Julie Jones pharmacy is the best pharmacy I have ever been into. Very professional and friendly staff. Not to mention that this place is cozy and looks like a piece of France in a small beautiful town. They even have a home delivery which is very convenient. They are always happy to help. I love going to this pharmacy just for the fact that when you walk out the front door, you're basically looking out over a spectacular Ottawa River view - and that's something your local Shoppers definitely can't deliver.

But more importantly: We have a cottage close to Campbell's Bay and this year we got really bad poison ivy. Nothing was helping, so I went to this place and asked if they had anything, even like an old courier du bois home remedy.

Sure enough, they made me up their own recipe: A liquid that sort of seems like it's thinned-out Buckley's (it's not, but it does have some of the same stuff, like camphor and eucalyptus). We were a little surprised to find that it worked really, really well at stopping the itching, stopping the growth of the blisters, and generally making all our poison ivy rashes clear up much quicker than they had with prescription cortisone creams.

For that alone, they're getting 5 stars from me! (I know someone complained about the lack of evening/weekend hours, but holy geez - Campbell's Bay is in the middle of nowhere and it is HARD to find healthcare staff these days, esp. pharmacists. Fort Coulonge, down the road, has the same problem. Not their fault.)

Lots of parking, friendly staff, store tidy, tv viewing while u wait.

Really need to improve their hours. Only one that’s open in the surrounding areas and if you don’t accommodate their hours you’ll be out of meds all weekend/till they return from holiday. Spent the whole weekend deathly sick and suicidal because they’re never open past 5 or on weekends anymore.
