A great doctor, very attentive and helpful. Very nice office and staff. He takes care of our 4 kids. All the helping staff and nurses are very helpful and compassionate. Doctor spends as much time as needed to address the issues and concerns. We will never change unless we move away.

I am so happy I met him, I've switched 3 times to a new Pediatrician and I could not be happier that I met him and he has taken my daughter as a patient.
He's so nice and actually listens to your concerns as a parent.
I'm so so so happy!

Dr. Khalefih is a fantastic Dr. We have had both our kids with him since their birth and could not be happier. Have friends who also brought their kids to him and raved about how he was able to diagnose something for their child that other Doctors had missed. highly recommend.

Dr khalefih has been my children’s doctor for over 14 years, he himself is great. Has always been able to answer any questions and refer to other specialist when needed.
The reason for the low rating is unfortunately the secretary. Many occasions I have had to be calling daily for a week at a time, leaving messages but the secretary never returns calls. My children have not gotten their prescription refills on time on a few occasions because of this. I even state how many messages I have left and that is for my children’s prescription refills, and rarely receive a call back.
I have decided to just show up in person next time and will state that the secretary never Called back

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally document and express my concerns regarding an incident that occurred during my visit to your clinic on [aug 17 2023]. I am a longstanding patient of Dr. Latif and have been under her care for over a decade.

During my recent appointment, I was called in for an assessment subsequent to receiving my test results from Life Lab. After completing the registration process and awaiting my turn, I was summoned by a nurse responsible for assessing my blood pressure. However, as she began her procedure, my attention was diverted by my name being announced at the front desk.

In an effort to address this unexpected summons, I stood up to ascertain the nature of the announcement and the individual responsible for it. Unfortunately, my actions appeared to trigger an inexplicably hostile reaction from the attending nurse. Her tone became aggressive, and her communication with me became overtly abrasive.

In response to her tone and demeanor, I calmly conveyed my age, which exceeds 50 years, and emphasized that such a condescending approach was not warranted or appropriate. It is my belief that individuals attending medical facilities are universally experiencing discomfort and health issues. My intention in standing up was merely to investigate the source of the announcement that coincided with the ongoing assessment.

Regrettably, my attempt at communication and clarification did not result in de-escalation. Rather, the situation further intensified, devolving into a debate with the aforementioned nurse. Despite my efforts to explain the context and resolve the misunderstanding, her disposition remained confrontational. It became evident that she did not fully comprehend the nuances of the situation, leading to an apology offered only after a prolonged exchange.

Subsequently, I decided to temporarily remove myself from the situation, seeking respite outside the examination room. During this interval, a colleague of the aforementioned nurse, who had known me for an extended duration, demonstrated professionalism and conducted the blood pressure assessment without incident. It was at this juncture that I contemplated the necessity of reporting the incident, foreseeing the potential for similar occurrences affecting other patients.

The matter further escalated when Dr. Latif and the head nurse became involved, inquiring about the events that had transpired. I believe it is pertinent to mention that the individual involved exhibited a tendency to assert her perspective and maintain a defensive stance, even after the initial issue had been resolved. This prolonged insistence on having the final say and her attempt to draw the attention of senior medical staff have led me to express my concerns formally.

It is my aspiration that such incidents do not recur, and that patients are treated with the dignity and respect that befit a medical environment. Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to offer some constructive feedback on the clinic's facilities. Over time, I have observed that the physical environment has shown signs of wear, including rain-damaged drywall near door casings, poorly affixed signs, and a general lack of maintenance. Moreover, the newly incorporated blood assessment section appears to be situated in an awkward corner, indicating a possible oversight in its design.

Lastly, I would like to address the demeanor of the receptionists, who have conveyed a rather rough and unprofessional attitude. It is my belief that they may benefit from exposure to the patient-centric culture of Canadian hospitals to enhance their approach to patient interaction.

I remain committed to the continuation of my medical care with Dr. Latif, and I hope that this feedback is taken constructively and contributes to the enhancement of patient experiences within your clinic.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Baha
