Amazing food! As you can see by the photos. Sever was very friendly and attentive. Went there to hopefully meet Chris, but alas, he was on a speaking engagement. Oh well. Was still definitely worth the drive from Edmonton. Happy to have supported a local business and people that believe in standing up for your rights as Canadians! 💪🇨🇦

The chairs in the Whistle Stop Cafe never had a chance to get cold. There was always people waiting but the service is so efficient that we never felt rushed while we ate and they ran this restaurant really really good 👍. Food was delicious and plenty plus the owner even came out from the kitchen to inquire about my dear sister in-laws and my birthday. Really really happy environment all staff were busy but very pleasant 😊. Great place for a get together for any or no reason. Oh yeah, get big chunks of dessert for a really good price 👌 👍

I blew the whistle and stopped for a much needed break. Seen this place and had to have a bite to eat. Fantastic food! Wings were amazing! Definitely stopping by again on my way through! Very friendly staff and awesome German chocolate cake! Thanks again!

Small town small town business with friendly atmosphere. Take the time to stop in and have a bite to eat.

Simple menu that you would come to expect in a small town with all everyone favourite. Couple items if you DARE to accomplish ( heart attack burger see picture.) maybe in our younger years we would have tried.

Order the grilled chicken wrap with side salad to the owner keep on allowing that as a option as not all enjoy fries! The side salad had tiny bits of veggie and even fruit that was really great!! Most establishments lack veggie in side salad. Everything was to be expected for flavour and the chicken in the wrap was warm. portion side was fair.

Other guest had zombie burger and their fries that are deep fried in lard. It one of those towers burger’s that you will definitely be needing lots of napkins. The patty was thick and little flavour ( pre frozen.) but with the condiments and extras add to the burger it was good.
The fries were good as well portions size was fair.

Order the German chocolate cake no picture but it was moist and full flavour. Portion size was fair .

I finally got the chance to stop in here! I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of the server, and the food was fantastic. That burger tasted more homemade than I've had in a long time. The blueberry crumble pie and ice cream wasn't a necessity, but golly, it sure was good. Split pea and ham soup to start. Wow, is all I have to say. If the rest of their menu is as good as this, I'm going to be trying everything.

We took a special trip over to stop here. It was well worth the time. Breakfast was delicious, crepes Benny and whistle Stop special were the order of the day. 😋 Enjoyed our visit with Chris! Thanks again for standing for truth.

Google got me again by the time I got out to the bike. Literally still outside the Whistle Stop. Not my first time here and certainly not the last. On my way back to Calgary and needed some lunch. Stopped in and got myself a Whistle Stop Club with a salad. I know I know, a salad. Blood pressure is up, so fry consumption is down. It was very good. The "in house" turkey was dark meat so it was quite flavourful and made the sandwich perfect. The salad was fresh made and crispy.
Got a couple cups of much needed coffee in me and back on the road. Staff were very friendly. See you again 👍🇨🇦

Probably the best Bacon Cheeseburger and fries I’ve ever had. To make it even better Chris Scott cooked it! He’s a hero with us freedom fighters! We even got a photo with him and had a chat!

Stopped by this iconic little cafe and was delighted! The food was fantastic (if you like hearty food!) and Chris and his cook made us feel at home. Cute and comfortable space. So happy we stopped.

Delicious food, good portions, reasonable price. I will be back, as the whole menu deserves trying. I think the rig-picker truck out front is now somewhat of a national monument.

We just left after an amazing fresh meal and it was so good. They use fresh quality ingredients and do alot of in house baking and the service was fantastic! Anyone in alberta should definitely make the drive up to mirror and try the whistlestop!

Great food, awesome friendly staff, we. go at least 1 a month. No other place besides home I'd go to eat. Thank-you Chris and all the staff for the friendly atmosphere.

We stopped in with no notice at all with 24 people (kids & grandkids) and Bailey the golden retriever, and were all given such friendly service. Both service and food were amazing! Thanks for everything, we will be back.😊👌👍🇨🇦 If you're ever in the vicinity it's worth the (Whistle) stop.

Have always had superb food whenever we have visited. Hands-down my favorite is the Clubhouse, best I've had anywhere. Fish and chips are amazing. Always generous portions and tastes amazing! Remember that pancake chicken sandwich you made? Don't worry I won't tell anyone.

Got a poutine and it was heaven on a plate. So good, fresh, and hot.

Coffee is fresh and flavourful.

People support eachother and people who made their own choices. Not on my way to anywhere but I will be coming here for as long as I'm allowed. ❤

This was my first visit to the Whistle Stop. I came to attend an event so while I was there I visited the restaurant for lunch. Can you say "Taaaaasssssttttteeeeeeee"? I ordered the veal cutlet burger which was absolutely a whole new level of YUMMY for my happy tastebuds. I had never seen or tried one of these before and it was a veal cutlet topped with mashed potatoes and gravy nestled inside a fresh hamburger bun. Sensational flavor.

The fries and gravy make my stomach growl just thinking of them...home made crispy fries and beef gravy. It just doesn't get any better than this.

I'm returning here in the not so distant future for a second run at the menu. I am craving one of those Whistle Stop burgers.. Can't wait.

I stopped there long time ago and had their burgers. Then I moved to Ontario. Now I am returning back to Alberta and I can’t wait to go back there. Amazing food and service. Great folks.

Great food. Great service. We missed breakfast but the chef made me my eggs Benedict anyway. The good folks sitting at the counter introduced us to all the people in the restaurant once they knew we supported all that has been done during the lockdowns. We felt like family.

I cannot say enough positive things!!
