Have been cycling and coming here for years. I have to say they have the best service out of any bike shop I have ever been to. Kai is one of the most knowledgeable and well versed bike mechanic I have ever interacted with and is able to quickly identify and fix any issues I have had with my bikes, from simple punctures to full crashes and wheel rebuilds. When it comes to point of sales, Ian always provides outstanding service and takes a customer first approach, making sure that all of my needs are well accounted for. I have and will continue to refer all of my friends here, I cannot recommend them enough.

Great service, experienced mechanics (mountain and road) and remember to bow before Kai - a true grand master mechanic who will remind you of Saint Nick !!accessories, very reasonable prices bought our kids first bikes by hear so literally been our go to shop in Toronto - really nice being greeted by my first name and why not support a 🇨🇦 Family Neighbourhood enterprise since 1975 !!!

I purchased a (Pivot 429 Trail) sight unseen from Silent Sports today, this is my first transaction at this bike shop. My experience has been second to none. Kai whom I have not met yet has been excellent in his communication about the bikes anticipated arrival during these uncertain times post C19. The crew had the bike assembled within a day upon arrival following up with an email as soon as it was ready for pickup. I had an AXS wireless shifter installed on Kai’s advice and it looks and sounds quite snazzy I must say. A young gentlemen by the name of Mark also one of the tech’s there was waiting for me, I was very impressed with his knowledge on the various components, he took extra care in ensuring all adjustments were to my liking prior to the bike leaving the store. This review is long overdue since we had been dealing with Silent Sports for years. They helped us to start windsurfing and SUPing on the best possible gear and we've never looked back. Years later we know all of them by name and going to the store is like visiting good friends. They usually have anything you need for your wing, kite, SUP or windsurfer in stock and if not - they will go out of their way to get it for you. And recently we have switched our bikes' service here as well and couldn't be happier. This is a family owned business and feels as such and nowhere else are we happier to spend our money. We'd love to thank all and each of them by name and hope Bruce or Simon will do it for us. Thank you for being there and see you soon!

Silent Sports and their whole team are fantastic. Every time that I’m in their store, they recognize me and ask if they can help. Bruce, Ian , and Kai are the leaders and specialists. I recently needed my Surly Karate Monkey serviced. ( I ride hard, and almost every day) Kai is their head bike mechanic. It turns out that I had worn almost everything on my bike out. Just got it back and my bike is better than new!! The attention to detail or the repairs was astounding. If you love your bike as much as I do, you couldn’t do better than taking it to Silent Sports. Yeah they have new bikes to.

Very helpful staff and big thnx to Simon for taking the time to discuss a new windsurfing rig that suits me and my boards. Bought 2 wings and can't wait to try them out.

Ian and the team at Silent Sports were amazing. Didn’t even know they existed. On Friday late afternoon I discovered the inner tube on the wheel for my daughter’s wheel chair had a broken valve. Several other high end bike stores said they couldn’t help. Ian and the technician (unfortunately didn’t get his name) went above and beyond to find a solution even though they didn’t have the right size inner tube. They were able to get a different sized tube to work and my daughter wasn’t left stranded over the weekend. Much thanks.

A sportsman paradise, I was guided by young a man today who very patiently walked me the whole process of purchasing my very first kite and accommodating my request. Kudos to his patience at this young age. Bruce looked like a serious man but was to the point :). Hands down I would recommend this store to anyone looking for great deals and cool human beings.

The store associate (the gentleman with long beard) was very helpful and provided us with useful information. He fixed my older bike
and my daughter tried a couple of new bikes. She will be back later to buy one.

Last year the knob from the front suspension fell off. I put it back myself but since then the suspension was always locked. I went with the bicycle to fix the issue in 2 specialized stores somewhere on Bloor street and they told me that I have to replace the fork... so an about $300 cost. I decided to go to Silent Sports for the replacement because it is in my area. They fixed the problem in only 10 minutes and it costs me $8 :) The knob was not in the right position and it was not engaging the mechanism. The young guy from bicycle service seem to be very knowledgeable. He explained me very clear how the mechanism works and what was wrong.

A fantastic team who repeatedly go above and beyond to support their customers. Expert, reliable advice, many great discounts, and very impressive customer service. I've been a happy customer for 3 years and can't imagine shopping anywhere else for my kite gear.

Service was amazing - Eric assisted me and replaced the seat that I'd had stolen awhile back, while answering my questions while I'd watched. I got lucky with the timing going in when the shop was not busy, so all of the upgrades took maybe an hour (seat, chain, gears, lights, helmet). Couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you so much Eric!!

I've purchased all my windsurfing kits from Silent Sports. The staff are always friendly and professional. In particular, I had a great experience with Simon recently. He took the extra time to go over detailed information and provided a fun, laid back atmosphere, much like a friend. He has a wealth of knowledge
and it certainly helped choose the best selection for my level.

I got most of my Wing Foiling gear from here. Bruce (the owner) is the best. He’s extremely helpful and knows everything!
They also have the *best* deals on equipment. I highly recommend supporting this small business.

I’ve purchased 4 bikes from Silent Sports over the last 25 years and although I’ve picked up bikes and frames from other well known GTA shops Silent Sports is the one I always end up coming back to. They aren’t my local bike shop but Ian and Kai’s service always make the extra drive worth it. Friendly and knowledgeable.
