I recently moved from Toronto to Hamilton and was pretty stressed going in.. I had 3 movers and a 20 foot truck and I wasn’t sure what to expect. There was open communication throughout the process with the office staff - I had to move the date and it was no problem. I emailed many times asking questions and each time they answered professionally. I never felt as if I was a bother. The quote was broken down in a way that I could understand and the deposit was reasonable.

The movers arrived on time -again open communication about where they were, gave me a heads up when they were about 10 minutes out so I could get the elevator on service.
By the time they got there I had been up quite a long time packing the last of the boxes and was super stressed. All three of these guys were super patient and super friendly. I got to just sit and let them “do their thing”.
Loading in at the end destination was a breeze.. there were a few times I changed my mind about where I wanted things and they were so accommodating - I never felt like they were annoyed at my ask. Everything was intact - nothing broken
The movers were Alex M, Andrew R and Alex J. The office person I dealt with was James.

The two gentlemen who came to move us were Luke and Nir. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. There were complications with couch not fitting in elevator, as well as other twists and turns.
Luke and Nir were true professionals and took all the problems and made everything happen smoothly. Highly recommend Power Moving and their terrific movers.

We hired Power Moving based on reviews and the fact that they were very flexible and communicative during the quoting process. I had the pleasure of communicating with James several times before our move via email and his response time to my many questions was super fast. We were sent 5 very capable movers and were moved out and into our new home in no time. The movers were courteous and on task the entire day. They took great care in disassembling, protecting, and reassembling all of our belongings, and there was zero damage to anything during our move. They moved our piano with great care, as well as a very heavy basketball net. They communicated with us the entire time and they demonstrated leadership and experience. I would definitely hire Power Moving again and will recommend them to friends.

We used Power Moving to move us a number of times and we have always been satisfied with their service. They arrive promptly and they ask a lot of questions in order to make sure that valuables are correctly wrapped and that things stay organized. Moving day can be so hard and exhausting for everyone- it is hard to find a moving company you can trust. We used them to move a two bedroom apartment into storage and then once we found a house to buy and went through the process, we used them again to move us into our house which was a big move. Having kids adds additional stress, so it really matters. Power Moving was attentive, polite and timely. I highly recommend them- we will use them again. They also are priced less than some of the the bigger companies I called for an estimate. They even do wrapping.

My moving with power moving was excellent. I have used numerous different shifting organizations and power moving used to be some distance and away the best. Their quote was once correct and they ended up being on the low give up of what they quoted due to their difficult work. The consumer carrier was once beneficial every time I called. The movers confirmed up early, had been such tough and environment friendly workers, have been pleasant and wrapped the whole thing well. I will simply be the usage of power moving subsequent time I have to move. Highly recommend power moving!!

My husband and I got a few quotes from other moving companies but in the end we decided to go with Power Moving because they had the most competitive pricing. We were moving from Toronto to Windsor and so we knew that it wouldn't be cheap, but Power Moving gave a flat rate for the travel time and then charged hourly for the load in/unload times. They had no other hidden fees/expenses in their quote and I liked that this eliminated a lot of uncertainty that we would have with other companies.

They showed up on time on the day of our move and Roger and Juan got to moving our things right away. They worked quickly and efficiently and they were also very friendly. We asked them to wrap/protect certain things and they had no problem doing so. They were also very careful with our belongings and ensured that nothing got damaged while loading in.

Even though it was a 1 bedroom apartment, we had A LOT of stuff. Still, it only took them two and a half hours to load everything up which was impressive.

Upon arrival to our new place, Juan and Roger again got to unloading everything right away and were as efficient as they were when loading up. We had most of our boxes labeled by room and they made sure to put them where they were meant to go. They also made sure to ask about any unlabeled boxes.

When it came time for the bill, there were no surprises. It was exactly what we were quoted in the beginning for the travel time and truck fee, plus the hours it took them to load and unload. After hearing horror stories from other moving companies, you can imagine our relief that Power Moving was not one of these companies.

Overall, great experience using Power Moving and I would recommend them to my friends and family, or to anyone looking to do a move. P.S: Juan and Roger deserve a raise!

I just used Power Moving to move from Toronto to Newmarket and let me tell you, every member was wonderful. I had most everything packed in the morning and they didn't let me lift a finger once they got there. The service members were getting things set up in our new apartment without any issues. I was once very relaxed with power moving all through the transferring process. They had been affordable, hard-working, and personable. I used to be amazed at how shortly and successfully they moved us from one residence to the next! I would fairly endorse power moving to everybody searching for lengthy distance transferring offerings

Let’s start with the quoting process… the gentleman o worked with was excellent and responded in a very timely manner. There was no pressure selling, which is an immediate turn off for me. Rather than pressuring me to choose the company for our move, he sent me lots of helpful hints regarding vendor selection and what to look for. After checking with about 6 other vendors, Power Moving won the quote, not only because they had one of the best price points, but the professionalism in the correspondence was impeccable.

About the move: we were sent two extremely nice gentlemen for the move. They were friendly and very respectful of our possessions. There were a couple hiccups (no fault of theirs) and they were very responsible and reasonable in handling the situation. End of the day, the charge and the quote was very closely aligned based on what was discussed so I was very happy about that

Communication with them was amazing. The crew was fast and very professional. The foreman directed things efficiently and conscientiously and was willing to go out of his way to do the little extra things to help us out, such as moving excess furniture to the garage. Happy client!
