Really nice sized camp sites and the beach was lovely. Only set back is no water hook up at sites but lots around the campground and easy to get to. No pets on beach

Beautiful campground!!
Not much privacy, because there isn't a lot of trees. However, I did not care at all. The camp site was incredibly big and the view was just too beautiful!! I loved to hear the sea waves during the night, so peaceful. The water was clear and warm, perfect to go swimming. We also saw some crabs and hermit crabs during a walk on the beach. Toilet is a tiny bit far, but very clean.

I stayed in cabin D, which had the best view of all the cabins! Unlike the other two New Brunswick provincial parks, they do not have electricity! That was unexpected. The cabins are a bit far from the washrooms and water but worth it for the view, deck, and chairs facing the Northumberland Strait with an almost panoramic view of the water! Customer service was not very friendly, and washrooms are dated. But the laundry was $1 for wash and $1 for dry, very economical! Would definitely return.

Campground is located on a bluff above the sandy beach. Great views of the beach, PEI and gorgeous sunsets. Very roomy grassy sites. Very friendly staff. Clean showers and laundry area. Playground and picnic areas.

The park was easy to find. There is pavement all the way. The interior roads are a mix of pavement and gravel and are in good condition. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are basic.

Our site, 103, was a grassed section that had no designated spot for parking the rig. What ever configuration works for you. For us, we parked the coach so the Windshield faced the ocean which meant that the right side was sheltered from the prevailing southerly wind. There was plenty of room for our towed and the distance between sites was generous. Our service (30 amp only) was to the right rear but this did not interfere with our enjoyment of the site. Distancing is great for a rural park. There were a few NON SERVICED sites close to the beach that had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was “lumpy” but we had no trouble getting level. Overall the park was one of the best we have ever stayed at. Be aware, the FULL SERVICED sites are not as nicely spaced as the partials. They are very close together.

There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We were able to find a few OTA TV channels. Satellite should not be a problem. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them dated but clean.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance. Make sure you arrive well supplied as there are no stores near by. Shediac is just under an hour away but worth a visit. There you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a great place to rest, relax and enjoy the beach We paid $40.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

This park is New Brunswick's best kept secret. A sandy beach ⛱ with the warmest waters north of the Carolina's. The camp sites are a flash back in time to when camp sites were spacious. If lucky you will in the evening see the Phantom ship of the Straight.

Great campground on an excellent beach. We had site 2 which is a huge site that is backed against the trees. Plenty of sun and shade. Nice playground for the kids. Very big sandy beach with shallow water to swim in. There are plenty of unserviced sites and electricity sites as well as a few full service sites. They also have a few rustic cabins available. I am sure we will be back.

We love the place. Open space, great view, clean, grass, fireplace, sandy beach, hot showers, friendly management. We will definitely stay here when we come again to NB.

Greate place for camping. One of my favorite, but the bathrooms and wifi are poor. Also the client service not 5 stars. Instead of this I like very much this place and beach.

Fantastic campground! The sound of the ocean can be heard from every point. So beautiful. It's mostly an open space, which makes it windy. As a result, there are no mosquitoes. Renovated bathrooms and unlimited free showers make it all really nice. Security supervisor Alex is a gem. :-) We stayed on a campsite #38. It is shielded by the trees from two sides and the ground is slightly raised, and doesn't get flooded in case of a big rain.

Murry Beach is very nice and well maintained. Few trees and exposed to the wind. Dry camping or 30 amp electric. Water 💧 is located throughout the park. Washer and dry in the same building as showers. There is a dump station on the way out by the park office.

Fantastic campground right on the beach. Great water front views from the campsite. The lots are really big is you get one of the electric only sites. The full service ssites are kinda bunched together. If you are dry camping the sites are only a few steps from the beach. There are a few nice communities near by to explore when you aren't at the beach. The only thing you need to remember is to fill your tanks before you park.

It's beautiful, the beach and the campground. It is quite well maintained, the lots are big and the washrooms are not bad at all. The shower is not the best...but atleast there are free showers. Overall one of the best campgrounds.

This summer was the first time I had ever heard of Murray Beach. The campground is very open but there are some sites that offer more privacy. My partner and I went on two separate occasions- one with a friend and the other was just the two of us.

I cannot rave enough about the evening staff- GERALDINE!! What a superstar, she is!! She truly is a reason we will always continue to go back to this park. She has a zest for life and knows customer service. Our last night at the park was extremely windy- our tent was literally flattening. But, who cares?! It’s so majestic and beautiful there we didn’t even mind. Geraldine came down to our site, noticed our tent was in rough shape and she put us up in the rustic shelter.

It was amazing! The sunsets are second to none and the place is wonderful!

Thanks again Geraldine for your wonderful bake goods and hospitality :)

Amazing campground, clean, easy beach access. The beach is somewhat rocky though, so bring water shoes!!

On the downside, the playground is rundown and they have fixed hours for buying wood.

Stayed at this camp for 4 days in the middle of august and it was one of the most amazing camping experiences I have ever had. Campgrounds had wide spaces and were very quiet during the day and night. Two of the days during my stay the weather was perfect for the beach, on those days almost everyone staying at the camp (Which surprisingly wasn’t really that many people) went down to enjoy it. The whole establishment is clean and organized, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The fact that you have to drive down the road a bit to reach a grocery store just made the camp feel more secluded in the best of ways. Genuinely amazing camping experience, can’t wait to go again.

As an additional note, I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the wind, but I can honestly say that during my stay I did not experience those strong winds they were talking about. Maybe a light breeze on some days, but definitely nothing strong enough to knock down a tent. Another thing to consider is, when camping by the beach, a breeze or light wind is to be expected.

Great place for outdoor camping although usually very windy. It was quiet during all our stay. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and facilities were cleaned everyday. As a bonus, you don't have to pay for taking a shower.

They are also very accommodating : during the day after our first night, our tent fell over on its side because of the wind and when asked they told us we could choose any available lot to move to without any additional fees. We chose a lot with more trees and we didn't have any more issues for the rest of our stay.
