Union Social Eatery

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Union Social Eatery and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying their avocado dip, which was not only tasty but also reasonably priced.

During happy hour, the drink prices were incredibly affordable, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy some refreshing beverages without breaking the bank. The quality of the drinks was excellent, offering a wide variety to suit different preferences.

Our waitress went above and beyond, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. She even took a memorable picture of my girlfriend and me, which was a thoughtful gesture I

I order off of UberEats to try this restaurant out for the first time and there was technical issues regarding the order going through on their end. I waited 45 minutes for the takeout order. The hostess tried to resolve the issue to the best of her ability but she knew it wasn't satisfactory with her recommendations. That's when she introduced me to her General Manager Dave, who is exceptional at his job and provided extraordinary customer service. Not only did he refund me in full for my order but he told me to come back tomorrow and he will provide me a free meal.

Dave, being a man of his word did welcome me back the next day with open arms and apologized again for the experience I received. Not only did I get to meet him on a personal level; I was able to see the outstanding work environment that he has created for his employees. Not only was the customer service incredible the food was absolutely delicious.

This is the type of customer service that has made a lifelong customer in me because I love supporting restaurants that tailor to the customer experience and truly cares about leaving an everlasting memory for each customer that enters their doors.

We go there regularly. The place feels just right, main floor is versatile to sit for any occasion, patio is delightful. Foods have big variety & all delicious. I love their Henderson Best with Fish & chips, she loves their steak or sushi stack with Hail Caesar, but nevertheless they have the best truffle fries. If we go in group beef nacho is called for. Overall it's our favorite place to go in North York. Management are so accommodating they set up to serve decaf in her request, thank you.

They have a New ‘Summer sipping menu’ curated with premium liquor and fresh fruits.
Food creations are very unique with each menu item perfectly curated to compliment the theme of the restaurant.
Featured menu items that you must try:

Almond crusted chicken tenders- with double fried fries for extra crisp
Tuna & avocado stack - great shareable option which is very interactive that can be eaten as a dip with chips or as a salad.
Tofu Poke Stack- with sushi rice, avocado, fresh veggies with toasted sesame dressing
Mars Bar Brownie with in house ice- cream

Food quality was excellent, fries are unique and tasty, nicely done, get the gravy with fries, its outstanding. All menu selections made in house from scratch Firecracker appetizers are a great starter. Burgers are completely awesome. Vegetable flatbread was phenomenal, great ambiance and a social atmosphere. Background music was great. You are ensured a great dining experience with excellent customer service.

Its a quiet cozy place in the afternoons. Good spot for a beer and snacks. More so, it is also a good place for dining as well. Servers, Bartenders and staffs are professional and nice. 2 notable names who served me when I've been here, Fifi and Alisa (or Lisa* sorry I could've been confused). The menu is a bit expensive than other restaurants around or even downtown for that matter, but they do have daily special menus to look at. And considering the place, its worth to spend extra cents, at least so far.

Its also a good place for group party or reservations considering the space it has, and good thing is, they don't have a compulsion by default extra % gratuity for larger groups* (15 guests). And being a hospitality professional, that's how it should be, where gratuity and tips are earned not asked for 🙂. I will be there again for sure and I liked the place so much, even applied over here.

Nevertheless, as the name suggests, good social cafe to socialize if you have the right mindset and be on the right time. P.S I just wish they were able to show the European Football like, Champions League and Premier League, would have added Cherry on top.

I lived here for years before finally trying Union and its very nice and yummy. Its on the mid to pricey range so its good for hanging out with friends and getting a nice meal/drink.
Got a salad, nachos, tacos, and cocktails and it was amazing all around.

Visited during a weekday lunch rush, was seated quickly without a reservation. Service was prompt and adequate. Because of lunch rush was a little louder than for my taste.
They have more variety of dishes then standard pub fare which is appreciated! Ordered the pesto tortellini that was delicious (although very little prosciutto)!! Would return for another portion. Liked the cozy booths for seating!
Great for big groups as they have big tables and a private upstairs area.

Was a good dine in experience. Nice place to just chill and not too crowded. Very friendly waitresses. Even brought us a surprise birthday brownie. Loved the garlic shrimp tacos and the fish and chips!

The staff was very accommodating (I had to take a call the whole time I was there) and super helpful with my order from the start.

I had the steak frites and the beef was slightly tougher than desired but I didn’t complain and the manager gave me a discount! The frites were plenty and had the right crunch. Speaking of doing a superb job, Sima, the waitress, was very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helped pick out the right wine for my steak.

Highly recommend this place if you expect good service while dining in.

UNION social has their Social Hour everyday with different specials! Wednesday is $10 for a pound of wings and $19.95 pitchers of beer!

These wings were Buffalo butter flavored with gorgonzola dipping sauce. Really good wings..

This is my first time at this location (I've been to the Mississauga location before), and I loved it! The rooftop patio is just beautiful! They have beautiful lights and nice big tables so people can just lounge. The food was great! I loved their option to sub the side of fries for a whole sushi roll! Amazing! Although the sushi wasn't THAT great, still worth it if that's what you're craving. I got the almond crusted chicken tenders and I loved it. My friend got the mushroom melt burger and that was great too! Service was also on point! What a great chain! I would def come back again and I recommend it!

It was my first patio after a long long time and it was quite pleasant.
I went there on a Saturday evening and luckily I could have a table without any wait.
The lady who served us was incredibly nice and lovely.
I really liked my cheeseburger, and they followed the instructions I gave, however, I asked for no sauce but there was still a bit mayo underneath the patty. I was too hungry and the lady was so nice and I’m sure it was busy so I didn’t want to be annoying LOL
The last time I visited them, the fries were more fresh; they weren’t bad this time but it would be better if they were more fresh
Overall, enjoyable!

Had a very pleasant lunch - Dani was our server and took very good care of us. The nachos were meh - but the rest of the food was delicious! We had the tuna bowl (in picture) and the almond crusted chicken fingers. Amazing. All washed down with a refreshing Cesar. Excited to return!

Not only was the food delicious but service was amazing too! The server asked if it was my first time here, and it was plus I was from out of town, so she must've told her manager who came over to greet us and to ensure that all was to our satisfaction (it was!), then he brought us a complimentary dessert, which was a warm brownie. It may sound simple but that brownie was ridiculously delicious!! I highly recommend this establishment and will make it a point to return on my next trip to Toronto!

The waiters are friendly.
Even though main meal has too much pepper to eat, it tastes good.

We were seated almost immediately and a waitress approached us within a minute. We asked for more time and another one approached us after a minute or two, asking if we would like to order. The third time we did. After that we were approached another 4 times and asked if everything is ok. We found it pretty amazing and amusing. We ordered beer, fries and guacamole. The guacamole had an amazing taste of an exotic spice. The beer was cold and the fries crunchy. They were freshly cut thin fries. The bill came with tax to $36. Very reasonable.
I was there yesterday again. Our waitresses name was Meghan. We ordered beer, hamburgers and fries. The hamburgers were good, the quantity of the fries huge and delicious. They come very hot to the table. The service was very good. Meghan was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come again

Went for a quick bite after watching a movie. It was a hot summer day and the bucket of Corona was heaven ✨ friendly staff, good food and great vibe :)

I've been here twice already. The food is great and the servers are extremely friendly.

Great selection of beers to choose from too. Overall great experience.

Went last month with colleagues. Food was amazing and staff was friendly. Would definitely come back.
