Bob was not only fantastic at his job but very knowledgeable. He was able to get my buddy and I diving being relative amateurs at this sport. We had a great time diving the Dive Park at Bonnie Castle. Highly recommended. Thanks again Bob! You have our business.

We recently did a family trip to the 1000 Islands for a staycation and Andrew and Bob organized some great diving. Bob was a great guide and while viz was poor, we all felt comfortable with Bob and his direction. Their shop carries lots of great gear and their fill station is first class. I look forward to returning hopefully in the fall!

Got to meet Bob this week. Class act , real diver, and a quality human being. Can do banked Nitrox fills quickly, took care of our rebreather diver as well. Bob was accommodating and met all of our diving needs. Highly recommend. And he has the coolest dog.

Bob was great! I brought in my BCD to show him what used equipment I had and he took great care of me. Also, my regulator was was still being serviced and he rented me just the regulator. Highly recommend this shop to any diver going to St. Lawrence river or A bay.

Absolutely top-notch dive shop and world class scuba instruction! Even if you just need tanks filled, I recommend you stop in to talk to these guys, they will help you find the best dive spots on the river and get you on track for a great experience. Me and my friend found “All About Scuba” while casually looking for a local St. Lawrence shop to get a basic scuba certification. I was a total beginner and my friend only had a few short dives with his buddies in the past. I spoke to Bob Sherwood, the owner, on the phone and explained what we were looking for, so he set up some lessons with Josh who is their NAUI open water trainer. Bob was very enthusiastic on the phone, which I thought was encouraging — but I had no idea he was a world-renowned diver and educator. Bob is one of the founding members of GUE, which is one of the most prestigious groups of elite divers and trainers in the world. Josh, a NAUI certified instructor, also has extensive dive experience/training, and is a former sky-diving instructor and a US Army combat veteran. Josh was an awesome teacher and dive buddy. He took as much time as we wanted or needed in learning. There were no stupid questions (and I have a tendency to ask a lot of questions). I always felt safe in the water, never pushed beyond what I could do. He really went above and beyond to take us from beginners to confident divers. Josh/Bob are going to train you, from day one, as if you will go on to be a high-level, technical diver. Even if you just want to dive at a basic recreational level, you are going to have better knowledge, confidence, gear set up and skills than just about any other open water class out there. We paid a set fee upfront for everything, which included all of our instruction and gear rental. We were not rushed through the class, but had individual attention to make sure we had the skills we needed before moving on. Bob was teaching a GUE level class through our training, but he always checked in with us and we frequently saw him on the water with his students. I could really tell he was genuinely interested in our progress and enjoyment. For me, that makes a big difference with something like this. The dive shop itself is small, but they have high-quality gear stocked and can get you anything you need for any level of diving. They also partner with a dive boat that can get you on a charter if you’re interested. I’m looking forward to taking a Nitrox class next season, and getting into more advanced diving. You’ll see me there in 2020.
