Canada Post

We just moved here and had to send out a package. Our receipt says Nicki so hopefully that’s the right name but she was so wonderful to talk to! It was genuinely the easiest and best post office experience I’ve had.

This is a post office we have used for years. The staff have always been welcoming, kind, and helpful. I've even had circumstances that prevented me from picking up a parcel and they worked with me to ensure that I was able to get it. Kind communication goes a long ways towards building a good relationship with your postal workers.

There have been many changes and adjustments as Blackfalds has grown far beyond the capacity of its tiny post office, and the employees have met them head on and worked hard to do their best with the space they have. Despite the discourtesy of mailbox subscribers who, at times, somehow feel that the post office functions as their personal space to sort their mail and leave what they don't want strewn about at all hours (for shame!), it's cleaned up and ready to go for the next day.

At times there can be very long waits as this outlet is not equipped to assist more than one person at a time if folks need to have a transaction rung through. A lack of equipment or inadequate staffing hours provided by the employer is not the fault of the employees or of the manager here.
Be prepared to wait and have a kind or encouraging word ready for those who work here. And if you happen to be in and there isn't a line, that's the time to get things done!

Most staff are super nice and friendly. Easy to deal with. Good service and I like them very much. They can be straight forward but people need to realize that sometimes they are having a bad day. This doesn't make them bad people. Keep smiling :)

Born and raised in Blackfalds and I've never had a bad experience at the Canada Post in town.
Staff are always friendly ans helpful even though they put up with so many angry and frustrated people on a daily basis!

I like the post office and I know most of the staff who are very friendly and do there best to help people but like all places these days it would be nice to have 2 people always at the counter during busy hours of the day.

Just another post office

Why is it there always seems to be one Bad Apple? Majority of the staff are polite. The one lady gets a “0”for being so impolite, un-professional and dragging everyone else down. Because of her, I only give it a two.

Every time I call in the lady who answers the phone is constantly blatantly rude, and completely unprofessional. When asked a simple question I am given nothing but blunt answers and impolite tone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
