We didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the museum and the grounds. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. The long house was very interesting! The grounds were very beautiful with the Fall colors. The admission price was also very reasonable.

Amazing hotel and wonderful service. The room decor was very cool and it was also very clean. The restaurant on site is absolutely amazing—its a bit slow but the food is worth the wait. The museum on site is also very well done. Highly recommended!

We stayed the hotel for three nights and it was excellent. The museum/hotel complex is rather unassuming from the road, but inside it is great. There's a large lobby looking out over a fire pit surrounded by rough cut pavers; the front desk staff is top-notch and the rooms are large and well-maintained; the bed is very comfortable and the room we had came with a nice patio area. The hotel is dog-friendly and there's a gavel walkway in back of the hotel which runs along a fast flowing river. There's also a bike path that's well-used on the other side of the hotel which can be ridden pretty much as far as you want east or west. Even at 6:30am you can find a group of riders ride 40km. There are a couple things that could improve the experience: (a) if there was more than one regular chair in the room; that is, the room came with one comfy chair and one rolling desk chair, but it would have been nice to have two non-comfy chairs. (b) If there was a small table on the patio or in the room. We were looking for the latter so we could open a bottle of wine on the patio and sit with our dogs in the evening, but there was no small table to be found. Overall, this hotel is HUGE step up from the Crowne Plaza or Residence Inn. We would definitely stay there again. Also, the restaurant is fantastic! We had three meals there and it's not to be missed. Finally, a tip of the hat to Alexandra at the front desk who checked us in and arrange for the very nice room.

I stayed at the hotel as part of a package and enjoyed everything. From the moment that we checked in with Alesia, through the dinner and breakfast, the experience was wonderful.
Dinner and breakfast were unique and delicious. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful.
The hotel grounds had a nice path though the woods to the river with information plaques throughout to give us some information as we went along.
We also saw the Onhwa' Lumina show which was amazing!
I highly recommend the hotel and the show.

Beautiful setting next to a gorgeous river. We had a client activity followed by a cocktail. The meeting room was great. The food that was passed around during the cocktail was among the best I ever had. Very pleasant surprise. Those who stayed overnight enjoyed a comfortable room. Some even slept with an open window to listen to the river.

My wife and I came on our honeymoon for the Kwe package experience and could not have been more thrilled with everything. The guided tour of the museum offered a great insight into the history of the Wendat people and the Myths and Legends activity was an experience we will both remember for years to come thanks to the quality of the storyteller.

The restaurant on site was probably the biggest surprise. I will not be surprised to see it earn a Michelin star when the guide gets around to offering stars within Quebec City. The four-course tasting menu we had for our final dinner made its way into the best meals of my life, beating other starred restaurants I have visited in the past. All ingredients are locally sourced with as many as possible coming from on the reservation itself, giving an even more intimate feel to the food. The only suggestion I would make is to start jarring and selling the blackberry jam they serve with their bannock bread during breakfast, it is to die for.

We attended the English language Discovery Tour at the museum. Our Wadake guide, Diego, was knowledgeable, interesting, animated, and just poured himself into his presentation. We learned so much we didn't know about the Wadake people, their history, world view, and how they came to be able to keep and live on a portion of their ancestral land. The museum is beautiful, the long house was, by all reports, extremely authentic in its reproduction, and the church - one of the ten oldest churches in North America - highlighted St. Kateri Tekakwitha. We look forward to enjoying a meal at the restaurant, La Traite. Highly recommend this tour.

Staff is fantastic. Rooms and architecture of the building in general are amazing. Room was large and comfortable. The view from the room is fabulous. We enjoyed the activities. The packages including the activities and meals are definitely worthwhile. The food is an amazing experience. There were charging stations for electric cars, which I greatly appreciated. Very very limited options for vegetarians and vegans. Sound proofing is below average.

Beautiful location, wonderful hospitality and fantastic cuisine (my 7-year old devoured his 3-course meal). The cocktails were new and refreshing. Our server and sommelier made perfect recommendations tailored to our palates and meal. The flambé coffees are a delightful must!

The hotel & rooms are tastefully decorated in a warm contemporary style that brings natural elements and textures into all spaces, and completely banishes kitsch. The artwork and artifacts throughout bring to life the long history and vibrant culture of the people who live and work here.

The museum tour is a must! Learn about the history of the land from the people who were there long before settlers arrived (and ask before taking pictures). We also loved our jewelry making workshop and the little gift shop had beautiful hand-made treasures (support local artists!). Make sure you leave enough time to enjoy the pool explore the property as well. Gratuities we’re included in the meals but tip your guides and the housekeeping pros. Don’t take pictures of people without asking (generally a good rule) and don’t take photos in the museum (respect the signage).

10/10 recommend.

This is a wonderful, clean and unique hotel. The decor is authentic and interesting and educational. The location of the hotel feels very rural along the river, but you are a few steps walking distance from some interesting stores and restaurants- truly a wild oasis in the heart of the city. The hotel is dog friendly and there is a fantastic old rail bed trail adjacent to the hotel for a long, safe, quiet and leisurely walk. It is also level and very accessible I the summer for bikes and wheelchairs.

Visited this hotel for a three day business retreat where our org was looking for an educational and culturally immersive experience. The respect shown for our Indigenous peers was so meaningful, dare I say the opposite of what I observe settler service is to my respected peers everywhere else we go.

The room design and hotel aesthetics are simply breathtaking, see my pictures (they still don’t do it justice). Very practical room too, those furs were beautiful. The lobby too was so warm and beautiful.

Then, the foooooooood. Breakfast, creative delicious, so healthy. Dinners, I am a fan of game meat (Elk, Deer, Bison, Lamb, were all perfect in every way) and my vegan peers were treated to great food as well.

30 mins from the Quebec airport, 30 mins from downtown (Old Quebec is the must-visit tourist area)

Most of all, grateful for all the Indigenous cultural learning embedded in the experience of staying here.

Looking for a meaningful and effective place to hold a retreat, board meeting, gathering?

This is it.

Staff is really welcoming and warm.
The whole place has that warm and cozy feeling.

The architecture is also super cool.
The rooms are warm and welcoming and are more than decent as far as size goes !
They don’t have that cold and un personalized look that most hotel rooms has. I was with my wife , my two kids and my dog. We had a ground level room with patio door leading straight outside . Perfect to walk the dog.

For anyone looking for a place to stay around Quebec city, head to Wendake, this place is really worth it !

I highly recommend this hotel and will come back without any hesitation

Magical place ! You definitely need to ho there at least one night. The only think I'm really desapointed.. is that they removed the spa and massage . An hotel like this one should have it

Nice cozy place. The place is calm and resourcing. The hotel restaurant have excellent breakfast. If you have children just be aware that their "crib" are instead a foldable park bed wich is not as big as a real crib. Other than that I recommend 10/10.

A very nice surprise. Professional and helpful staff, large and comfy rooms. The restaurant downstairs offers First Nations inspired cuisine which was the best food we had during the whole stay in Quebec. The museum is a plus, especially the long house – our personal highlight. Location is perfect for day trips to the Parc National de la Jacques Quartier, with great hikes and water activities. The souvenir shop is a bit disappointing – though the lady was the nicest.

We were very impressed by this hotel-museum. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet with a beautiful view of the creek, trail, and the fall leaves. It's one of the best dog-friendly hotels we've stayed at ($50 pet fee/stay with a beautiful dog bed and bone treat for our pup). The museum tour was so informative, and the collection well curated, and not to mention the onsite restaurant has really good food! If you are interested in learning more about the Wendat people and history, and immersing yourself in the neighborhood (the hotel is at the heart of many other historic buildings) full of stories, this is the place to stay in Quebec City. Can't recommend this place enough.
