Didn’t have time to do the tour but the site looked very interesting, showing some history about the dried cod industry in Gaspe region.

There is an excellent fish market nearby, offering a great selection of local seafood and fresh lobsters.

The history of the place was great, the people were very helpful with directing us.
The big building however was amazing from a post and beam perspective and heritage status too.
Loved it

I really like old tools and experiment what it was like in the early years...better understanding how tasks are simpler nowadays

This was a cool place to visit. There were not many people as it was nearing end of summer. Perfect for touring the site and spending time to view each building.
The buildings are well maintained despite how old they are. Lots of history information about the Robins company. It was cool to see how the blacksmith makes his nails from iron ore utilising the technique from that era. Very cool as well to visit the carpenter shop and learn how they made boats back then, really enjoyed that.
The gift shop has a bit of everything, the staff are very friendly and most speak English.
I would love to go back, it's like a step back in time!

Loved this place, lots of history and beautiful view. The entry fee was $26.00 for a family of 4. But it was worth it, learned so much. We met Devon very knowledgeable and great guy. We had a great time. Glad we went. Totally recommend it. Lots of parking space for campers.

Learning the history of the salt cod industry was certainly eye opening. The animators were wonderful - generous with their humour and information. Definitely worth the visit.

Awesome display of the hard fishing life from days of old. This sit holds the oldest and largest self standing wood building in North America.
