Restaurant Bastos

The food tastes good and the waitress was very accommodating and patient. The place is cozy, and inviting with dim lights to set up a mood. I love the way the seafood has been cooked. For sure will come back again when we come across the town of St-Jean. Highly recommended.

Amazing place and great atmosphere. Food portions are very substantial so go when your very hungry or order smaller portions. The poutine dish is a gut bomb. You'll be full in no time. Sabrina our waitress, the beautiful doll she is, was extremely friendly and is an asset to the restaurant. Great service. Will certainly be back again and highly recommend it. Also great for families!! :)

This is hands down the best chicken around! The portions are always plentiful and the service is always fast and courteous. I personally always go for their amazing Portuguese chicken because it's so damn tasty but my lady loves their Panados and their poutine is also a must have. I highly recommend Bastos!

Best Portuguese chicken place and the piri piri sauce is amazing!

The food here is absolutely incredible! Although they did not have an English menu, the staff were very helpful and able to clear any confusions up right away. Definitely check this place out while in St. Jean. It can't be beat!

Supurb!! We were a party of 12 and our server Soliel was absolutely delightful!! She helped us with the menu and went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone was so impressed with their meals...it was definitely a 12 for 12 experience. Although we were in the area for a special occasion (8 hr drive from Ontario) we all agreed we would love to return to St Jean Richelieu sometime in our future to enjoy another meal at Bastos!

Nice menu selection, and the service was great. It wasn't a full place, but we waited 45mins for out friend to get there, and didn't feel a hit on annoyance from the staff.

I arrived without a reservation and the staff still found me a table. Food was delicious and was serve in a timely manner, as well, the staff were excellent. I will definitely return.

The food and service here is outstanding. I had the half chicken dinner - delicious. Highly recommend eating here.

Absolutely delicious chicken. Most definitely have to try the Bastos poutine. Friendly waitress and amazing iced coffee.

Really great Portuguese food. Take the sandwich with the Portuguese potatoes for a plate of comfort food. They are really worth the detour.
