Great price for full service site, Jennifer and Rob and their family are awesome. Not too big of a cmpground and caught and released a nice bass. Hobby farm and beach are great. Even had a few wayward cows come through, what more could you want 🙂

The owners are super friendly and welcoming.
The park was very clean,
with an amazing atmosphere.
We will definitely visit again.
Even during this difficult time of covid, people managed to still be welcoming and friendly, during social distancing rules and regulations.
See you again 😃

Small space, went there for the day to dip my toes in the pond. It was clean, and the staff are super friendly. They have beautiful animals on the property. The goats and chickens are so cute. The playground looked clean.

Stephanie (Stefany?) and her family are the epitome of Canadian hospitality. We are very new to the camper van life and they were so incredibly accommodating. After a long day’s drive they were very helpful and patient with our beginner questions and available for assistance. The grounds and facilities are in excellent shape, its home to a welcoming community. Clean, cared after and run by competent and friendly people. What more could you ask for? Water, electricity and sewage dumping available on site. A beach (even a separate dog-friendly one) and the best part, freshly laid eggs for sale from their chicken coop! Will absolutely return next time we’re in the area.

What an awesome place. We got lucky when we randomly found this campground on google, and based on our experience the nearly 5 star rating is very very well deserved. From arriving to departure, the owners were flawlessly friendly and welcoming, and helpful. Facilities - showers, washrooms, store, etc. - were all very well maintained and CLEAN.

Even the small details made a difference - wood was dry which made for easy fire starts. Campground design itself is not just a grid of spaces.. it's more windy and you seem to have lots of space around you, and the hookups are well placed for majority of RVs

We happened to book during Christmas in July and surprisingly the campground organized an event for the kids, plus hosted a movie night in a wide open field near the lake.

The lake is quite small - but plenty big enough for swimming and big enough for the private use of this campground, and has a swim dock which was very well used. We spent a lot of time in the water there. The beach is quite nice and sandy, and regularly graded to keep it smooth.

Our kids made friends with the owner's son which added a special flavour to the week. Shout out to how polite he is as well!

Every campsite we've been to since simply does not compare to Castleton Hills and I really look forward to the next time we're able to visit.

Thank you for such a great experience.

The owners were amazing and the park was so quiet! Just what we wanted for a weekend away. There's a lovely hiking trail, which was a bonus. We arrived a little after dark, and the owner helped provide extra light and guidance while we set up. We look forward to going back next summer!

Stayed there August of 2017. The owners are really nice and helpful (even offering to haul our stuff for us when our bus wouldn't go up the hill). Sites were beautiful. The tent site was huge and secluded. The rustic cabin was very nice with it's own deck. Prices are very low! Well worth the money.
