Tofitian Cafe

I think this is a
great choice if the famous rhino cafe is too crowded. I feel I am sitting in a garden, so good vibe. Easy parking too!

Updating my atmosphere rating with some photos from our visit.. Again, this gem turned out to be everything it was said to be. There's always a line up as the place is popular in the area and reasonably so.
We had a mocha and Hot chocolate to start.
For bites we went with sausage rolls and savory breakfast scones. The scones were filling and delicious. The sausage roll is unique and a must have.

The coffee and baked goods are to die for. Delicious 😋! I wanted to try everything on display but didn't have big enough stomach. Love the breakfast polenta I ended up getting. I tried both the regular coffee and decaf, both were great. A bit crowded in the space but ok.

Not the best bit not the worst coffee. Lovely pastries, baked goods and sandwiches. Went on a long weekend and it was extremely busy. Line was out the door. Total wait in line and then for coffee about 20 minutes.

SO delicious and the service was above and beyond!!! We were in Tofino celebrating a 60th Anniversary and wanted a "special" dessert along with some other treats for the celebration....Jenni, the Pastry Chef, did not disappoint. Having some food intolerances in our group, Jenni developed a cupcake masterpiece...GF lemon raspberry cupcakes with a lemon buttercream icing topped with a raspberry and dusted with gold flakes. Not only were they beautiful, they were the most delicious cupcakes ever (they should be on their regular menu!). We also enjoyed the GF cornmeal muffins (with smoked cheddar, jalapeños and veg), a veggie frittata and GF nut and seed cookies for a breakfast...all delicious. Huge thank you to Jenni and her team...it's very apparent they are passionate about what they do :-)

Nice little cafe for a quick coffee and some pastries. The scone with red pepper jelly was pretty interesting! Haven’t had anything like that before and my fiancé and I really enjoyed it. We were able to find seats pretty quickly even though it was quite busy on a summer morning in late August. Good for them!

Best coffee shop! We had an Americano and Matcha latte, and both were delicious.
I had the polenta breakfast slice, and hubby had the pumpkin loaf. We also purchased a hat and shirt for a reasonable price. Eco friendly.

My favourite coffee house on the island. A bliss 10 minute stroll across MacKenzie beach to this awesome coffee joint.
Delicious vegan noms with great tasting coffee at a very reasonable value for money in good serving sizes.
One of my favourite points is that all takeout mug components are compostable which is absolutely awesome.
A must morning ritual to grab a nice warming drink to watch the sunrise.

Such great coffee!! And so many amazing options for food!

Great place for coffee ☕, bakery and ice cream 🍦 . Free parking and next to other places to eat. Highly recommended.

You know you’ve arrived in Tofino when you take your first sip of Tofitian coffee! The staff are genuinely friendly and chill, the coffee menu is extensive… but the real gem is the in-house baking (especially the UNREAL sausage rolls, which are worth the ferry and the drive. Seriously.)
In short, I now completely understand why people in the city have the cafe’s decal on their car.

The best pastries I’ve ever had from a coffee shop. We had the chipotle black bean puff pastry, and it was perfect. Filling enough to be breakfast, but wasn’t too heavy.
They had lots of savoury options for pastry which I love, including vegetarian and vegan options.
The coffee is great too, not my fave.. but only because I’m not a fan of a more acidic profile in my coffee. If that’s what you like, you’ll love it.
A must-try if you’re in Tofino.

Lovely staff and amazing coffee that is not bitter nor sour

Beautiful cafe. Prices are very reasonable and their coffee is very good. Cute little seating area outside.

Lineups can be long. Prices are a bit, well, pricey. But the coffee and treats are very good.

Exceptional coffee (the best in town, and we tried them all), good service, and a beautiful spot along the road, with a comfortable patio.

Quality, fresh pastries, a well-pulled espresso, and alternative milks were handled nicely.

Was looking for a coffee place in Tofino that didn't have the super sweet box mixes of Chai as they are way too sweet. This was the place! Excellent Chai Latte. They make their own Chai Concentrate. It was the right spice and not too sweet!! Well done Tofitian!!! Super Yummy!! And they have they best lavender syrup, it's 1883 brand, so I will be back for a Lavender Latte too:)
