A wonderful addition to the Strom spas! I have to say after reading some reviews (after I booked for Saint Sauveur) I was really dreading my visit. However upon arrival I could breath a sigh of relief. First off the staff, from start to finish, where incredible, they were so helpful, kind and truly offered excellent customer service. Second there were way more amenities then I was expecting (multiple saunas, cold and hot baths, relaxation rooms etc.) after reading the reviews, not to mention that the facilities where very clean! We booked on a Saturday and were pleased to find that we often where the only ones using a sauna, pool or relaxation room. We did find the cafe to be a bit limited, but I know they're building an additional restaurant in February/March time, and we were so excited to find that they're going to be adding a room with infrared chairs like Mt Saint Hilaire. Really a great visit, someone said you can hear the traffic, but you can't, the rushing river is the soundtrack of this spa.

My 1st time at Strom Spa nordique at Saint Sauveur. We had an amazing experience. Perfect weather in the winter.
I enjoy the quiet & clean environment. The view is extremely beautiful and all staff are friendly and professional! I just wanna stay there the whole day!! Food at the cafe are great too...thanks to our Chef!! Add points to the changing rooms coz it is clean with good smell shampoo n shower gel. They even have both hair dryer and heat clip. I will definitely recommend to anyone who come to Montréal. Can't wait for the restaurant open and we will come again!

Well I must admit when I noticed that were very close to the 15N highway I was oh we get to listen to the big trucks hitting there brakes as they come across the bridge.
I did notice when being by the fire you do hear a bit of the highway but once your inside you don't hear anything, I did enjoy sitting in the tent at the far back by the bridge you just here the river and enjoy the moment.
It's really nice to see that they have a wood fire sauna amazing heat at 92C I was really enjoying this, you do have river access but you need to be careful.
They also have another wonderfull sauna tranditional sauna that was being run very hot and no need to use water there was also signs asking not to add water over the stones.
The hot tubs are at a good temperature as well all in all a wonderfull experience look forward to going back.
I did asvise the reception that, we been to Nuns island and Mont St Hilarie and by far they have the hottest sauna and hot tubs.

Came on a cooler June day with a little rain in the forecast but that didn't take away from my amazing experience. Spent 4 hours there indulging in everything they had to offer. I prefer a quieter experience, so I only used amenities on the side where they discourage talking. Everything was well kept and extremely enjoyable. Did my cold plunge by swimming in the river which was a signature experience offered here and something I will miss during future spa trips in other locations. People have complained that you can see/hear a road but I didn't find it noticeable at all. If there is any noise, it combines with the ambient music/sounds they play and the white noise created by the river flowing. Also had a massage with Max who was very attentive and used just the right amount of pressure. I felt amazing afterwards. The other staff I interacted with were also courteous and professional.
A few things I didn't enjoy... ordered a latte in the bistro and it was the worst cup of coffee I have had in a long time. Worse than the machine in the coffee station at the office. I was very disappointed and didn't end up drinking much of it. Also found the system they have with robes and towels to be a little inconvenient. You have to pay extra to use a robe, fine, but they get soaked quickly and you can't exchange them. Same with the 2 towels they provide, which aren't enough to use during your bath time and then your shower before leaving. You also need to take those wet items all the way back to the reception area for drop off - while dressed back in your street clothes - which is odd. They should have the drop zone for the towels in the building with the change rooms so guests don't have to slog them all the way to the other end of the spa. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I plan to repeat again and I highly recommend coming on your own or with friends.

We came to unwind after a long day of skiing. It was fabulous!
We enjoyed all the baths and saunas. Relaxation rooms were so peaceful, and tea stations are thoughtful. Front desk was friendly and inviting.
Our only complaint was that the cafe turned us away at 7:20pm (closed early) and we had to leave earlier than planned as we were hungry, but still stayed until 9:00 to enjoy the spa. Additional water stations would be a great add to the facilities.

Great place to spend the day and relax. The place is well maintained but my personal highlight would be the bistro that I found amazing. The salmon tatar was just so fresh and well balanced with everything else on the plate. The cheese board portions were amazing as well and the chef was super nice. I think the bistro had superior food than most restaurant and the prices were more than reasonable! A must try if you spend the day there!

Multiple areas for saunas, cold dips, and resting. The fires were always stocked. Staff were courteous. Very reasonably priced.

We are regular nordic spa goers and this place is top notch. The staff is friendly and efficient and they and working hard to keep the premises clean and to ensure everything is running smoothly.

We had a couples massage scheduled at 11:30 but we arrived ar 10:30 to enjoy the baths. After the massage (which was outstanding), we had lunch and coffee at the bistro.

We then enjoyed the baths for the rest of the afternoon but the place got crowded so in retrospect it would probably be better to book the massage in the afternoon to have a quieter time at the baths.

Access to the bath is included with the massage so this a really good deal.

Truly an amazing experience! Staff are lovely and accommodating. The architecture is stunning and very modernistic. Such a calm and relaxing environment/aura. Would definitely go back. I recommend going to the steam room and then try a cold plunge, it's as if you will grow a 3rd lung. I've never felt as refreshed!

We went on the last official day of Polar, as we were leaving the staff was changing the branding to strom. Regardless of the brand, it's a beautiful spot not too far from home to go and unwind but far enough to make it feel like you are up north. The section across the river wasn't opened yet.

Former Polar Bear Spa is being transformed within Støm aesthetic. While there seems to be a bit of reconstruction ahead, the location and the layout are really what makes this place seem not so crowded. Impatient to see what this place has to offer when all facilities are updated. The restaurant menu deserves a special mention - delicious!, although the actual dining room needs a bit more thought in terms of ambiance.

Great space. Very clean. Temperature therapy is great for the body. In the winter the river is actually bone shaking which is super nice! Pricy entry, I'd recommend after 17h00 with your own bathrobe which makes it a 50$ worthy evening. Don't expect however to be able to read a book.

We had a very nice and calming stay. The hot pools felt very renewing after a cold dip in the river. Great aromatics wafted through all of the facilities.
