back where they should be. The drinks keep coming and the smiles keep growing, the atmosphere was lively, staff was attentive and all was as it should've been. Enjoyed it a lot.

Coffee shop during the day. Nice. Decent prices and fresh baked scones Still warm from the oven.

Great place to grab drinks with friends after work or perhaps a second date... Not the first date because it's slightly to loud for an intimate convo. The mixed drinks are small but tasty and strong. And you can't beat the location.

Big fan. Grilled Cheese and Pembina Pork will never get old. Staff and music are consistently awesome. Highly recommend!

This place has had an upgrade since I had been there last. Not that I didn't like it before, but it has been classed up a bit, it's in basement level which gives a cool vibe, the cocktails are fantastic, and the bartender was top notch. If you're in the Edmonton downtown area I think it's a must check out.

Just came for drinks and the vibe was great. Good music and not so loud you can't have a conversation! Drinks were delicious, will definitely be back!

My favourite bar in Edmonton, stopped here last night after a show at The Starlite Room, and was very well taken care of by bartender Renee! All the staff were lovely though, good selection of spirits and beer, intimate atmosphere but not claustrophobic. A local gem hiding in plain sight on Jasper Ave.

Menu is simple, but the food is excellent quality. Can't get enough of the Pork Crostini in particular, but everything we've tried is delicious. Staff are friendly yet professional, with a great knowledge of the food and drink options.
Bonus is that they've finally managed to open a patio.

We arrived around 6 pm yesterday and were greeted by Stella at the front door. She offered to take us to their "super secret patio" and we agreed. Up the stairs and to the right was a cute, private patio. Our high top table was a bit wobbly so, Stella offered for us to switch tables. We had wine and the chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. All the staff were friendly and helped one another. Stella was by far one of the best servers I've ever had. She was genuine and hilarious. What a great experience. Thank you!

Local hidden gem. Friendliest staff. Small menu for food, which doesn't matter because all bases are covered and every option is a banger. I would say this place is almost too cool for a dirt like me but it's so unpretentious, that I've never felt out of place. You want to chill out in good company and easy going vibes? This is the spot.

Best downtown bar with great specials and the best carpaccio in town.

One of my favourite spots in all of Edmonton. Happened to randomly come into this place before a concert at the Bower last year and I'm so glad I did. The staff (especially Kenna) are so friendly, kind, and great. The vibe in Red Star is maybe the best in all of Edmonton. I can't wait to come back again!
