A charming, old fashioned ski hill with some challenging runs, some easy runs and lots of Glades. We had excellent snow conditions when we went last week. The staff were friendly and we were shown around the mountain by Lynn and Linda, the local snow hosts, or E ambassadors. These women were great, funny and knowledgeable. They showed us both sides of the mountain, through some glades and acquainted us with the mountain. 5 stars to Lynn and Linda! We had a great time at Sutton.

Despite the mild winter the ski conditions have been outstanding thanks to a very dedicated grooming team. Mother Nature has not been kind to folks that love winter but Mont Sutton has made it possible to enjoy skiing on plenty of well groomed runs. BRAVO!

First time here but it won't be the last. The conditions of the mountain was far exceeding our expectations considering what the 2024 season has wrought. You can tell they really take care of their runs with lots of snow guns that I can only assume run all night. There is no night skiing. Once the fog had lifted we headed to the highest point where all the blacks and double plus blacks are and we could see that the terrain would provide great fun and challenges. Lots of glade runs will be attempted next year (hopefully) but this year we mostly stayed on piste due to the icey hard pack off piste. All that said, it has a small mountain feel with great runs, at a good price, with people who care more about hitting the slopes and providing a good time. Also, there's a terrific Churro truck as you leave and the smell of FRESH churros will definitely capture you as you head to your car.

We came for the zip lining and did both the giant and the roller coaster, with lunch at the food truck between.
All of the technicians and everyone involved were friendly, reassuring and clear in their instructions in both English and French. The gear was strong and secure.
Each of the 2 ziplines was exciting in it's own way. The giant for its length because the first section is a whole kilometer long, so that first step off the platform seems incredible. Second section is 400 meters, which seems easy at that point. The roller coaster that we did in the afternoon is the only one of its kind in North America.
The day was pretty pricey, but considering all of the people and gear that's involved, it's kind of understandable.

Yesterday(2/19/24) our multiple-family group skied Mont Sutton for the first time. We are hearty, experienced skiers who normally ski larger, resort-type mountains in Vermont and Maine. Getting to the point - Sutton offered us a free guide(Yves) who was outstanding showing us the whole mountain and the best places to get the 8" of fresh powder they got the night before. While the regulars said it was busier than normal, the mountain easily handled the volume with not a single lift line ALL DAY, which for the states is unheard of. Eastern Township skiing is the best!

Great hill for skiing or snowboarding. The runs are fairly narrow and in the trees so it feels like your are in the woods. Also a great part of the hill is the lines are not very long to get onto the lift. Especially the side lifts that aren’t at the mail entrance. Worth the trip and very affordable.

Hidden gem. Great glades. No major hotels but lots of small places to stay close by. Good little town nearby. Great option to save some money compared to Tremblant two hours closer (from the west) than St. Anne or Le Massif and a short hop across the border to Jay Peak, VT.

Great and not super busy!

We went at the end of March for some spring skiing and had a day of mud and rain and then a day of fresh powder that quickly turned to slush but it was wonderful! The hill has tons of potential and it’s decently spread out so you can easily avoid other people.

The lifts are a little old but all the staff are friendly and they even encouraged us to do another run 3 minutes before the lift closed. There is parking about halfway up the mountain which is great if you don’t want to start at the base.

There’s also a nice chalet with a great little 2nd floor patio.

The lift tickets and rentals were pretty reasonable especially when compared to tremblant or other more mainstream resorts.

Great spot!

Very nice mountain with great views, I really enjoyed my time skiing there! I find that some of the runs are slightly more narrow than in other places, with more trees, which feels more "natur-ey".

Lots of great skiing/snowboarding trails, but if it's your first time skiing, I would suggest going to a different hill (there aren't that many green trails!)

Definitely plan to get there ahead of time (lack of parking and wait time to get your ticket!)

What a lovely community! People are so helpful, welcoming and friendly. While I speak enough French to communicate on vacation, staff at Mont Sutton were more than willing to speak English. I especially appreciated how kind and patient the ski lift staff were in making sure people got on and off safely. Bravo et merci.

Absolutely beautiful mountain. Recommend going to ski or snowboard there it is amazing.

As an expert skier, the views took my breath away and the slopes were just so nice and challenging. Almost every slope is a black diamond or higher. There were multiple double diamond or triple diamond. If you're an advanced skier, I highly recommend Sutton. If you like to be immersed in nature with trees all around, just go to Sutton it really is an amazing experience!

For beginners I would not recommend to go there to learn how to ski for the first time. However, it is a beautiful mountain with many slopes so if you are going with friends that are better at ski than you are, you can still go to sutton if you really want to or wait till you get better. There are some "green circle" slopes but the "easy" slopes can be considered as medium level or blue square level slopes. So, unless you are accompanied with intermediate level skiers, I would not recommend beginners to go alone, you will definitely have some trouble.

It is an amazing mountain with spectacular views !

Beautiful trails ever. Weather was not that great when we skied as we had too much snow during the day. However, it has definitely the most charming and beautiful scenery throughout the mountain. Enjoyed ski so much there.

Went to the open mic Thursday at the Bar Tucker, located top floor of the main chalet.
The host Pasquinel does an amazing job. I really enjoyed listening to the local talent 👏 every Thursday from 4 to 7

Fantastic ski resort. It's big, and you don't get bored. Only thing is that the ski slopes are kind of not rated properly. Some blues feel like greens and vice versa. Also, the mountain has a ton of blacks and blues so it's more for intermediate skiers and above.

Beautiful place, I strongly recommend to go, you can practice biking or walking, I enjoined walking, there are different routes with levels of difficulty, but the thing that I loved the most was de was the lakes and the water sources it, was very pleasant to take a little shower after having walked for 3 hours.

Enjoyed a walk in the woods to the falls. The trail is well marked and the rest of the guests on the trail were respectful and kept their distance. If you want to cool off at the falls be prepared to enjoy a dip in a small pool with a rocky bottom. Not sure if I would drink the water however.

Great ski resort for intermediate to advanced skiers/riders. Very woodsy, old school feel to it. The one downside is the cost of a lift ticket, which feels hefty for a mountain of this size, though I can’t knock them for it (and won’t, see the 5 stars) since most hills are priced this way these days. Worth a trip!

Mont Sutton is a wonderful Mountain with a rustic atmosphere. If you are looking for a luxury chalet experience Sutton is not the place to go. If you're looking to get out and enjoy the beautiful Quebec wilderness with incredible Glades and runs surrounded by immense natural beauty Sutton provides all of that and more. One note, grooming at Sutton is very menial and most of the runs don't have snow makers.

Great place to visit for camping and hiking. Resort operators provide firewood, drinking water, and washrooms for mountaintop campers.
Best time to visit is late summer to early fall. Wake up early and go see the sunrise from Round Top.

Try to visit late summer or early fall just after the summer high season.
