Hôtel St-Germain Rimouski

The stay was super pleasant despite the rainy weather we got in Rimouski. The location was perfect with so many eateries close by and the waterfront just a few steps away. We had the 6 floor room with a beautiful view of the boardwalk and could see the tides come in and go out. Overall, very much recommend the hotel. I wish we could stay another couple of days but the hotel was full and could nit accommodate us.

We enjoyed our overnight at Hotel St. Germain in Rimouski. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and modern. The multi-shower spouts (rain, waterfall, and horizontal jets) were great. We had a western view and watched a beautiful sunset. Stephane at reception was very helpful and great fun to speak with. His sunny disposition added to the ambiance of our stay. Con: The continental breakfast was okay but nothing special. If I had to pay extra for it, I would give it a definite pass and bring some cereal, yogurt and fruit to eat.

I really liked this hotel. The room was eclectic. There was a kitchenette (though we didn’t use it). Lots of places to eat nearby. The breakfast delivered in a treasure chest was excellent and we enjoyed it.

Is it a comfortable hotel? Yes. Does it have ample parking if you check in early enough? Yes. Does it have everything you need for a relaxing stay? Yes. Are the beds comfortable? Yes. Is the room spacious, bright and have a view of the river? Yes. Is it right next to the main street where all the restaurants are? Yes. Is the staff polite? Yes. But are they totally judgmental and pretentious? Oh hell yes.

Really surprised by this hotel! For the price it is, it really felt like a luxury high end hotel! Super friendly service with amazing amenities! Room served breakfast is also a plus! The location is super convenient with amazing view on the river! We would definitely come back again if ever we are in the region!

Fantastic room and very great staff. We called to let them know we would be quite late and they were very accommodating. Good location with indoor parking available, and right on the main road. Our room was on a corner with Windows on two sides looking at the river. We also had one with a jet tub room, and separate washroom with waterfall shower, glass sink, etc. All very modern.

Inspite of construction going on around the hotel....our stay was not disturbed in any way. The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. There was always good Italian coffee available in the lobby, and in the room, too. We would stay there again if we ever visit Rimouski.

I've stayed at a LOT of hotels in Atlantic Canada. This has to be in my top 3 if not my favourite. The rooms are super nice! Very modern and superb decor. The breakfast while maybe a bit low in protein if you don't like dairy, it does have amazing pastries and bread! The only negative is that they don't have a ton of rooms and it's often hard to get a room last minute because everyone wants to stay here!

Oh wow... and that's just for the shower! We had a top floor suite with incredible views across the St Lawrence River...very comfortable and spacious. Continental breakfast came each morning outside our door in a treasure chest... delicious and ample to get us through the day. Rimouski is an interesting place...and we found this hotel was perfect for a long stay. But do get instructions from the very helpful staff on the use of that shower...it's brilliant.

The perfect place, service and staff. Very recommended. The hotel is very clean, the location is perfect and the staff is extremely friendly. On the top of that we forgot our home keys there and the receptionist sent it to us by poste we received so fast. Amazing!!!!

Everything was simply perfect ! From the moment we reserved to the actual stay, all the Staff took extra care of Us. The venue is amazing and so clean (covid needed), the view is simply epic and on top of it all the Promenade to walk next to the St-Laurent river is only 1 minute away .. I'd highly recommand it to anyone passing thru this lovely town 😼🔥

Friendly staff and well equipped rooms (even with full kitchenettes). The only minus was a bit of construction (making it difficult to find the entrance), but there wasn't any noise.

The room we got (505) was outstanding, we couldn't believe we got it for this price. View to the river, huge room, huge bed, fully equipped kitchen. The reception clerk girl was very kind. Unbelievably good.

Very clean rooms at a fair price. Beds are comfy. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Try to get a room with a balcony !

I love this place. Stayed there for 1 night and my room had a stove, toaster and cooking utensils. Also, I had access to a balcony.
