NO REGRETS - one of the best places you can camp in peace and comfortable. Flush toilets are down due to winter damage but vault toilets are tidy and easily reached. Sites vary but you’ll almost always have a good buffer of privacy but even those that are ‘hugging’ areas are maintained and I can’t tell you how quiet it is! Lovely and great place to fish! Lot of success stories from those we say pulling to shore, it’s great to explore we found a lake swing and fun little pockets of views. CAUTION this is cougar and bear country as mentioned from our host some evidence of cougar presence was found on trails. Exercise no trace left behind etiquette!!!! Keep protection nearby, deer were hugging the area daily saw probably a dozen in the 4 day stay - enjoy nature here! Husband and I had a blast hiking and relaxing ***Firewood sold on site for $10 a bundle.

Great place for swimming or using as a base to go hiking. The family and I love it, you are right on the shore, and you can get peak a boo views of Baker on one of the connecting trails between campgrounds.

10/10 a great place to get away

Tremendous campground. We stayed in early September and the water was cold but not so cold you couldn’t swim. Great spot for kayaking. Amazing views of the mountains, lots of wildlife, chipmunks and blue jays galore! Sites are large and mostly level with decent privacy. We stayed in site 19 and had amazing access to the lake though privacy suffered a bit because of the trails to the lake next to the site. Definitely could hear sounds of children and parents from the beach and campground all weekend, but largely had an amazing time.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!!
Came to scope out the camp 🏕 spots for camping this summer. The spots are relatively large. Several vault restrooms & water spigots through out the campgrounds. Mt. Baker lake is slowly filling up. By end of summer its going to be nice & full hopefully for swimming, kayaking & fishing that we plan on doing. The area was clean & kept up.

I loved this spot which I was lucky enough to scoop just a couple weeks in advance. There are no hookups and primitive toilets but for a short camp it wasn't an issue. There are spigots with running water.

The spot I lucked up on was south loop 27 which was very spacious and a short walk to the water and a peaceful overlook. The perfect spot to sit and watch a sunrise/sunset, have a drink, etc. The site had parking for one car, fire ring and grill grate. Plenty parking on the loop road for other cars if you need for your party.

The swimming area was pretty sizable and busy when we were there. There's no view of Baker from this campground. Mosquitos were out in force early July so pack that spray!

I did have LTE service via T-Mobile near the lake and an inconsistent signal at the campsite.

I haven't been to Baker Lake in years, and I was disappointed that the beach was practically nonexistent at Horseshoe Cove. This area used to have a huge beach and was beautiful. When we went, the beach was mostly dug up holes from the kids, and I actually fell in one trying not to step in someone's space. I have no plans to return.

So many trees in this campground! We originally had reserved one spot lake side but the slope would have been difficult to use for our camper. Fortunately there were quite a few other sites available and the camp host allowed us to change to a more suitable one. The sites closest to Baker Lake all are sloped where a trailer would be parked (north loop).

There are plenty of ccx trails that go to the lake without going through people's sites.

We only stayed one night. It was quiet and the bathroom was clean. We will come back.

I'm rating "Rooms" the actual camp spots. Well spaced sites, legitimately nice outhouses, very well maintained and don't smell like... yeah. Seriously beautiful site.

Nice campground, spacious sites with running water and flush toilets within close proximity. The lake is beautiful for swimming and water sports, and it's super easy to get to. Beware of mosquitoes, though; the campsites situated farther from the lake get less wind, which allows them to congregate in fairly large numbers. Bring bug repellant.

Amazing campground with direct access to the lake and many trails through the beautiful forest around here. I last went here in August 2019. Beware, there are many mosquitos though. The views of both Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan are beautiful.

Campsites are big and far from each other, provide good privacy. There is a good beach, we had nice swimming. Overall, very pleasant experience.

Great area for swimming sectioned off from other water traffic. An area for small float craft separated from boat traffic. Easy access boat launch. Ample parking. Many camp sites right there. Picnic tables. Beautiful views!

Very nice campground. Loved the running water nearby campsites and how close to the lake it is. Such a beautiful lake and clean, large camp sites, too. I will definitely be back!

Great campsite has sandy beach with a nice swimming area. There is a gravel boat launch near by. I camped here in August 2016 and the mosquitos were on full attack so pack lots of mosquito repellent.
