Athens Hardware

I needed a few plumbing parts and they had them right there. I needed some paint and they mixed that for me too. I love this place and it saves me driving 30 minutes to go somewhere else for the privilage of paying the same or more.

Absolutely love this hardware store. Especially prices and the amazing knowledgeable staff. Thank you for your kindness and help. Everyone in there is nice and pleasant. Go here alot.

Coming from north of Italy to Athens is just something... bit have the chance to visit this shop is an experience.

A shopper should be able to find anything there (from printer ink to nails to warm socks!)

Gifts (handcrafted from area businesses) are readily available upstairs at the back of the store. Reg who happens to be the Owner is there nearly everyday & the customer is #1 for him. His employees are in the exact same belief & will bend over backwards to try and help you find whatever you may be looking for; if they do not do not have it, they are more than willing to order it in for you.

Athens Hardware's prices are on par with all the other big hardware stores out there
like Home Depot, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, etc Most visits I find it's a better deal.

The people that work there & there are three including Reg that I have become so familiar with over the years. kno. It's a small store but it's also a heritage building so its quite long. It's just jammed with great finds! Customer Service? Excellent. Plus they are always good to have a laugh with.

They will help you bring your stuff out to the car if there's a lot or if it's too heavy. In the Spring & Summer, they have seedlings in the back, this also happens to be where they sell the Lumber.

Why wouldn't you want to profit a small business in a small town with such wonderful people that work with it and for it. If Athens were ever to lose this main store I think everyone in the area would be devastated.

Love this hardware store. Staff is so friendly and everything you need is there and then some. Have yet to go upstairs to the gift section. Can't wait!!

Amazing friendly staff which will go above and beyond to help you. Such great selection for a country hardware store, we buy mostly everything here. They now have a gift shop upstairs!

These people are great. Any time I phone they promptly and professionally answer all my questions. Anytime I drop by for a purchase they have what I need or a suitable alternative. They are a great addition to the community and I try to stop there first for prompt service and expert advice.

The owner and staff and great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Fair prices and excellent quality lumber compared to box stores. Would definitely recommend.
