Had a lovely little stay at these cabins and will definitely be back! Cabins are delightfully rustic, and very clean. Views are stunning! Spent a lot of time sitting there admiring the beach and listening to the waves. Love the local products stocked for the bathroom and coffee. Great check in/check out experience, staff are friendly and helpful.

Such a cozy vibe here with their little cabins off of McKenzie Beach, the staff are awesome about making sure you have an enjoyable stay.

For fires, they provide a bucket, tinder, an axe, and the logs which saves us from bringing more than just our fire pit (required).

They're super dog friendly and provide a bowl, treats, and a ground floor room for easy access to the beach.

The rooms are quite rustic in vibe and nature, so they're not in mint condition but I feel like that's part of the charm here. They're always super clean and provide a very comfortable experience.

4.5/5. Great location, we had the upper floor of the oceanview cabins so had some wonderful views overlooking the beach and ocean. Kitchen was fully stocked (pan might have been due for replacing due to the number of scratches on it) and loved the temperature control in the room as it was very cold outside this February. No vanity kits available so make sure to bring everything you need before you come on down. There was a fairly large cobweb in the corner of the room as well but nothing a quick brush won't fix!

The only thing I wish they had was king beds. The rest was perfect. Right on the beach, pet friendly and some amazing sunsets. The BBQ options and beach fires at night were deluxe.

Fantastic little place with easy access to a great beach for beginner surfers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and very clean. Rooms were very clean. The couch/bed set-up was pretty basic, but still comfortable. Great value. I would definitely go there again.

Rooms - Far from luxury, think comfy and cozy. Cabin vibes.
Service - Staff are receptive, prompt, and most importantly, leave you alone.
Location - Mackenzie beach is our favourite, quick jaunt to Tacofino, Tofician and wild side grill. 5 minute drive into Tofino.

Pros: Exceptional value, Level 2 EV chargers, Quite dog friendly, variety of options of varying prices, stumbling distance to the beach. Full kitchen, clean.

Cons: 2 story yurts aren’t well insulated, you can hear those above you. The stairs outside are creaky and disruptive.

We have stayed at ocean village 5 times. We will continue to stay at ocean village.

What a beautiful place to stay. My aunt and I spent two nights there and it was great. We appreciated how close it was to the beach and being able to leave the windows open to hear the waves.
While we didn’t take advantage of it, I really liked the free amenities they had.

It was my second time here and I had the most wonderful stay at Ocean Village in Tofino during the Fall season. It's very peaceful, the rooms are clean with a wonderful view of the ocean that can be enjoyed during sunrise and sunset. They have amazing service - anything you need will be sent to your room very quick and they are wonderful with communication. I was able to do late check in after the front desk closed.

Cute cabins right on the beach. Amazing views from most of the cabins, and surprisingly very sound proof. We stayed on the bottom floor of a cabin and could hardly hear are neighbours upstairs. Our unit came with a basic kitchen that was well supplied with utensils and other necessities for cooking. The grounds were well kept, maintained every day we were there and the beach access was right at your doorstep. Has a shower for sandy gear, and a bigger setup for a bigger clean of surfboards or other gear. Although this isn’t a beach you surf at so you’ll have to drive elsewhere to surf. The cabins were on the small side but it never felt crammed, also a bonus if you have a dog as it’s pet friendly. Bed was solid, and has couches which convert to beds, fine if you’re not too big or tall. Located close to everything.

Great place to stay in Tofino. We stayed in the “upper studio” which is 340 square feet, perfect amount of space for a couple. Room has typical hotel essentials shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, tea, coffee etc. Unit comes with a basic kitchen with a stove/oven, basic utensils needed for cooking, pots etc. Propane fire pit on premise.

Steps to Mackenzie beach, which offers beautiful sunset views nightly.

Stayed here last week for the first time. Staff were really nice! Location was great. Dog loved it. We were in a lower suite but couldn't hear the upstairs occupants at all. We will definitely be back.

The location is spectacular. Close walk to a popular food/surf shopping area. The beach at your doorstep is incredible and the water and beach for swimming was lovely. The room was very good ,was what we expected , a rustic cabin style room, very clean and ready for our stay as they said. The pool was the seller for the kids,The staff were great and assisted in making our stay perfect. We will definitely be returning.

Just about everything. The pool and hot tub are great especially on rainy days. They have beach toys, chairs and towels to lend. They have a nice BBQ area for dinner prep and a little area to have dinner at.

All rooms have a full kitchen and food for 4-6 sitting for dinner. On nicer sunny days, you can maximize your own picnic table and lounge chairs outside of your unit.

They have a nice fire bowl pit area for chilly nights.

Ladies at reception are very nice and helpful too.

It's quite the $$$ to spend but at the end of the day, it'll be nice if it were a little bit less 😊

We (two seniors) love this place. Stayed four nights in a garden suite. Our view from our cabin is the ocean front (with a row of cabins in front of us but below eye level, so we can easily see the beach) and south facing. The place is spotless, well cared for, has all the amenities we needed. We brought all our food so we had enough dishes and cooking pans etc. The room has one large bed and a couch that turns into a smaller bed. Perfect for two people or small family. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and we look forward to coming again. There were a lot of dogs around us, but only one problem barking dog and when we spoke to front desk, they dealt with it and then there was silence.

Beautiful, peaceful location on Mckenzie Beach. Able to sit n front of cabin and read, and enjoy the amazing beach view and sound of crashing waves with the beach just steps away. This is a magical place. The interior is high-quality wood, beds are comfy, and the bathroom has a large tub to indulge in if desired. Propane campfires are available on request. Highly recommend.

The cabins beachfront are perfect. They are clean and has a nice refresh yet still rustic. The patio view of Mckenzie Beach is stunning. Option for beach bonfire is wonderful. We were there with friends and we had cabins next to each other. Exploring the beach and walking along the beach line was a great experience. All great things and definitely will be back!
