La Toscana

We visited for drinks one evening. The service and gentleman who looked after us was so amazing we went back the following evening ... for more drinks and desert! Can highly recommend the Cabernet Sauvignon!

We ordered Tiramasu, the Chocolate and Raspberry ice cream, the New York Cheesecake and the Cheeseboard. Clean plates all round!

We sat outside and were checked on frequently.

Would highly recommend.

Absolutely a GEM in our city! Family owned. So much history and culture. The food is incredible! The atmosphere is one of a kind. Great wine selection. Beautiful place for dinner, to celebrate an occasion or just “because”. You can’t go wrong dining here!

This is just great food and great service at it’s finest. I’m going to say it’s my absolute favourite restaurant!
I can’t even find the words to truly describe what a hidden gem this place is.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about La Toscana. My partner and I just moved to Milton, ON and we have to say, La Toscana has become our second home. The atmosphere sweet and intimate, and everyone is so kind there, that it really feels like home.

The food, I have to say, is cooked with such love and attention to detail. We've tried every appetizer on the menu and continue to find such excitement on our weekly dates here. Throughout our experiences there, we've narrowed down our favourite appetizers to their Mussels (with cream sauce), fresh oysters, beef carpaccio and their bruschetta.

My partner also loved the Capresa salad but could've done with just a little less sweetness. Also, I should mention that, though their escargot appetizer is really special-- it is certainly an acquired dish for cheese and mushroom lovers. :)

This place is so good, we've had it as takeout because it was raining. Trust me, La Toscana is a MUST visit. Say hi to the welcoming owner Pasquale and say Nina sent you!

We ordered the Linguine Pescatore, the 10 oz NY Sirloin in peppercorn sauce, Spaghetti Bolognese & Rack of Lamb in Thyme Demi Glaze crusted in dijon mustard bread with red wine rosemary. Both the steak and lamb were tender and cooked perfectly. The lamb was so tender that it was falling off the bone. The peppercorn sauce on the NY sirloin complemented the tenderness of the meat. Highly recommended and worth the trip to Milton if you are within the GTA.

It was my first time coming here, staff were professional and attentive. I ordered a ‘Lobster medallion with diced cherry tomatoes’ and it was amazingly good!!! It was delicious

As for the set up of the restaurant, I love how the the building structure was preserved and exposed the stone indoors! It gives a rustic, cozy atmosphere.

I highly recommend this restaurant! Will definitely come back!

How can anyone not love Pasquale and Albert? They go above and beyond to make sure I am happy every single time I go. Food is fabulous and the restaurant has so much character.

I am Italian, so I am pretty picky about the food and I can say that in this place, you can find the actual original food receipts as you were in Italy. It’s amazing when your expectations are satisfied, so I give to this place five stars for everything including the service in the atmosphere, which is typical warm, friendly, easy-going, Italian habits.

Loved La Toscana. The three in our party shared their rack of lamb, veal saltimbocca with penne in a tomato sauce, and their pasta special that day, asiago stuffed ravioli in a pesto sauce. (we like to share so you get a taste of everything). Every dish tasted fabulous. We wrapped up the meal by sharing creme brulee. We're looking forward to our next visit.

High quality seafood and a great selection of wines. Sitting at the bar will land you some friendly chat too . The semifreddo was very good and there were some parking spots at the back of the restaurant

First time and probably not the last…a perfect evening for us! A special Thanks to our awesome waiter Antonio, who made our evening even that more special .

The atmosphere was warm, service friendly and the meal was delicious. Lovely tiramisu!

Excellent and delicious taste. Salmon fish and cheese cake are must try.

Pasquale and the rest of the staff are very attentive and make you welcome. I enjoy stopping in for Oysters and the linguine - my favourites!

My date and I were out hiking all evening and didn't have time to change so we were dressed less than ideally for this venue but since I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience in the past we thought we'd give it a try.
We greeted at the door and still offered to dine in at the bar. Food was prompt and wonderful done, service was attentive, and even though we were dressed as we were, they still .ade the night special.

I celebrated my niece's birthday on May 31st beautiful night night with family and great food and excellent service highly recommend!

One of our favourite Italian places in downtown Milton. Food is always amazing- oysters are always fresh, their specials offer a wide variety, their menu staples are always a delicious go to! Wide selection of wine, the staff are wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere is always inviting, definitely recommend! it does get busy, so probably recommend making reservations but they also do walk ins

My husband and I went to this restaurant on Monday for our anniversary. My sister reserved this place for us, and it was so cute! The food was amazing!!! And the service was even better. They were so caring and making sure all was well. Highly recommend this place to anyone, and also, I'll definitely be back again soon with my family :)
