Toronto Children's Dentist

My son have been coming to this clinic since he was about 4-5. He is now 12 yrs old. My son have special needs and going to the dentist is very challenging. However, this clinic have been accommodating with all my specifications to get the job done. Although there has been some changes with this clinic, Sahar(front desk) assured that everything will be as good as before. She was right! It was our first time meeting Dr. Sara today, and I must say she knew how to communicate with my son. She connected with him through simple talk just by asking my sons name. She is very experienced. I knew at this point that we are off to a great start.

The team today was beyond amazing, and as a parent with special needs it’s not easy for me to watch my son go through difficulties. He did well with the new doctor. And to Sahar, you’re an angel! Keep doing what you’re doing! My son loves the toy you gave him.

I will forever be grateful to the team at Toronto Children's Dentist. My daughter was suffering because of her tongue and lip tie. After her consultation we were able to get an appointment by the end of the week. Today, she was able to finally latch the way she should and feeding was amazing. She's in much brighter spirits since being able to move her tongue. Thank you so much lovely ladies.

I took my daughter to see doctor Elliot and I was blown away with their level of expertise. Erin was incredibly nice and knew how to talk to my daughter to get things done. My daughter loved both, Dr. Elliot and Erin. This place exceeded my expectations and me and my daughter are so great full to have found this office. The staff at the front desk are also very nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this location. Dr. Elliot truly cares for his little patients.

Dr Sara werb is a wonderful doctor. She is so good with babies. My son had his fenectomy done by her. I am glad I came to this clinic. My experience was awesome and the staff were so friendly with my baby. I recommend for everyone!

Dr. Sara Werb is an awesome pediatric dentist as she knew that I had a cold during pregnancy based on how my child's top molars developed. This wowed me the most. She also educated me about baby teeth and is very knowledgeable. The commute is around 1 hour via subway as I would never take my child to see another dentist after our first experience. She's always very kind and easy to talk to.

If there is 10 stars i will give them 10. From the staff specially Melissa. She accomodated my son's needs beyond our expectations. Dr. Schwartz is an amazing dentist. My son saw a different dentist and the plan for him is to have 4 front teeth extraction considering he is just 4 years old. A friend of mine recommended us to him . He saved all his teeth and have a sparkling smile again. He just did not save my son's teeth but also he helped him on my concerns of my son's problem of speaking if those teeth was remove.

Amazing and professional. Dr. Schwartz looked after my daughter's dental problem in the most pain-free way you can imagine. The lovely assistant was also able to take x-rays on my daughter so quickly. It had been a pleasant experience for us all. The team really offers a peace of mind to parents that their little ones are in good hands.

The staff and the dentists are awesome. Both paediatric dentist offer treatment to be done under general anesthesia which was suggested as the best option. The staff are very accommodating and were able to assist in an easy booking process and help with my insurance claims. Your children are in great hands at this clinic.

After experiencing some ongoing latching issues, we decided to take my newborn to a dentist for further examination. Dr. Werb was quick to identify my daughter’s lip tie and tongue tie (that were missed by two lactation consultants). The procedure to correct was quick and painless. Would definitely recommend for any moms having feeding issues

I've been taking my kids to this office for many years.Dr. Schwartz is highly experienced, conscientious, and I have felt great entrusting my kids' mouths to him! The hygienists are wonderful - very calm and warm, and the office is well-managed -- they make it easy to book appointments, and they send receipts to insurance directly so that we get automatically reimbursed.

Very professional, really great with children. We had no negative experience, in fact left the clinic with positive feelings. I was little bit concerned with the reviews, however, I am glad that I did not take them seriously and gave Dr Elliot's clinic a chance. All reviews are personal, I understand that part, bu,t the reviewers have an obligation towards the public to reflect somewhat unbiased information about the services. We will be back for a follow-up next week.

Brittany and Sahar are always very welcoming and friendly. They have been very helpful in scheduling appointments and rebooking with what works for me.
I started seeing a new dentist here, Dr. Alpert who has been great. Gentle, funny, and very friendly. Overall, very happy with the services here.

I have been taking my son here for 9 years. For 9 years we have been extremely satisfied with Dr.Elliott and his staff. Never though about writing a review. Google review was probably not existing 9 years ago. But today I decide to write this review after reading some of the very negative reviews posted here. I must say I am totally shocked at the negative reviews. I won't question other people's experience but I feel I must share my experience. Positive experience.

For the past 9 years, I have had plenty opportunities to observe the doctor and his staff working when I wait for my son. I must say all I ever saw was professional and courteous behaviour. Being a dental office specially for children, it is a very tough place to keep yourself sane, especially during March break. The noise from kids, cries from toddlers, constant scolding from parents... ... did I mention phones ringing off the hook? But never once I observe the doctor or his staff complain, raise their voice, or even shook their head. They have always been polite and friendly.

As to Dr.Elliott, we are totally and completely satisfied with his professional treatment of my son's dental problems. 9 years ago we came to him with a very shy and introvert boy with loaded dental problems and no dental experience. My son refuses dental cleaning from a very early age and almost never had dental treatment. (Don't ask me why it's a long story). Our first year with Dr.Elliott started with surgery, repeated visits, then slowly we became regular. Now my son has a beautiful bright smile showing showing off his beautiful teeth, and a good habit of dental hygiene. My son absolutely loves Dr.Elliott and always looking forward to each visit.

Their staff - the best I have ever experienced. Professional and friendly. Absolutely. Even after going there for 9 years, I still get their detailed explanation on each visit how my insurance claim was filed and which item is covered or not covered. Once I spoke with a lady and found she had worked for Dr.Elliott for many year, like 20 or something I can not remember exactly. She is always smiling, always pleasant and always very helpful. How many of us can work for one employer for that long and still be happy everyday to every customer.

I encourage customers with positive experience to come out and share your opinion too. For 9 years we have enjoyed Dr.Elliott's service. I can find my way to the office with my eyes closed so I never searched his address on Google map until now. If it was not due to a raining day and terrible traffic jam, and I had to see how late we would be, I wouldn't have used Google map, neither would I have noticed the reviews. I think Dr. Elliott and his staff deserve to hear from me, a satisfied customer.

Newly renovated, bright waiting room looks great! Amazing experiences including preventive care for one kid and many fillings for another kid. Both dentists are kind and skilled!

Dr. Alpert and Sahar made my dental experience today very comforting and enjoyable. For 26 years I have had anxiety visiting dentists, and for the first time today it was joyful! They were great!

I had a 2½ year old who had issues with his 4 front teeth as soon as they erupted. We immediately took him to the family dentist and we were told that he has to be at least two years of age before they can do any repairs. One of the front teeth broke very early and he was complaining about discomfort as early as 2 years old.

With COVID-19, we had a very hard time getting appointment for dentist, but we persisted and he saw two dentists who both wanted to extract his teeth and place a space maintainer instead. My wife and I were not happy with that option.

Finally we were recommended to go and see Dr. Elliott A. Schwartz. We were able to get an appointment fairly quick. Dr. Schwartz told us that he can do root-canal and save all the front teeth. We were very happy with Dr. Schwartz's care plan.

We had full dental insurance, until we realize that even full dental insurance doesn't cover all the cost of the specialist fee guide.

We initially thought that we were being overcharged and after many phone calls to the insurance company, some research on our part and detail explanation of the fees from the office manager, we realized that according to the specialist fee guide, Dr. Schwartz is not overcharging at all.

YES, it was expensive and
YES, our so called 100% dental insurance didn't cover all the cost,
But, in comparison to the other offices that shall remain nameless, the cost was almost the same. Except Dr. Schwartz was doing much more work, instead of just pulling out the teeth.

We prepared our child the night before by showing him Youtube video and explaining to him what to expect. We took his blanket and his toy with him to the hospital, which helped. The procedure took just over 2½ hours and he was sleeping another hour after that in recovery. But just look at the picture.

Some facts I like to point out:
1. The procedure was done in an operating room at North York General Hospital.
2. There was an actual anesthesiologist doctor who put my kid under and she was very nice. It helped that we prepared our kid and he knew what to expect.
3. We end up paying some noticeable cost that our insurance didn't cover.
4. Dr. Schwartz was very detailed and experienced. From the first visit, he knew exactly what he can do, if we were able to pay for it, and he did exactly what he said.
5. The result was excellent. It was far better than we thought it would be. I am sorry that I cannot upload more pictures, but his brother who is a few years older than him is now a patient of Dr. Schwartz as well.
6. Some other dental office may charge a few hundred less, but compare to the work they do, Dr. Schwartz price are much more reasonable.

In summary, speak to the office manager, Melissa, if you have concerns, but rest assure that Dr. Schwartz is very good at what he does. If you have a young kid like us, you really want him to go under general anesthesia in the hospital with an experienced anesthesiologist in a controlled environment.

I have been following Dr. P. Alter for a few years now. I am extremely happy that I have found an amazing, caring dentist who goes above and beyond to take care of all my dental problems. He is very detailed-oriented and knowledgeable. Dr. Alter always explains all the necessary steps and answers all the questions I have. Very patient with kids as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I took my 5 week old to their office at the recommendation of my lactation consultant, because she was having trouble latching. Dr Werb confirmed it was due to a tongue tie. She fixed it with a laser. It’s now been 3 weeks and my baby is doing great. She is gaining weight and drinking great. Thank you to Dr. werb and her two amazing assistants.

Dr. Werb and her team always make my dentist experience stress-free and fun! The staff are friendly and warm which makes going to the dentist such a positive experience. Thank you Dr. Werb and team for always making my visits wonderful! I would highly recommend Toronto Children’s Dentist!

My son requires dental appliances and there was a confusion with the insurance payment on his first adjustment. The nurse Sahar helped me to chase them down for 3 months and finally got it straightened out! Such dedication and accountability! Thank you so much!
