Shady Tree

What an absolute jem. It's become a staple for us on return journeys to Whistler. So good to get out of the Whistler crowds and come to this gorgeous spot. All the staff are friendly, fun and hard working.

Excellent range of local and international beers on tap at good prices.

Pool, darts, and plenty of sports screens.

Seperate quieter area for families or large groups.

Unique and diverse range of ornaments and decorations collected with care over a very long time.

A wide selection of tasty food for vegetarians and omnivores alike. (The fish & chips are even good enough to impress a kiwi)

Basically just a perfect BC pub vibe thats made it the best place to stop in Squamish hands down.

I am from Ontario, came last week to British Columbia. We saw this restaurant right beside the highway and thought to stop by for an early supper. To our surprise I had one of the most delicious ribs in years and also the fish and chips very crispy outside and soft inside. Perfectly cooked & served.
Thank you to the chef who did an amazing job! I wish to visit again the next time I’ll travel to the west.

There is nothing I crave more after a long hard hike than a cold (well priced) beer and the sensational homemade lasagna that the Shady Tree plates up! We try and stop in every chance we get. Yum!!

I have always had a great experience at Shady Tree, and our last visit was no exception! We went to Shady Tree for my partner's 30th birthday this past Monday, and had a great time. Our server was AMAZING - so friendly, personable, and made sure we had everything we needed. She even made room in the freezer for the icecream cake we brought AND provided plates for us to use. This past visit (and every visit before) is why Shady Tree is a regular dinner spot for us!

The food was amazing, the Tomato basil soup was fantastic. The salmon and chicken burgers were delicious.

Perfect stop between Vancouver and Whistler. Good food. Generous poured drinks. Relaxing vibe. Fast service. Clean. Pool table & darts too!

I have been going to The Shady Tree for years! The owner is very nice and friendly, there is a free pool table, great views of the mountains that surround squamish (mount Garibaldi among other mountains), good music, great food which includes but not limited to a fish and Chips (with good fries!) Burgers, and tasty appies. It's a fun place to bring a date or your wife for a fun evening.

The chef was AMAZING.
My son and boyfriend loved their Reubens sandwiches and fries. They were HUGE. My steak sandwich was so good, cooked to perfection. Our server was so kind and patient. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Great taste of music! Food came super fast and the waitress was extremely friendly. Try the Bison Burger, never had one before but I would order it again.

We spotted them on our way to Whistler and went out of our way to find them on our way back. Excellent service and a great price. Oh and the food was great. Would go again but back to London soon.

Rode🏍Up The Sea To Sky Hwy on a Sunny & Warm January Day for a late lunch and wasn't disappointed! The Wild Grilled Salmon Burger was excellent and the server, Adria, made it most enjoyable. Thank You!

Laid back ambiance. Love the indoor patio surrounded by windows, many of which open wide for fresh air dining when the weather is right. The salmon burger, bison burger, chicken with Brie burger, and side salads were all great. Great food with locally sourced ingredients. Delicious and well priced. Great local draft beer selection as well.

I love this place hands down one of my favorite foodies place. I live in Maple Ridge BC and love the drive for this atmosphere.

Simply said, Hailey was amazing. So charming and professional at the same time. On point, fast and efficient. Such a beautiful soul. Would be back 100%.
