I love the warm water and weather. The sand is not the best but the area is great for kids to play.

If you are ever in this area, try a few beach, because they are all very different, from sandy to rocky.

Plenty of fishing; cod, sea bass, mackerel, sole, etc... and viewing; whales dolphins, seagulls, ducks, and much more. Sandy beaches in the Beresford and Bathurst area with in the south and the entire East coast with excellent water sport activities. Great place to visit and eat seafood.

Breathtakingly beautiful from both Québec and New Brunswick, the Bay of Chaleur is one of the area's must-see attractions. We love to spend hot summer days swimming at the beaches of Grande-Anse, a half-hour drive out of Bathurst or Caraquet.
