The Black Knight Pub

We didn't experience any of the issues some reviewers seem to have trouble with. The service was just fine, our waitress was very nice. The food came out quickly and it was delicious.

We had the Deep Fried White Fish, which is the special on Fridays. It was nice and flaky and while the Haddock is cheaper and a larger portion, the White Fish is locally sourced and the Haddock is not.

We also had The Works Poutine, which was super tasty. I would eat here again without a second thought.

However, if the owner happens to read this.. a "Please Seat Yourself" sign might be needed, as we did stand at the front like knobs for a couple minutes waiting to be seated, since we didn't know.

Great place to relax, good menu, and taste great. Like to come back here when in Yellowknife.

Best prime rib and Yorkshire pudding anywhere!

Pints are $10, but you're WAY up north so... Nonetheless, great Irish Pub with dark wood, fancy clean bathrooms and they throw an amazing St. Patrick's Day party.

After the initial shock wore off with the rude waitress, we actually enjoyed ourselves. She came around eventually and the food was excellent. Great burgers and awesome wings. One complaint tho for sure, an English style pub that has only one type of Canadian beer on tap, pretty odd.

Best fish and chips! The batter is just the right amount with a hint of beer taste. Seafood chowder is also great and goes well with the deep fried fish.

Can't say enough about the BK burger. All the flavors were on point. I really needed that. Friendly staff and a legit English pub atmosphere. The butter chicken being consumed beside me looked delicious as well. Will be back!

Came here twice during my stay in YK. Wait staff was friendly and food was good. Apparently the pies are amazing although the sandwich and soup I had was equally delicious. Draft beer selection is good and live music on Saturday was a pleasant surprise. Interesting to just sit and observe the locals in their watering hole or join in the fun!

Black knight is an amazing place to go , Breakfast/lunch/Dinner or evening night with friends and a good beer this place do it all. Special Mention to Tanice the best waitress , she knows right away what I want even if I didn't went to black knight for months she's always goes above and beyond with her great service.

I've been here a few times and loved it. Went last night and a few hours later I was so sick. It's the only thing I ate yesterday so something was off. Sucks because I probably won't eat there again. Flip side The waitress was super nice and service was great.

A great place to sit, drink, and listen to music. It's definitely got great food and the whole bar is aesthetically nice. Their mints are stellar and the only beef I've got is that they got rid of their mac and cheese which was godly. Maybe one day it'll return revised but the place is still top notch. Has a lotta wing flavours and their specials are always pretty neato. I'd white knight for the black knight

Great service and never had a bad meal at this place. They also serve tasty Brunch items like waffles and egg Benedict on the weekends.
I have gone by myself to this pub a few times and I don't feel uncomfortable eating alone.

Good food and a lively atmosphere made this a great place for a middle of the day meal. Our food was served promptly by a very pleasant server. She checked back regularly and seemed genuinely interested in the quality of our dining experience.

I LOVE THE BK!! It's the best place in Yellowknife to eat, drink and be merry. East Coast music played live all the time, cozy atmosphere and friendly regulars. The food is awesome, the drinks will keep coming, and you'll fall in love with the place.
