Hotel Zed Tofino

From beginning to end, our stay at Hotel Z was absolutely amazing. The staff were all knowledgeable and friendly with a sense of pride in what they provide to the community.
The room was very fun and funky. The beds and the pillows are so comfortable (important to me) and there was just so much to do at the hotel from the arcade to the sunken lounge.
I had planned on getting married on the beach and the weather had other plans for me. Eli came through helped make my day magical and warm. Hayden was a delight to spend the day with. We felt like Hotel Z royalty! Thank you Matt!
The restaurant had the most beautiful food prepared on an open fire! Breakfast to dinner the food was delicious and fresh.

This is the “funnest” and coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. So many neat things to do at the hotel, perfect for the wet coast! The staff were warm and inviting - every detail of the experience was conscious and attended to. The food at ROAR and the baked goods at the coffee shop were delectable. And I will be telling everyone about the forest viewing hot tub and sauna. Can’t wait to come back!

Amanda and Kiara at the Front Desk at Hotel Zed exceeded all my expectations! From the warm welcome to the warm, friendly service throughout our stay, every moment was a delight. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was inviting, especially the lobby area which was so much fun! The on site restaurant, ROAR was top-notch. I highly recommend Hotel Zed to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Tofino! We will be back!

Ki at the front desk treated me as if I was family! I felt so welcomed on my entire journey throughout the hotel and grounds. I felt as though I was given special treatment while I tried to find myself on my mini vacation. The smoked lava cake in the resturant left me wanting to keep eating more! I’ve never had a better experience at a hotel from the time I arrived until I left. The rooms were spotless and every staff member was super kind and helpful when I needed anything. Will definitely be back!

We ended up here last minute because another Motel in town didn't work out - happiest mistake ever. This property wowed us from the moment we walked in the front door. Your pet fee gets you a warm welcome and a doggie bag of treats, poop bags, and a dog towel, and dogs are allowed (almost) anywhere on property. This is easily the best and most thoughtfully designed and decorated hotel I've ever been in. The amenities, the lovely staff (every one of them) and the setting is just impeccable. Great food/cocktails at Roar. 10/10 recommend, and will hopefully be back to visit this space and the two other locations on the island. Zed for the Win.

Great experience at Hotel Zed in Tofino. Front desk Kierra I believe was very friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and the room was really nice. The property has a few things to do which is great as there isn't much nearby. Having the bar / restaurant on site was great although I wish it was open a little later. Overall, great experience and will recommend / return. Also great shower setup!

Super close from the beaches and just enough far from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Tofino, this place was a magical stay for us!

Thanks again for Amanda at the front desk who helped us very much to understand the intricacies of the Pacific Rim and its people. She was also very polite and compassionate when we got told a huge fat "NO" from the whaling tours when they straight up refused to show us polar bears. Thanks again will be back!

From the entrance of the hotel you are treated to a Nineteen Seventies vibe when you see the old Chevrolet station wagon that probably legally seats 7 but would be the type of car you can fit 10 back in the seventies (unsafely of course). This place has a pretty good restaurant but more importantly, it is very close to a beach, walking distance to downtown, great service from the staff, excellent rooms and beds, retro telephones, a secret arcade, a tiny disco, hot tub, close walk to an inlet, giant shuffle board and Scrabble, games for kids and adults for rainy nights. I really enjoyed it.

The hotel is absolutely stunning! Everything was so well done and thought out, even to the smallest details. The room/property was very clean, and above all else, the staff was top notch. The facilities and amenities such as the arcade and hot tub/sauna made for a great time, and the value for experience definitely cant be beat in Tofino, or anywhere on the Island for that sake. I'd like to also personally thank Elsie for making the stay so memorable- we were a couple of students staying overnight for an interior design case study and she was beyond helpful the entire time; even going well out of her way to tour us around the amazing rooms & suites! Thank you so much! We cant wait to come back!!

Hotel Zed is a phenomenally wonderful way to enjoy an already incredible Tofino. They have struck the perfect combination of laid-back and luxury. Everything from the check-in experience, to the lobby that feels like a huge living room, to the excellent food in the restaurant (Roar), to the countless amenities make Hotel Zed Tofino a must-stay.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Efficient and friendly staff. Not my first stay and won't be my last. All good Tofino hotels are ridiculously expensive, but Hotel Zed is comparatively reasonable for the comfort and service offered.

Had the absolute best stay here! Amanda was phenomenal and gave us the best recommendations for food and sight seeing around town.

Highly recommend this hotel to ANYONE! The only thing better than the accomodations are the people who work here

This hotel was beyond expectations! There are many things to do there and it is a great place for a family. Kids will love it. The restaurant is good, but like all places in Tofino it is a little pricey, but excellent food!
plus the beach is only a short 10 minute walk away. Stay here and you will love this out of the ordinary hotel!!

Great place to stay at for a weekend trip in Tofino. We had 2 Queen bedroom for our stay. Room was clean and everything was new. Lots to do at the hotel and close to Tofino and the beaches. We didn't get to try the restaurant but we heard it's not bad.

Excellent escape from the city. Outstanding property with a hot tub ,sauna, guest laundry, and of course great service. I was greeted by first rate guest service from Nimron and Wes who took time to answer any questions. This was a relaxing and fulfilling stay.

Amanda at the front desk does a really good job! We had a booking for 2 nights and she was very welcoming and explained everything so nice. I‘ll definitely come back.

Had a great time at Hotel Zed with the family recently. Kiara at the front desk was the best, soo helpful and we could see she really wanted to make us have the best time ever. I’d be happy to go back and Ki & the front desk crew and rocking it!

Stayed here this past weekend for a valentines get away with my girlfriend, very quiet because of the time of year which was perfect. Room was very clean. The bed was very comfy to my suprise I usually hate hotel beds. The hot tub and sauna area were very clean and well kept and in a very cool location outside, the arcade room was also very cool, I enjoyed wasting some time on pacman. The roar restraunt at the hotel was very good although pricey but worth it. Overall I was very pleased with my stay I wish it was ocean front but for the price I paid Im happy.

Had an incredible stay here and always recommend friends and family to stay here as well! Amanda at the front desk was absolutely lovely and was so informative. We could not have had a better experience THANK YOU!!!
