Yellowknife Airport

The Air Canada staff were friendly and efficient. The airport is bright and although somewhat dated clean. Short term and drop off parking were easy and clearly marked. There is a limited selection of "airport" style food to eat there or take on your flight. Baggage was fast.

Good parking
Be prepared to load into the plane from the tarmac (no surprise to me, FYI)

it's a very cute little airport with gaint polar bear. I don't see why people not rate 5 star for this airport. it's amazing this airport in such a northen city that you can helps you with seeing those aorura much easier than you think. Drive to YK next time if you don't like this airport. Don't compare it with other commercial airport. The YK airport is where you can landed your workaholic mind and take off your spirit nature journey. I

Small..but a nice fast pace airport. Staff are friendly and courteous..artwork is beautiful..and the statue of the stuffed polar bear and seal is pretty awesome

Great little airport in the North. Be sure to say hello to the polar bear in arrivals. Oh, and the moose and seal.

Smooth ride is reflected in a smooth processing and accommodation at this yellowknife airport. The health counter was very organized. I love this airport.

Had to unload de-ice for a client at the Airport great folks very helpful and knowledgeable.

Small airport but very well organised.

Staff were lovely! Received my baggage very quickly and there was a shuttle to take me to my hotel. Very neat wildlife instillation!

Small simple easygoing little airport

A small airport but with everything you need. The only difficulty is the fog

Small airport, fast in and out. Security wants all of your stuff out of your backpack -- laptop, drone, drone batteries, drone controller, camera, and more.

Needs a bigger security screening section, too small area

I found everything arranged so it's easy to navigate. The only very important bit to know is that this airport closes after the last flight around midnight for 4 hours until around 4-4:30 am. They have no 24 hour accommodations so I was essentially left with no place to go in the 0 degree weather. It was my fault for not researching the airport info. Just something to remember.

Small airport. No complaints about the staff/experience. Everyone was friendly/helpful. Not much in terms of food/drink options once you pass security.
