Dancing Moose Cafe

I'm visiting family in town and decided to try this place and it was possibly the best breakfast I have ever had.

Great place to start the day in Old Town Yellowknife. Terrific breakfast and lunch menu and very nice staff

Absolutely delicious food! Go a little early to beat the morning rush! The cinnamon rolls are ridiculous!

Best eggs benedict I've had in a long time. Great service! Hidden jem of the north. I highly recommend you try this place. I went twice in two days.

I good choice of food! My omlette with asparagus and brie was wonderful.

Nice and friendly staff. We stayed here for their B&B and they promptly clean our rooms every morning. When you stay there, they provide breakfast and you can choose any item from their menu. Must try for their breakfast. Apparently people in Yellowknife say this is the best place for breakfast. On weekends, there is a line that goes out the door to wait to try their breakfast. I recommend the Eggs Benedict with Arctic Char.

Amazing Burger's try the Loaded Buffalo Burger

Had the arctic char eggs Benedict, so very yummy. Kiddo had the waffle. The wait staff was exceptional. I think the food came out of the kitchen so quick that the waitress barely had time to submit the ticket!

The food was fantastic, the view was amazing (directly out over great slave Lake) the people were friendly, what more could you ask for!? If you were thinking fresh, warm Chelsea buns the size of your face, they've got that too! Definitely a place to check out and peep some local art.

Cute place, great service and they were more than accommodating to my vegan diet. Despite my being a bit of a pain in the ass while ordering, the server was happy and friendly. The portobello eggplant burger and the spinach broccoli soup were both excellent.

Top notch food and drink. The decor music and staff are pleasant. The food was hot and full of flavour. Will come back. Go see my favorite server down there! ask for Kim!

Had Sunday brunch (yes, they ARE open Sundays). All 3 of us had the Great Slave Pickeral (Walleye or Dore) and it was excellent. Service was impeccable with endless coffee and a nice view of the bay. Highly recommend it

We stayed here when we visited Yellowknife in September 2016. Food is EPIC. Stay was amazing and the owner is a great guy. We talked politics, life in Toronto and what not. We also got to see the northern lights from the balcony. Great view of lakes and sea planes too.

Great service, great food, fairly priced. Was visiting from out of town and on a tight time constraint otherwise we would have spent every morning in this beautiful little café. (Tofu scramble was stellar!)

I have lived in Yellowknife for 19 years, and came to the realization that we don't have the best restaurants around.. So when I found out about the Dancing Moose Cafe, I had to try it! I mean.. Why wouldn't you try something new here? What else is there to do!? The Dancing Moose is a quiet, cozy and they have delicious food. The plating of the food is beautiful, and you can tell they really have a passion for cooking. There's always new great specials. Definitely a place to go to, if you live in Yellowknife or if you're just visiting!

Always have some meals here when visiting Yellowknife. The food is excellent and a fair view of some of the lake activity. Decor is quaint, perhaps a bit close/cramped, but still comfortable.
