Really Enjoyed this Place Today, Thanks for Being Opened on a Stat Holiday (Canada Day). Had the Bison Burger and My Lady had the Arctic char, Both were Delicious. Wasn't to Busy when We Went. Maybe the Weather, Maybe it is Early July, Not Sure and Not Complaining. Found it to be Perfect.

Great historical place for one time visit when you're in Yellowknife. We were lucky enough to be there on their closing day. They're only open through summer and early fall so do visit when you're in town. It has a nice cabin-like vibe overlooking the Great Slave Lake and a very nice atmosphere.

They served me the best fish taco I have ever had. Period. My son and I were fighting over the third taco on the plate, it had some kinda corn/sauce on it that is hard to describe...just simply great. The salad was very good too. We had a fish and chips that beat out most places in London. Very crispy but not greasy... Loved it. Everyone should go here.

A definite place to visit while in YK. Iconic and unique fresh selections fish all way from Nunavut on regular basis. These 2 dishes were amazing the maple/ginger chicken and the Bison Burger.

Lovely place, I wish the menu had more options but you know when there are a few selections, those meals are mastered down to a science! Staff were friendly and food was delicious and extremely filling!

Attentive staff, prompt service, welcoming environment, and delicious food. A great place for a casual lunch with friends or an intimate meal with your partner.

A great place to go for lunch and enjoy the water and the vibe.

Cozy, comfortable indoor dining and refreshing outdoor dining with a view of Back Bay Lake. Clean restrooms and kitchen. Yummy, reasonably-priced food served by the most polite and friendly servers! (I’m glad we ended up here. Bullocks Bistro wouldn’t give me the time of day as we waited to be seated.)

We got the bison burger and bison pie and they were very delicious. It was our favourite YK meal to date! The charming log-cabin setting is uniquely Canadian. It's a pity that this place is only open in the summer.

This is one of the oldest places in Yellowknife. It is a classic location and a nice piece of history. It's not a whole lot in terms of a cafe but it is fun to go and visit especially if you are just visiting. If you go in the summertime, which really is the only time to enjoy it the most, try and get a seat on the deck outside where you get a great view of Back Bay.

Such a cool place! Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly! I had a Tipsy canoe coffee with whipped cream as well and it was delicious! Definitely a must-see if you are going to Yellowknife
