A cute getaway spot in North Hately. The service was excellent and the food was great. I love what they did to the place, the decorations are so beautiful and vintage style. The beauty of nature surrounding this place is breathtaking. At night you can sit outside next to a campfire and enjoy clear skies view full of stars.
Would definitely come back here again.

One of our favorite stops on the way home from Canada adventures. The taproom has a modern rustic wilderness lake camp vibe complete with fireplace for its interior decoration that’s as warm and welcoming as the staff. Bartenders sling amazing mixed drinks and they have a fairly extensive wine list for a bar atmosphere. The food is basic pub fare but elevated (think herb and nut pâté over sea bass on a bed of potato purée vs fish and chips for example) and oysters are always so fresh and shucked to perfection! The best part for us is the awesome staff that have a perfect balance of offering you a nice private dinner experience while also being so attentive and kind that you feel like you are friends coming over for dinner rather than just a customer dining in an establishment. We love Le Hatley Restaurant next door as well for a longer and more formal farm to table dinner/gastronomic experience - but the tap room is our go to for well prepared delicious fast food.

Impeccable service, delicious food, and scenic view of the Massawippi lake. Only negative note was the annoying bees/wasps continuously trying to steel our food on the table while eating on the porch.

Service was excellent from the reservation booking over the phone up to the service at the table. Staff is friendly and fluently switching from French (me) and English (a Russian friend). Dishes were fresh and tasty (oysters, wagu steak and chicken salads). Price is reasonable for the quality!

The interiors of the restaurant take one back in time and the objects on display which seem to be collected over time, tell a story, making the experience more unique. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the 20 minute drive from Ayer's Cliff with one of the best services we have experienced.

What a delightful hidden gem! We stopped for lunch and were treated to world-class cocktails, beautifully presented main dishes (we took the quail and the scallops), and delightful wine pairings - all in a cosy, old-world country pub atmosphere accompanied by superb, flawless, professional service. We'll be back!

WOW quelle soirée magnifique! I went last night with a friend of mine for our birthdays and it was the BEST service and food experience I have had in a very long time. I used to work in hotels in Montreal and high-end restaurants and this restaurant did not disappoint. The wine recommendations were on point, notre serveuse attentionnée and the food was perfect. The decor is so cozy and we ended the night in the library and even if the bar had closed, they still asked us if we wanted a coffee, dimmed the lights and turned on the fireplace. We felt so special-we didn't want to leave and closed down the place. Highly recommend!!!

Each dish is very delicate and delicious. The staff are warm and friendly. If you like to enjoy delicious food while enjoying the scenery, then this restaurant is highly recommended!

Wonderful dinner after an afternoon of driving. Fireplace was on due to the cool evening and lent the perfect ambiance for a casual dinner. I had the burger and my wife has the pasta after our squash soup starters. So good and well done. It ended a perfect day.

Food and setting was beautiful. The fish of the day (doré) I ate had a lovelcream sauce with steamed room vegetables. My husband and father-in-law had the plate of the day, Bavet and fries. And mu mother-in-law had the aged beef burger. I loved the dessert a choux créme aux poured with Chantilly cream and chocolate crisps the went well with some peppermint tea.

Magnificent place and terrasse to spend the afternoon. The food is excellent. Part of estate is private for the guests of the hotel, but you still can enjoy the area and discover it if you walk along the trails.

The food is delicious! People are careful. The service is perfect. Really nice view on the terrasse. Details and decoration inside are rustic and tells us a story. The environment disconnected me from the city! Thank you very much!

Wow, let me just say that our dinner here was the highlight of our little weekend getaway in North Hatley. The pictures on Google maps do not do it justice. Gorgeous setting, both indoors and out, cozy, romantic, unpretentious despite being pretty upscale. Amazing staff, hospitable and professional. The food was amazing, we had the salmon tartare, I had fillet de sole, and my fiancé had the caille. Guests can also hang out around the fire pit in the garden. Cannot wait to be back.

I don’t normally leave feedback but this place has a soul. Very cosy, attentive staff, great food and cocktails.

Came to Manoir Hovey for a nice winter lunch and was not disappointed. Excellent service and food. Wonderful place and will definitely come back.

This place is amazing. We were lucky to spend this beautiful day of autumn at the terrace enjoying superb food.

The view is exceptional.

Watching people relax in this peaceful environment makes you put in sync with them inmediately.

I have to make an special mention of how sweet and kind Maggie is. We were lucky to interact with her, but not lucky enough to have her serve us directly, people at the patio area were luckier. She really enjoys being part of this remarkable place.

Wonderful ambience. The food is delicious. The staff are all courteous and very attentive. It was a perfect evening. Special mention for our server, Julie, who was kind, quietly friendly, unobtrusive but always there just at the right moment. We felt like very valued guests.

We were lucky enough to sit out on the beautiful terrace overlooking the water. Had a delicious asparagus starter with the burger as my main - perfectly cooked burger with a ton of flavor. The atmosphere on the terrace was great, so if you can sit outside I highly recommend although the inside was also beautifully decorated. Thank you for making our trip to the Eastern Townships so lovely.
