If you’re an Indian or an Asian with a Walmart discount card, there is no other place for you to shop than this 🧨

PROs -

1. Great location. Very convenient even without private transport(car). Located very close to the Namur metro station makes it all the more convenient apart from the fact that it is itself situated at the heart of a very busy locality.

2. This Walmart is fine tuned for Indians and east Asians living around the area in particular. A wide array of culinary products back from home to choose from, is available at this Walmart which isn’t available at other Walmarts (e.g - the packaged foods of Ashoka is only found here)

3. Very attractive pricing - e.g - Ashoka products taste really great, better than MTR and at par with GIT, yet they are priced at 2.57$(50c lesser than other products as well as Indian stores)

The combo shown in the photos would cost upwards of 35$ for a single person if dined out. Got this for approx 7$

4. Great product range

CONs -

1. During peak hours, product availability might be a problem as shelves become empty very quickly.

2. The queue at the billing counter might worry some people but this is not a problem if you are comfortable with self scanning and billing which is always free with no wait time & minimal interaction.

I am giving 5 stars to my Princess working in the customer service at this Walmart! She is very kind, sweet, and smart lady. Few days ago, she helped me out with returning my clothes and addressing my complaints about their receipts. She solved it with no problem. Plus, she has a very cute smile that made my day. Thank you!!!

This Walmart has significantly improved. The inventory is considerable. It much more spacious than before.

Probably the best experience of my life so far I wished it could be always great like this! Thanks Walmart!
You have to read this happen today so here we go :

I never got my order so contact customer service chat services to report the issue, they then advised me to contact them by phone so I did!
I explained I never got the order but that the status of my order was saying delivered.
Then customer service agent told me they are sorry about that and that they will be sending a new driver to deliver my groceries and to wait 1h!

I waited 1h to my surprise the new drive delivered me 1 ITEM only out of 32 items only 1 so I was really shocked and ask the delivery guy where is they rest of my groceries this is impossible he then told me that’s all and that he double check at Walmart with an employee and ask the employee to double check and to make sure that this was all the order since only 1 item was kinda illogical for him as an order.

The Walmart employees confirmed that was all only one item so the driver told me call Walmart again because they do this type of mistakes all the time so I call customer service one more time.

Note that it was a few hours after Walmart app said apparently that the order was delivered clearly a big lie or mistake how ever you want see it.

Calling customers service providing the order number for the 3rd time and explaining the issue the agent told me she would call the store to confirm once more after waiting on hold the agent told me sorry nobody is picking up the line and that I should get my order in an other 30 minutes and if not call back so basically sorry but not sorry and to my opinion felt like trying to buy some time in order to say sorry nothing we could do it’s to late to deliver at this time so I try to make sure that I could possibly get my order in 30min the agent said yes wish was again a lie!

So guess what still no order so since I never got my order thinking ok this time let me call back the customer service again but let me choose the English options since the two first time I call and chooses français.

Once more calling customer service providing the same info for the 4th time and explaining everything even the call I previously made!

I hoped this was the last call and that I will finally get my order so the agent called the store and apparently got transferred to a non English speaker and couldn’t communicate with them!

Really it’s 2023 and we are still dealing with language barriers from the same company Walmart!

The agent then told me we couldn’t deliver your groceries that you payed for because of policy and that the delivery time for that store is finished then they offered a full refund but with the condition that I will have to wait 5 business day for a refund meanwhile my money sits in a Walmart corporate account making god’s knows what!

Here I am waiting for refund that will take 5 business day no groceries no food waited patiently and communicate calmly and patiently with employee with respect of the fact that this was not their fault.

Moral of the story don’t depend on companies they don’t care about how you feel and your reviews for all we know we are just numbers to them!

The store is well prepared and organized for dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Entrance and exit to store were separated by metal dividers. The main passages in the store were made unidirectional. Customers were separated by marks on the floor for distancing during checkout. Staff members were friendly and all on the ball.

This is the first time we visited Walmart Supercentre as we're new to Montreal so this review is based on our first impressions.

The location is pretty good and accessible through public transport.

1. Accessible by metro as its close to Namur metro station

2. They have a halal meat section and stock both Zabiha & Mina brands of chicken

3. There are two aisles dedicated to food that is used in Indian/South East Asian & Midlle Eastern cuisine

4. The bakery section has eggless cakes etc. & naans available too

The great thing was that they cater to a wide mix of diaspora.

Their staff were very helpful and polite when asked for help.

The only downside was the fact that they had one person checking everyone's trolley and receipt which makes no sense when they have sensors placed at exits. This caused unnecessary delay and people queueing up for no reason.

Huge store, different layout. Ample free parking.

They have anything you might need, and the store is well organized. The parking lot has much space & many other stores are around walmart.

This review is to highlight Rita, who exemplified personability, and excellent customer service. She handled my request while treating me in a way, which felt like I mattered. This despite the amount of customers, and the various levels of complexities that come with the requests; and issues arising on a daily basis. Thank you again!

Part two of this review is to highlight Meher (also in customer service) who handled everything that needed to be done with both fluidity and efficiency. What a great smile and positive attitude.

Kudos to both of these standout team members. Keep up the good work and show everyone how well things can be done.

Im giving out 5 stars for Fateema working at the grocery pick up! Lovely lady, quick and efficient and also nice. Couldn’t find my tracking number but she helped me finding my order without any hassle!

Good prices and variety of products and services.

New improved and expanded. The car Centre is closed. Modified to delivery area. I ordered online a blood pressure monitor at 5:00 pm for local in-store pick up, it was ready the next day morning at 8:00 AM, which was pretty fast. Because the item was not in store they had to bring it from a nearby warehouse.
That is great service.

Like all Walmart, there are options for all tastes, in particular I visit this one due to its proximity to the metro station

Amazing in terms of everything. Walmart is my favorite shop because it offers a good mix of price and quality. The deals here are numerous and always incredible. In short, if you want to save money, shop here.

Had a friendly experience but I m not satisfied by the self check out. To tske out everything then reput everything back..so much hassles..I have been avoiding Walmart since this checkouts came out. It's very depressing and sad. No one to welcome you when u go to the counters and the people at the check out place look at you like u r about to steal something..if you guys are so annoyed by us then just get rid of them snd replace by cashiers..atleast it was done faster, big lineups now.

Lots of low price items which keeps walmart infront of the competition.
Cashiers are quick and friendly.
Every employee i saw had a mask and was keeping a safe distance.
Instructions on the floor to show which direction to go and keep a safe distance from other shoppers.

Best Walmart ever! Hires knowledgeable staff who believe and trust in science!

I went to the Walmart looking for a couple of items and bingo! And their polysporin clone is so inexpensive I was blown away! Even found a very comfy pair of good looking but casual shoes that actually looked high quality and felt the same. The entire Walmart was well lit and superiorly and organized and everything in its place. Although it was pretty empty in the mid-afternoon of Wednesday March 9th 2022. Very impressed with them announcing about every 20 minutes for all the workers to clean their plexiglass and all their countertops at the cash etc. Very diligent and smart. And they got rid of their fake guns and but they don't even have folding pocket knives any longer so I couldn't add to my collection. The polysporin knock off had multiple variations and choices and after trying ordering and many shoes from Amazon, getting fit at Walmart was a big surprise. I have floppy flat feet that spread wide when I step down. And I found a pair that has non-slip texture with a good looking upper body and great foamy insert. Immediately comfortable and no problems about bending as many cheaper Chinese made shoes seem to do, except for the higher end sneakers.
Very positive experience although the store was quite empty but super clean and very well organized and a staff membered Walmart was super helpful as I ran into her two more times after I spoke to her once. How lucky is that?

Huge hypermarket. Wide choice of food, drugs, apparel, and other stuff.

As often, I appreciated my visit to Walmart today. Everything looked clean and organised. A young employee, Tishawna, noticed me with a few items in my hands and spontaneously offered to get a cart for me. It is serious and devoted staff members like her who make me want to shop at Walmart on a weekly basis. I’ll be back.
