Great campground along the Saugeen River. We stopped in for 1 night during our Kayak of the river. They have riverside campsites you can paddle to. A general store in the middle serves up ice cream and coffee. There is a horse shoe pit, pool tables, and fußball tables if you get bored. I highly recommend this campground for those travelling along the Saugeen River, or for those in the general area.

Headed to the Bluffs to meet up with 2 Grand Daughters and did a short trip for 2 bridges and a little fishing took about 3.5 hours and then set up Neil's truck so Jenn and Neil could take a float down to the first bridge before they had supper Tight Lines Fishing 🎣

Nice camping park. Sites were private enough with lots of trees. Some shade so not too hot. Not too big. Easy enough to walk around or bike as well. Few hiking trails. Lots of river access. Splash pool was not functioning. Showers were warm with good water pressure. nice and clean. flush toilets throughout the park!!
General store also good a little bit of everything...lots of ice cream...sold out over Long weekend. 😞
Local farmer was great for fire wood and cheaper then the park.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Great quiet place to camp and enjoy nature. Hiking trails through the woods and along the river. Canoe/kayak rentals on site.

Kids were a little upset there was no pool but then we found the wading pool. Great spot for family camping, very kid friendly, lots of bathrooms, seems to be well kept. Tent sites are a good size and seasonal sites are huge. The Lookout Trail is a must for any new campers, beautiful view at the top and well worth all those stairs! My only complaint would be the map isn't exactly correct as it took us about a half hour to find our site when we first arrived. Once we got settled and walked around we were able to find our way perfectly fine. A long weekend just isn't long enough!

Absolutely beautiful campground. Friendly staff that are always willing to help. The toilet facilities are EXTREMELY good. Real toilets, sinks to wash hands, showers. Very clean. There are a good couple spots for sititng near the river and also a beautiful lookout point. Other than a very noisy neighbour, this was the best camping trip I've had in a long time!
Will definitely be back.

The absolute BEST place to go for the Maple Syrup Festival. Spacious outdoor venue with a building or two to pop into to check out baking and crafts. A large array of vendors. This is a beautiful place to camp or walk and well worth the drive! Lots to see and do for the whole family.

We got a last minute booking and it was great. Bathrooms were clean, sites were leveled and really close to the river. Took our paddleboards out for a day of sunshine and tranquility

It was closed for the season but what areas we could hike didn't disappoint in terms of fall colours.

We had such an amazing day riding our horses on the trails. There is so much variation- hills, flats, water, forest, and open fields- you couldn't ask for more!

At some point I lost my phone somewhere in the forest and couldn't find it. We contacted Saugeen Bluffs via Facebook, and the kindest man who works there (Jim L) went out searching for it, and FOUND IT for me at 9pm at night! I honestly couldn't believe he took the time to do that for me, and was SO thankful and appreciative. That's going above and beyond!! Thank you Jim, and everyone who works so hard at keeping the trails in great shape. We will be back many more times!

I love it here. Quiet and clean. Conservation authority does regular vehicle patrols to keep the drunks and rowdy campers in check. Beautiful land. Nice tent sites. And the river! They offer a kayak canoe rental service that also drops you off and picks you up if you please. Parking on sites is kept to a minimum so you may have to hike if you go with a group. If you haven't camped here, do it!

Stayed for 3 nights. Our site (#130) was great. Even though it was raining 2 nights in a row, our site staid dry . We hiked the trails and took a kayak ride from access 10 to 11. It was nice and gentle.

We love this place, it has a mix of seasonal and pay per use campsites and everyone is usually very welcoming and nice. There is a park for smaller kids which is nice too!

First time camping here this year for Thanksgiving weekend. It is a lovely secluded campground yet close to the river for canoeing and kyaking. It tended to be a fairly wet and cold stay so did not get the opportunity to use the hiking trails. The washroom/shower facilities are clean and accessible. Unfortunately but maybe good too there is not access to Internet or cel service unless camping closer to the store area. Overall a great stay here and will be back.

We had a
Great stay at the Saugeen. Trails were well marked and well done. Loved the new bridges. Would definitely come back again. Stalls were clean and definitely big enough. We had a fun time. Love the way you can ride to the General Store and use hitching post for your horse.!
