Friends Pub

Brought our U9 hockey team there for lunch today while in Clearview for a tournament. Called the day before as we were in a jam and did not have a lunch spot for the kids and parents. The staff at Friends went above and beyond ensuring they had enough employees and tables to manage our 45 person party (with less then 24 hours notice). They asked what time our next game was and coordinated to ensure we were fed and out the door with time to spare ahead of our next game. Both the food and service was excellent. For an independent restaurant we were blown away by how organized and prepared they were to manage such a large group. I would recommend Friends Pub to anyone visiting Clearview who is looking to grab a pint and some comfort pub food.

deffinitely my first choice for a burger of any kind of resturaunt bar food not only is it amazing but they elevate there menu with there own twist and delicious sauces and side dishes love this resturaunt's exceptional staff and owner to whom are all very friendly, welcoming and always willing to do what they can to make your meal with yourself or family and/or friends one to always remeber so i very highly recommend anyone and everyone to come to this amazing pub for a bite to eat great conversation and a nice hot cup of your favorite tea or coffe or a cold refreshing soft drink for the kids while mom and dad have a cold refreshing beer or a nice relaxing glass of wine or a nice night out with friends for a nice stiff drink enjoy and cheers!

This place is great value. Food is very good. Great meat pies and soup (always good indicators of skilled cooks). Staff are wonderful. We're lucky to have such a place nearby.

Ordered for lunch take out. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Definitely recommend.

Great place to go back three hundred years back!

As per its namesake, this pub has extremely friendly and helpful staff. On me and my wife's first visit we were treated like regulars. Wednesday is wing night with .90 cent wings 🪽

We love Friends Pub. Always stop in on our travels up to my hometown. The Reuben is one of the best we’ve had. Friendly staff, great service.

I just visited Friends Pub and had the most delicious meal. Lemon pepper Halibut with perfectly cooked fresh veggies and homemade fries! Great food plus really good service. If your in Stayner and want a good meal, I highly recommend!

I had a Celebration of Life for my late husband this past Saturday (June 25th)
I had a few people refer Diane to use for the caterer. I am so glad I got in touch with her, she was early to set up, the sandwiches were amazing. They only use real chicken & roast beef. Fruit & veggie trays, pickles, coffee, tea, lemonade or ice tea plus the desserts were delicious. They made the sandwiches right there & if they were getting low, they would make more FRESH! If you need a caterer for any function I highly recommend Friends Pub, give Diane a call.

Fantastic place to eat, really good atmosphere and good service from the staff. It was my first visit here and the place was busy even though it was a week day, but the wait time was not long, well done guys I will be back again.

Three of us were traveling through Stayner on July 8th. I noticed Friends was open.
We went in and ordered take away.
The owner was gracious and we socially distant while our food was prepared.
The food was great and I am pleased Friends is still operating during these difficult times.
My two friends will return when they are in the area again.

Have gone here a few times over the years. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Recently did their Vday special and the food was great, big portions and a good price.

This is a great place to enjoy good food while watching the game on multiple screens and/or grabbing a pint. One of only a few pub/restaurants serving Guinness on tap so that makes them extra special.
Open for breakfast on Saturday only, their Eggs Benny is totally top drawer!
All food offerings are good quality, generous portions and served with a smile and an "Enjoy, love"...

Amazing place. wish I could rate more. Breakfast is everything you could ask for staff is polite quick and very nice. Food is amazing from breakfast straight through to dinner. Food is always very well portioned and always hot and cooked properly. Place has tv's for the games and tables enough to seat large groups.

Dropped in to kill some time, WOW, menu is fantastic and meals are prepared fresh, tried a home made turkey pot pie ( real turkey), with a salad ( fresh and hand cut), absolutely awesome, I stayed longer then I should have, great staff, and owner is hands on, lots of parking, Great Job everyone !!!
