Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Blackfalds Red Deer North

Angie and the staff at Blackfalds Microtel were so accommodating, friendly and welcoming! My husband and I had a function in Red Deer for the weekend, and felt that our stay was so peaceful! It was a very short drive into Red Deer which was nice, and it was a lot quieter in Blackfalds, which we appreciated! The town of Blackfalds is really nice too, and had a lot of great amenities very close to the hotel. There was an amazing jacuzzi, gym, and sauna. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The best part was definitely our great experience with Angie and the rest of the staff. We will definitely stay there again in the future, and recommend it for sure!

Great place to stay. Close to many amenities. Clean comfortable rooms equipped with only mini fridge and microwave.
Gym equipped well.

Not sure why this only has two stars. Everything was clean and well maintained, the bed was comfortable. The room was small but with adequate space for us to set up a pack-and-play for our baby. Breakfast was amazing! The staff we interacted with were wonderful.

Rooms were modernized, third floor rooms were spacious and nice! First floor room was smaller but still carried the theme of a nice clean hotel room. Over all was a good stay!

perfect room for my business trip needs. Hotel itself is great with a decent fitness room and a nice hot tub and sauna option on the ground level. No restaurant in the hotel, but they served a very well stocked continental breakfast every morning that impressed me with the pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt etc. Nice staff always with a smile. Definitely recommend

Very friendly staff, quiet and comfortable rooms. First choice whenever I am joining my husband while he’s working out of town. The breakfast is kept well stocked, staff stay near by and are quick to top everything up. It’s a very short walk to Tim Hortons, a grocery store, as well as multiple conscience stores. Lots of parking, plus multiple entrances into the hotel, with seating areas for anyone who smokes.

Quiet, comfortable beds, nice hot showers. Walking distance from Lokal Korean fried chicken which was fantastic.
Hot tub, gym and sauna were nice too.

I thought for a quick sleep it was great. Clean room clean lobby. Free breakfast we didn't try as just toast and cereal offered. Great price. Staff was friendly $6 guest laundry, 2.10 for soap, but we needed it. Mini fridge and microwave in room great if needed. Definitely return if coming through Blackfalds. Never used any other facilities.

This is a great little hotel for a quick stay. Most of the rooms have microwaves and fridges. The AC worked really well which was nice. Honestly, it's better than I expected for the price and the staff is really nice.

Very clean & comfortable room, which included microwave and fridge. Staff was knowledge, friendly & helpful and checked us into our room early. Free breakfast had good variety & area was very clean. Will definitely stay here again!

this is one of the best hotels in appearance and also with the staff, the manager was awesome in serving us with a comp on the deposit, couldn't ask for better , thank you from Dennis and Mary bambush. this is a 5 star hotel with a 10 star staff.

Amazing. Had our Wedding here and they were absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and more than accommodating. Would highly recommend booking here for events and gathering's. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

Excelent costumer service, the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

I didn’t stay, however I had to arrange a reservation for a family member. As I had to arrange it all over the phone, it wasn’t simple. I called and spoke with Rhonda, she was extremely helpful and patient. She worked with me to ensure that the reservation was completed and that our family member would have an easy check-in. Thank you Rhonda, your help was much appreciated.
